Heralded as one of Polynesia's #1 commercial recording artists, Maoli has been credited with over 21 #1 Regional Island Reggae Hits. Since their debut in 2007, the group has been steadily on the rise, having performed in at least 42 of the 50 states, as well as New Zealand, Australia, Mexico, Guam, and Saipan Territories.
Maoli's music has matured into a sound and style constantly evolving to reflect and meet the eclectic taste of the group themselves and their loving fans. Maoli has developed their own unique sound by fusing the elements of Country, R&B, Soul, Acoustic, Rock & Roll, and Reggae. This "Country Reggae" has been labeled as heartfelt, uplifting, feel-good music with an impressive reach, enabling the group to sell out the largest venues in the state of Hawai'i.
At The i-Heart's Island Music Awards in 2020, Maoli won the "Album of The Year" award for "Sense of Purpose", along with the prestigious "Group of the Year" award. They were able to replicate that success in 2021 winning the 'Album of the Year' award for "The Breakthrough," as well as 'Song of the Year' for "My Reason." Among those awards include a 2020 Na Hoku Hanohano Award for "Reggae Album Of The Year." It's only through tireless perseverance and attention to artistry, that they were proudly able to achieve these awards completely independently.
The saga continues as the group continues to release a new, genre-spanning single every two weeks as a part of the Maoli Music Overload project.
It’s good you can still bring blankets for sitting on the lawn, BUT the food prices was outrageous.Security was tight which was great. Never have fights. Everyone was singing along and having a great time!! That’s how concerts suppose to be! Best concert can’t wait for a next one.
All performers were awesome. I would attend another Maoli concert. All-in-all the concert was well organized from smooth entrance to seating. Signage was visible.
I really went to see the New Zealand band 'L.A.B.'! They were fabulous, wonderful to see in a small venue. Feel privileged. Can't comment on Maoli, as I left before he started, as I'm not familiar with the artist.
The Maoli concert was one for the books! Glen brought down the house with all new songs from MMO album. It was worth the wait! I would see it over again!
L.A.B was amazing! Their energy was so intense. I know they made an unforgettable impression on Americans and definitely made new fans! Aotearoa music forever! This was my 5th Maoli show and this was even better than the rest.
Venue was awesome, drinks priced nice and food looked amazing… Maoli put on a great show,,, openers were pretty good as well.
Best concert I’ve been to! The Venue and obviously Maoli himself was amazing!!! His band also gave an amazing performance. Overall there was never one dull moment
Maoli never disappoints.... another amazing performance! The venue was small and intimate and I always feel lucky to see my favorite artists perform at the HOB.
More than I expected, their sound and talented group of guys put on a great musical experience!
Everything was just fantastic, the venue, the organized staff, friendly and helpful staff. The music was just the icing on the cake. I absolutely love Maoli and was super excited to see them at the House of Blues Anaheim. Overall the experience was awesome and I enjoyed my evening very much.
The show was great but venue too small and tight fit especially when it’s a full house.
