The Mariachi was excellent, but the fair grounds need to space people to be much comfortable instead of packing people just to make extra money. But I will return to see them again

I was seating in the VIP Orchestra Pit on first row. The chairs were for kids size, and hard like you were sitting on rocks, moreover, touching the shoulder and arms of your neighbors both sides. We are adults and paying big money to be enjoying the concert. Why do we need to be seating like in prison waiting for your sentence. Why do not offer a better seats? Confortables seats with rest arms. Seats that are according to the kind of money that you paid. It is too late to ask for my money back. I am not going to pay Premium ticket, again, for this type of chair. Paying First Class and traveling on toilet seat!

This was our first time at the Mariachi Extravaganza and we were very impressed! The student mariachis were amazing, too! We love it and we'll be returning next year. Thank you for a fantastic performance!

Music was absolutely beautiful! I was so happy to see the younger generation carrying on the mariachi music. All the performances were spectacular and Mariachi Vargas was the best! I’ve been to the Mariachi Extravaganza on more than one occasion and it never lets me down. See you next year!

My first time attending a Mariachi Vargas concert. I was blown away at the performance. I really wasn't prepared for the spectacular performance! Wish they'd come down to the Rio Grande Valley! Still, the trip to San Antonio was worth it to see them!

We had front row seats BUT, all the smoke 💨 and flashing lights were a big letdown! We are used to a classy depiction of our beautiful mariachi music, not a Taylor swiftish experience. The smoke made it hard to take pictures and the swirling lights distracted the eye . We have attended countless Vargas concerts, starting 25 years ago and this is the first one we were disappointed with. Spend $1000 on tickets, paid for vip experience and did not get to meet and greet with our Vargas Mariachi friends. Complained to the promoter, she made lame excuses for their absence at the vip event. This is our first meet and greet where we didn’t get to interact with the Vargas members.

The show started with the Junior and High School Mariachi Band winners as well as the winner of the vocal contest. Then the Best Maiachi Band in the World followed with a great set of their songs and several classics. The house was really into it, singing along and even dancing in the aisles. Was a very good show! Will try to repeat.
