The Birchmere gets my vote as the premiere location to enjoy outstanding Jazz. The Paul Taylor and Marion Meadows event was fantastic. They are great showmen and give their best at every show. The food was good at a good price.
This was the most fantastic performance I've seen in years! Marion Meadows & Paul Taylor were off the hook! I don't think a single person in the audience would disagree with me - they were on fire!!! Whatever you do - don't miss this show. You will love it!!!

The bands that performed were great. The band with the young men was truly inspiring. I specificall bought the tickets to see Chrisette Michelle and although she gave a good set I was disappointed in the amount of time she performed. Had I known she was only doing a sneak peak of 30 minutes, I would not have purchased the tickets.
I really enjoyed the show. ..The seating was a little uncomfortable. .but what can you expect for lawn seating...The price was cool too! Some acts were a little slow with there selections but overall a good show.
Intermission is to long. Host are long winded. Not enough of the Artist singing there signature songs. Caresette Meshelle did not sing "A couple of forevers.Last two event I have been to at Mablehouse Barnes Sucked!!
I enjoyed the entire concert, but Pieces of A Dream was the best by far. This was a great way to start my summer concerts tour.
This event was stellar. The acts, the fact that Wade Ford and the Catholic Church partnered this was all the better for me! It was excellent seating, acoustics, fun, byob and goodies! The crowd was great!
Outstanding venue & show. The best outdoor venue I've ever visited for this type of show. We enjoyed the crowd, the professionalism of the stage crew, the on-time performances of all the artists and the DJ. Marion Meadows & Bob Baldwin were okay! Chrisette Michelle was a mind-blower and Pieces of a Dream blew the roof off of the sucker. What a great evening.
Beautiful lineup of performers. Love the venue. Organized ! It was not a lot of noise like Chastain. Even the parking was organized .. easy to get in and out of the venue.
Overall the concert was great.; except for the sound sometimes. Music appeared to be loud and you could not hear the performers very well. I really enjoy this outdoor Venue more than others; because it is covered.
Amazing concert at spectacular venue. Marion Meadows, Chrisette Michele, Pieces of a Dream, Unanimous da Band and even Junior the host were all amazing. Money well worth spending. The concert was at least 4 hours+. Loved it!
TOO LONG, DRAWN OUT BEFORE MAIN ACT , LEFT EARLY VERY BORING
Concert was very relaxing. had a great time,.will plan to attend the next outing on next month, nice place to go and unwind,
All artists were fabulous. Joey Sommerville and Phil Perry are purified gold!! The venue was awesome.
It was a great concert. Phil Perry blew me away. Dj was great also
Wonderful artists...just the perfect venue! Attended with friends, enjoyed wine, cheeses, fruits, and nuts arranged on a TV tray used as a mini table at our seats :-) After the sunset, several 'mini tables' were aglow with candlel lights. Beautiful music, passionate artists, and perfect ambiance. We loved it!
Just wonder what happen to Marion Meadows, band ( Jabari, Will Brock & Chip Sherin). Marion Meadows seem to hold back, it seem like tribute to Phil Perry.

Jeff Lorber opened up and sounded great! Joey Summerville was raw and a modern day Miles Davis. Phil Perry had just recovered from surgery 11 days earlier. A true statement to his commitment to his trade. One of the original modern day crooners. Phil was as smooth as ever. Marion Meadows has been one of my smooth jazz artist for a number of years. His sound is unmistakable! This was basically reminiscent of a old time jazz session where the musicians would come up and play with each other. All I can say if you were not there you missed on of the best concerts I have attended in awhile!!! Kudos to Wade Ford and other sponsors!!
