The performances were excellent and thrilling to experience. The historical insight of the musicians and their lives was well presented. The play’s structure was inventive and engaging. Plus, the theater is a great place to see a show.

I applaud the performance of the actors! Unfortunately the back story wasn’t compelling. I get that they were from two different walks of life but needed to know more of their actual time together as performers. They finally go together and, poof, Maria is giving us a summary of their lives. Also, I didn’t find the choice of music compelling. I really wanted to love this and am sad it was lacking.
This show boasts a beautiful blend of acting and musical numbers. The two person cast work so well together. I went wanting to learn more about these rock n roll pioneers. The show is done wonderfully. Highly recommended!
