MARISELA IN CONCERT:
Platinum blonde Latin pop sensation Marisela continues to be an icon nearly two decades after her debut, living up to her reputation as the Latin Madonna with racy performances and her signature girly vocal style. Marisela thrilled concertgoers at her 2013 shows, taking the stage in slinky outfits to perform nostalgic hits like "Sin El" and "Mi Problema," and fans can count on another healthy dose of blonde ambition as she hits the road for more tour dates in 2014.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Born in Los Angeles to Mexican immigrant parents, Marisela made her album debut at age 18 with Sin El (1984). All ten of the album's songs landed on the charts, catapulting it to platinum sales and cementing its status as one of the most important Latin pop albums of the decade. She continued to release hugely popular albums throughout the '80s and '90s, with fans and critics alike hailing her as Latin music's answer to Madonna. Donning the same platinum coif and racy outfits that made her famous in the '80s, Marisela delighted fans on tour in 2013, fueling anticipation for another round of performances in 2014.

The only disappointment was the Venue Plaza Theatre drink prices are outrageous not worth the prices for the amount of liquor they use. Also seats are very uncomfortable.

Great show, security mean

Security at spotlight casino, grabbed her and manhandled her, breaking her iwatch and leaving her bruises on her arms and back, they put handcuffs on her and escorted her out. I purchased 4 tickets to this event and I’m horrified how they handle the fans. There were others that were treated this way. I wish I could get a refund, not because the show was bad but the security ruined it., traumatizing!

The fact she performed 1 hour late, then had the audacity to only "perform" for roughly 1hr 45... Including the fact they opened show with her latest music video.. (seriously?) Then her Band played for another good 5 minutes (without her- felt like they were killing time). San Diego concert was definitely not the best of her shows... Too bad her audience did show up, since it was a sold out show!
Great Venue but dissapointed in the singer

The only issue was that Marisela got on stage over an hour LATE and only sang for about 1 hour and some change, which half of that hour she spent either getting changed from dress to dress or talking. We were all waiting for her to sing her iconic song "dama de hierro" and that NEVER happened. So dissapointed, this was the 4th time I had gone to a concert of hers and she had never dissapointed like this.

Constantly getting up a few drunks falling down the stairs. Did not enjoy this concert. Sound was horrible. Nostalgic for what used to be one of the greatest and all time favorite artist. Will never pay to see her again. People from back would walk to front and take video and would block my view. Other than that i love the place. Well decorated, a.c works good. Workers there are very polite and professional. I will always look for concerts here this is my wife and myself's favorite spot! Love the bar area!
