Great music that gets back to the basics. Good lyrics with great guitar riffs.
Bro this was seriously the best concert I've been to. Nita was a great opener and brought a ton of energy and face melting and don't get me started on Mammoth. PHENOMENAL..point blank. They sounded exactly like if not better than the CD, absolutely great music.
Wolfie's Mammoth WVH sounded great and his acoustic version of "Distance"was Amazing! Unfortunately, the lights from the stage made it tough to see the band members perform. I was very disappointed in the venue's preparation for the concert. We, along with many others, missed the opening act, Nina Strauss because Bogart's was not prepared for the large crowd. The security line was very backed up even after one hour of the doors opening at 7 pm. The venue only had one bartender working the upstairs bar and the lines were long. I had been waiting 8 years, while my daughters went to UC, to see a concert at Bogart's and now will not go back again. It was a very disappointing concert experience for an opportunity to see a Great Band.
Our 1st time there. Great show. Great performers. Nita Strauss did a little meet and greet at the merch table after her set so we were able to get pics and autographs. The only concerns I have are: ADA seating I feel should be elavated. It is fenced off, but standing fans can stand right in front the fence, against the fence. So wheelchair bound fans cant see well. That was our seats. Not in a wheelchair, but can't stand for long periods of time, so view was blocked more than it should be. Also wasn't much lighting used as far as an actual spotlight on the artist. Plenty of other lights though. At the end of the day, was a nice venue. Easy in and easy out. Friendly staff.
What started off as a long wait in the cold rain ended up being such a great night! Nita Strauss started us off and was awesome! She is one hell of a guitarist and brings such great energy. Mammoth was freakin awesome as usual. This was my 4th Mammoth show, and he has not disappointed at any of them. He played a mix of stuff off both albums. He seems genuinely happy to be there and appreciative of his fans. It's funny that being such a big fan of his parents and his uncle Alex, I get this sense of pride when I see Wolfgang perform. I wish he would have played Erase Me, but it was a great show and I will go again when he is back in town.
Wolf was so humbled by the enthusiasm and energy from the crowd. I respect the fact that he wants to make a name for himself on his own merits and not use his dad’s name to advance or gain popularity. If you go to see him hoping to hear some VH music that’s not going to happen. Wolf has his own arsenal of well written and composed music that will blow you away..! Highly recommend anyone who maybe thinking to go see Mammoth, Just Do It.! You won’t be disappointed 🤘🏻
Bogarts had everyone standing out in the rain in a mile long line taking forever to get anyone inside. and the location has NO PARKING like it did before all the crazy apartment construction. Never again.
The show itself? Five stars. Mammoth and Nita Strauss (what we saw of her) were both phenomenal. Could not have asked for better from either of them. Where Bogarts failed miserably, though, is entry into the show. One star. There were other security folks outside, but only two people with wands, neither of which seemed to have an ounce of hustle in their bones. We got in line at about 7:30 and didn’t make it inside until 8:20, halfway through Nita’s set. I’m 100% in favor of tight security, but when you have a seemingly sold out crowd, open that second door on the other side and have more than two people with wands, so concert-goers don’t sit outside in the cold and rain missing half the show.
Awesome band. Very talented, down to earth and just plain fun. Would (and am) see them again.
Mammoth was awesome to see, Wolfgang sounded great and was worth going to. Definitely will see them when they come back around.
The band sounded great! Wolfgang is amazing and was very appreciative of the packed house coming out to see them. I wish they would have played a little longer but I think that about every concert I go to. I can’t wait to see them again!
Amazing artists, merch, venue, and beverages; reserved parking was confusing and a waste of money
Mammoth was note-perfect, amazing, and the sound was great! He is truly his fathers son. AAA+++ Nita was good, but Wolf ate her lunch.
From the opening act Nita Strauss to Wolfgang's second encore song the show was exciting. Both bands were full of seasoned musicians and supported their bosses well.Nita and Wolfgang both mentioned how much they enjoyed playing for Detroit audiences. I would very much go see either of these bands again given the opportunity.
We’ve seen them the last three or four years and we think that they are great. So awesome in concert. Can’t wait to see them again. I bought the tickets for my husband for his birthday and he loved it.
Awesome show! Sound was amazing and the venue was awesome! The band and crowd were very engaged for the entire show. Again AAA+++
They are incredible live I can’t wait to see them again
What can you say, Wolfgang Van Halen is an unbelievable musician! This is my third time seeing them in concert, but the first time they've been headlining. It was great to see them do an hour and a half plus set. So good! Standing room only in my opinion is the best way to see a band. Can't wait for Mammoth to come back to Indiana again. Nita Strauss was the opening band, unbelievable! She's a ferocious beast on guitar, so to see both of those bands in one ticket, was great.
I've seen many shows over the years & this one was different for many reasons. Eddie Van Halen is my absolute #1 hero. Seen Van Halen with every singer. I remember the day I heard about Wolf being born. How much Eddie gushed over him. I've listened to Mammoth but seeing them was an experience like no other. It was like Eddie was there saying "I told you so,the kid is a monster!". Just seeing Wolf's hands on that flat black stealth guitar took me back to his dad. It was the most emotional experience I've ever had during a show. Wolf was able to give me the closure I needed to feel comfortable about Eddie. I shed many tears that night. I left knowing that the legacy that Eddie left is strong and thriving through Wolf. I take great comfort and solice in knowing that. Much love and thank you for giving me that deep of an experience Wolf. I'm so proud of what you're doing and the person you are! See you again soon ✌️❤️
I really liked NIta Strauss as a guitar player but I was there to see Mammoth and all I can say is wow that guy is so so talented and has an amazing voice I loved the whole show it was one of the best shows I have seen in awhile
