Marc Anthony Concert Schedule and Tour
New York native Marc Anthony, born Marco Antonio Muniz to Puerto Rican parents, is the top-selling salsa artist of all time and has wowed fans across the globe for 20-plus years. In 2013 Anthony released 3.0, his first album of new salsa material in almost a decade. He spent the second half of 2013 on his "Vivir Mi Vida" world tour, refocusing his concert setlists on upbeat salsa material and creating a party-like atmosphere for fans who bought tickets. Anthony released his debut album, "When the Night Is Over," in 1991, and immediately found success when its single "Ride on the Rhythm" topped Billboard's dance music charts. In the years that followed, he released a mix of English- and Spanish-language albums, occasionally crossing into the pop mainstream but always keeping a foot in his salsa roots. It's been a wildly successful route, resulting in more than 30 million albums sold worldwide, a pair of Grammy Awards, and three Latin Grammy Awards.
He puts on a great show. Dancing the entire performance! He knows how to get the audience involved. I would certainly go to see him again. And his live band was also amazing!
I would like to start off by saying that I truly love MarcAnthony & his God gifted voice. Everytime there's a venue that I can get to I'm there! Yesterday I was quite surprised to see that the arena was NOT full to capacity as I've seen at other places, for example Madison Square Garden. I loved that he took it back to his 2nd album and to current, and of course as a very PROUD LATINA, I appreciated every second of it. Now for the but part, my husband is of white & african american decent and MarcAnthony to our surprise did not sing one song in english for his english speaking audience. Thank God my husband partly understands the language and he lets the music alone drive him to move to a dance. I will faithfully support MarcAnthony like I said to any venue that I can get to now and in the future, because his voice is incredible and the lyrics hit the heart.
Show was awesome, but started later than expected.. Overall i Love Marc Anthony!! Excellent performer...
I've gone to see Marc twice in Atlantic City in the last two years. He was terrific in the last two shows. At this event he looked tired and did not sing my favorites. He came out 1 hour late, I understand he had came from Europe. I was a bit disappointed. IHe band plays wonderfully but I did not pay to hear them play more than to hear you sing. I love you as a singer/actor. But Marc please I went to work the next day with only 3 hours sleep at least give me something worth staying up for. I think this is going to be my last show.
Marc Anthony is one of the best entertainers I have ever seen. He always gets the crowd going and there is never a dull moment. He is so charismatic. He did an awesome job performing his oldies but goodies. He never ceases to amaze me. That man can sing anything and still sound good. He loves his fans and was definitely not afraid to show it. I will always go to see him everytime he's in town. He rocked the show!!!!!
One of the reasons I love Marc Anthony's concerts is that he has no other entertainment other than his voice and his music. He is a great singer that need nothing else. He also has great energy that transmits to the audience and makes you want to stand up and dance. I will recommend it to anyone.
