Mariah Carey Tickets

i am very disappointed about mariah's new yrs eve concert. I thought this was going to be a Big Event being that Mariah was playing at MSG which was 8 blocks from Times Square! Even though the show was scheduled for 9pm, i knew that it wouldn't start till at least 10, But she didnt come on until 11pm.....waiting was horrible because we had to listen to a DJ play music with the lights on which helped the crowd get more andmore intoxicated. When she finally came out, the crowd went nuts! But only for a short time because she played a few songs from her new album which no one knew and she had a outfit change breaks. Midnight came quick and she almost missed it because she was busy singing a bad song. Once 12am hit the concert seemed like one big high school dance on stage with the stage crew dancing the entire time. Nick Cannon looked like a loser swaying back and forth acting like a DJ once 2010 began. After the new yr i was really looking forward to her rocking the house with some classic Mariah #1's but to my disappointment she only sang 2 more songs, ending with Hero, and not even coming out for an encore! So i thought i was going to have an amazing time, but i didn't. i' ve seen mariah perform before and she has put on great concerts that i bragged about but this one was definitely not one of them. Dont get me wrong, it was much better than going to the same old house party or to the ratty old bar down the street, but it was not a concert that ill ever go to again on new yrs. I love Mariah but I know she let down a lot of her fans last night!

I enjoy the intro groups perfomance more than the show itself because we waited to long before the main perfomer to start and we were getting bore in our chairs....she should have sing more of the old hits as well.

I'm going to start with something nice...I was looking forward to seeing Mariah in Concert. She is one of my favorite artist and my husbands dream girl...if you know what I mean - lol. She has an amazing voice and I love her music. Now, her concert SUCKED big time. She was in New York on New Year's Eve and she dropped the ball ;). Her show started at 9pm and her opening acts were completely done by 10:15pm. She came on at 11:15pm and was just a complete mess. It was more like an impromptu performance that people paid big money for. She put no effort in making it a wonderful New Year's Eve at MSG! She started out with her Christmas song which I enjoyed then she sang shake it off which I also liked. After another song she went backstage to change and heartbreaker came on. She didn't sing that she had dancers dancing to it and finally she came out and belted a few notes. She spent most of the night wondering if it was midnight, she half lipsynched/sang her songs and she seemed to be a bit tipsy! Right before midnight she went backstage and then came out and shouted "hey its 15 seconds away...10, 9, 8!" The confetti was the best part of the night. She pranced around on stage for another 15 minutes with a champagne glass in hand then her hubby came out and dragged her off stage. Oh and she did say "see you at the after party ya'll"! No encore nothing. It was bad! I am highly disappointed with the concert. I will continue to listen to her music but I lost some love - BOOHOO!

Both opening bands were good. I loved the dj. However, MC did not take the stage till 11pm- 30 min after the dj set was over. She played about 8-9 songs and there was a lot of talking in between and at one point one of her songs were playing and the dancers were the only ones on stage. She also missed a few words in "emotions". She seemed "not there" during parts of the performance. She performed for a lil bit over an hr- with all the time wasted in between included. For a New Year’s Eve, actually for any show- her part was not up to par. I would not recommend paying to see MC live.

mariah was at her finest. her voice was absolutely fab.

My wife and I are not big fans of Mariah but we do enjoy all types of music and went to this show with a very open mind and a high expectation. This being a big New Years Eve show. Mariah took the stage at 11:00 and performed till approx 12:30, actually singing for less than one hour of that time. The crowd was game for a great night and every time the Garden got partying it was interupted with a costume change or some other Mariah distraction. Unfortunately the momentem never lasted for more than a couple of songs. The production and direction for a performer of this caliber was a joke. She looked completely lost on stage at some points, clearly indicated by her constantally playing with her earbuds to await direction from her crew. She played up the diva role to the max . At one point of the show calling out a member of her crew condesendingly after a microphone pack malfuction on her dress saying something to the effect that she would "smack her if it fell off of her again" followed up by a "you know I'm only joking remark". Totally inappropriate. When singing she sounded great but lacks stage presence and looks very awkward when doing so. The show was clearly not rehearsed enough. This show/performance falls way short of artist like Celine, Pink, Madonna etc.. She's best served as studio musician and not a performer.

