Talented cast don't need to spend all the extra money going to Broadway. Impressive.
I really enjoyed the show. It was broadway on Staten Island. Great cast!
Hard to believe that a volunteer production company could put on such a professional “Broadway Quality” show. Congratulations to all involved. You were great.
The performers were fabulous...singing was outstanding! Even my five year old granddaughter was singing along and clapping throughout....just an joyful presentation!
The entire production was meticulous. Every single performer gave 1000%. The energy was electric. We were drawn in to the “experience” from the first scene. The choreography was fluid and the sets were creative and engaging. All in all it was a joyful afternoon at the theater!
Lots of talented performers but the woman who played the mother (sorry, I’m bad with names) had an absolutely amazing voice. Her performance of The Winner Takes It All brought down the house. I saw the show on Broadway many years ago and she was certainly the equal of anyone on that stage. Bravo!
From the start to finish this show was amazing! The cast and crew made this show perfection. The music, the voices, the stage crew, I could go on and on. Thanks for a great night out and for coming to Staten Island!
The show was great! It was entertaining and the acting/singing was very good. Highly recommend!!
Sound system was terrible. Cheap concessions. So nice to receive a flower and champagne on Mother’s Day.
Missed a lot of the dialogue due to lack of microphones on the actors.
The show was done very well. However, most of the cast was overweight and in this day where everybody looks at everything in an overly PC Manor, I, however, do NOT think it looks great; and neither did my wife. People wish to be entertained and they are willing to spend the money for said entertainment. Notwithstanding, the actors should be in better shape. Running around on stage with outfits that allow their fat to hang out is not appealing, not is it proper! Although I am not from the generation of the 50s, we need a return to that era... when actors "looked the parts" they played. The show was okay other than that.
The show was warm, entertaining and lovable. We both loved it and the performers did a great job.
It was like a local middle school group playing a Broadway Show. I travel more than an hour to get there, I would not do it again.
The venue is great. Mama Mia cast was outstanding-very high energy. We went with another couple and had a great time. The end of the play was fantastic.
I guess there is a difference between community theater and a national/traveling Broadway show. It was painful listening to the Donna character try to hit those high notes.
This is our favorite play, and my daughter took me for Mother's Day weekend. They did a great job. The singers had beautiful voices. Well done!
Great singing, little boy was a hoot. The opening was a little long.
Wonderful performance! Each Mamma Mia performance I have seen was a different experience. Actors really make each character their own.
Mama Mia features the music of the Swedish group ABBA. This is the third time I have seen the show since 1999 when it was first performed in London's West side. Songs are the same and storyline is the same but each performance has it's own spin. This was by far the best performance I have seen. This was the farewell performance tour of the musical. I have heard that a sequel (MAMA MIA, the PARTY) is in the works featuring other ABBA songs.
