MARC BROUSSARD IN CONCERT:
Whether he's incorporating funk, blues, or R&B into his soulful pop sound, Marc Broussard always stays true to his Southern roots. Known for his unique brand of "Bayou soul" the singer-songwriter is a fiery performer, imbuing his tunes with enough passion and energy to make a river jump its banks. From laid back renditions of classics like "Home" to unique live interpretations of newer material like "Only Everything," Broussard never fails to make fans feel right at home with the easy-going vibe of his intimate live shows.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Born and raised in Louisiana, Marc Broussard's musical roots are closely linked to the state — his father Ted Broussard is a Louisiana Hall of Fame guitarist and former member of swamp pop group the Boogie Kings. After a stint with a Christian band in the early '00s, Broussard's solo career kicked off with several independent efforts that included 2002's Momentary Setback. In 2004, he released his major label debut Carencro on Island Records. The album, an homage to his childhood home of Carencro, produced several Top 40 hits on the US Adult Pop Songs chart, including "Where You Are." Since then Broussard has continued to release albums while touring extensively, including his participation in the 2007 Entertain the Troops tour in the Middle East. Back on the road, Broussard will treat fans to his signature good humor and extended sets of uplifting tunes on a string of upcoming tour dates.
FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:
"Marc really is an incredible talent who pours his heart into his blue-eyed soul. While it comes through on his recorded music, it's really evident when you see him live."
"He sings with such conviction and soul - that I damn near cried during a couple of songs. It is a complete privilege to see Marc play live."
"...each time he gets better and better. As usual, his brand of rock, soul and bluesy jazz killed the house. Whether he is singing a grinding rock song or a soulful ballad, the listener can feel each and every emotion."

Fabulous show, and we got to meet Mark after the performance in the lobby. I would go see him and his band again in a heart beat.
Basically, Marc Broussard was a hidden gem that we discovered at his concert in Knoxville, TN. While we had "heard"of him, my wife and I had no idea of what we were getting ourselves into. After streaming his music and hearing his voice prior to the concert, we knew it was going to be a great show. And he didn't disappoint! It was a great show.
Marc Broussard has always been an amazing singer and entertainer. It doesn’t seem possible but he keeps getting better and better!!
Love Tennessee Theater, come here about 6 times a year. Acoustics is normally awesome but as much as we LOVE Marc Broussard the acoustics were HORRIBLE. We could not understand any words he sang, it wasn't very good, very disappointing!
Marc was great as always. Venue is perfect setting for this type of performance. Highly recommend both performer and venue.
After the opening act, I knew we were in trouble! The talent of both groups was outstanding. The sound was not mixed well. The vocals were soft and hard to understand. The music was over the top loud and drowned out the vocals. We left early.
Lyric Theater beautiful! We've seen Marc every time he's come to Birmingham at various venues and he was amazing as always. A great date night! Loved the backup this year!
First time seeing and will go again and again! Marc has incredibly talented musicians in his band! He had Seth Walker open and love his music equally well! Great venue.
The purchase process of the tickets was great. There were absolutely no issues and I will use Ticketmaster in the future. As far as the concert is concerned, it was a great concert, my lovely wife and I greatly enjoyed it and we will see him again when we have a chance.
Marc is a wonderful performer, singer songwriter. This was his first show of the new tour. Only wish he played longer!
Marc has an amazing voice. This was a great show and I was only familiar with one song. So glad we went! Will see again!
First I would like say he will not disappoint you. His band is phenomenal . My first tmw seeing him. I saw some advertisements last year but didn’t make it. I caught him this year. I love his songs to his wife . He’s got soul ! Cant wait to see him next year. Ticket price was good for an amazing show.
The Bayou Soul King is amazing! Love his music. Exceptional stage presence.
Great location and fantastic concert. Marc Broussard and the great musicians playing with him absolutely slayed it!
Marc is a true R&B Legend and in this venue it was an even better experience. Man I was not aware of the Constellation Room before but if I see an artist that I enjoy there again I will jump at the chance. 10/10!
Nothing beats seeing this man live! His talent is beyond measure. So many different styles and his band takes it to a whole different level. I saw him open for Maroon 5 decades ago and fell in love with his sound. Live is an even better experience don’t miss out.
I have listened to Marc Broussard for almost a decade now. I love his deep, sometimes gravelly, sound. It makes his music even more soulful. My boyfriend had never heard his music until we prepared for the concert. This was a first live performance date for my man and me. We celebrated our new relationship listening to Marc and the band. It was a perfect evening together. Walking out of Neptune Theater in Seattle, we had complete strangers telling us we were a beautiful couple. We were carrying all that magic from the concert onto the street. Our smiles brought people into our happy, love filled orbit. Thanks for a fabulous evening, Marc ❤️
Marc and his band came out on fire and never let up. I had my daughter with me who is a huge Chris Stapelton fan, in her own words “Marc is way better than Chris” Very versatile voice and the live version of several songs were a little different than the recordings but they did not disappoint! I saw Chris Stapelton with willy and Cheryl last summer followed by Earth wind and fire with Chicago and each concert got cheaper each show got better. I saw Marc about 18 years ago when he was 24 and he has improved with age, very comfortable on stage and the entire band looked to be having a lot of fun being up there. I would go again tonight if they were still here.
The venue was amazing, first time seeing anyone there!! Please please bring Marc Broussard back again and advertise it more, it was by happenstance that I saw it on Facebook!!
Missed seeing him again. I came down with Covid the day before. Maybe the 3rd time will be the charm.