Even though Mariah only performed for a hour and a half, it was still a fabulous show. Emotions was AMAZING! She really sang it like back in the 90s. Her voice is still here. Heartbreaker/Love Hangover was also another highlight. My only complaint is that the crew at MSG racially profiled my friend and I. We were six rows from the stage and along with everyone else, we were taking pictures and they singled us out. They threatened to kick us out unless we deleted the pictures... I truly felt as if it was because we were colored. We paid 1000 dollars for those tickets, I felt like we should have been able to get one picture at least. However, we didn't let that dampen out New Years! With no thanks to MSG, thank you Mariah! Your are amazing and keep on doing your thing!

This was the most amazing experience of my life! To be at Mariah's concert in NYC at MSG on New Years Eve...what more can be said!!! FANTASTIC!!!! It's MARIAH CAREY! She came out in all her greatness....gave amazing vocal performances....all LIVE! And OMG can she SING!!!!!

I love Mariah Carey but when she came almost an hour late and gave us barely an hour and a half of her time, I can't say I wasn't a little annoyed. But this was just a New Year's show and was not technically part of a tour (which is way better).

shes awesome, but the concert was too fast, I think she where late, so she had to rush! but it was great anyway

Mariah was great. The band was too loud at times and we could hardly hear her. She hit all the high notes which was great. It was too short.

Mariah Carey's performance was an hour late which means we lost out on atleast 30-45 min of her show. She was amazing but her show was poorly organized. I thought song selection could have been better. Overall I feel let down.

My husband and I attended Mariah's new year's eve concert and it was fantastic. Mariah was beautiful and sounded electric. It was great fun when her husband Nick Cannon joined in during the performance, Excellent crowd and venue. Staff were very helpful.

Mariah was very beautiful and in good physical and vocal shape. However, my party and I expected much more of the show. Mariah got on stage at 11:00pm and sang a few songs (only nine) in 1 1/2 hour. She killed time changing dresses and worrying about her physical apperance. In addition, we expected that she would sing many of her old songs(what did not happen).Trey Songz performance was very good...

I think her voice is amazing, but other then that I didnt like the concert. She didnt do that many songs. It was not worth $200 per ticket. I dont need to go to a Mariah Carey concert again!!!

Could be because the show was on new years eve, but she came out 2 hours than the stated time and sang for about an hour. She did ring in the new year with everyone. She admits that she is a diva. And the attitude shows.

I love Mariah Carey's music. But Mariah Carey the performer, not so much. Mariah had two opening acts that began at 9pm. And Mariah decided to take the stage at 11pm. For a New Year's Eve concert I expected her to ring in the New Year with us, but perhaps at the end of her show. As the New Year approached, they stopped whatever song they were doing to do the countdown (poorly, I might add). Then after the celebration of confetti, etc. all of her dancers and crew were onstage, and they never left for the remainder of the show (30 more minutes)! She continued to sing song after song with a bunch of people behind her just not doing anything! Her dancers didn't dance. It was so unorganized and a poor sight for a performer of her caliber. I did notice she lip synched at least two songs. At one point she had to ask for a microphone stand. It was clearly not rehearsed or anything. I feel very insulted as a fan who paid hard earned money and expected a whole lot more professionalism in the show. I will not be attending any more Mariah Carey concerts in the future. I'll still buy her records though. And I still love her. But i'll save my concert experiences to the likes of Lady Gaga and Madonna.

Mariah didn't come out until 11:00PM. We sat there for 2 hours watching various medicore talent. I am just glad that I didn't buy the higher-priced seats. I was expecting more for my money. Unfortunately 8 songs does not make a concert, in my opinion.

It took 2 hours for Mariah Carey to grace the stage. The two opening acts were fine but the dj for 1/2 hour was unnecessary. Mariah finally comes out after we waited for 2 hours. The set looked beautiful and her entrance was great, However, her show only lasted 75 minutes and during that time she had 2-or 3 costume changes lasting 10-20 minutes a piece. I am sure in total she was on stage for less than an hour. She didn't sign enough of her old songs. For the money I paid for the concert, other perfomers, Madonna, Janet Jackson, Celine Deion perform much longer. I would not see her again. I would stay home and lister to her records.
