BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Mali Music, a.k.a. Kortney Jamaal Pollard, began playing music in early childhood, and by age five he was already an accomplished multi-instrumentalist. Drawing inspiration from gospel music and soul legends like Sam Cooke and Otis Redding, he made his album debut as Mali Music in 2008 with the independently released The Coming. He followed up in 2009 with The 2econd Coming LP, receiving praise from critics and landing a deal with RCA records. He made his major label debut on the imprint in 2014 with the highly anticipated Mali is...LP, another impressive slice of gospel and hip hop-influenced R&B that has fans eagerly awaiting his upcoming tour dates.
Such a blessing. Mali Music came there with a purpose and she showed out! This young man of God sang his heart out and let God use him. Love MALI MUSIC
My worship experience with Mali Music was everything. I love his worship. It's so genuine and authentic he just makes you fall in love with God all over again. He puts his all into it and gets intimate with the Lord and takes us with him and for that I am always greatful l to him. I would defiantly go and see him again and again and again...I love you Mali and wish you all the best in everything that you do.
Mali is an amazing artist---he sings, writes, and produces**enough said ! His voice is so melodic and soothing--he's easily my favorite artist. He inspired us with lyrics and songs---he even shared his pain while talking about one of his favorite cousins that he recently lost to Sickle Cell. His music evokes so much emotion---he's a gift to this generation. What touched me most was that he referenced his Bible while on stage...:) He sang all of his classic hits and even spinned a few new tracks from his upcoming album. He came off stage and had an audience member sing *Contradiction*....I was stunned he was so down to earth and personable. Can't wait until the album drops !!
Great atmosphere. Great vibe. Great crowd. Mali Music blessed me! He came and delivered!
Such an amazing Artist his talent is beyond great from his amazing vocals to his ability to play keyboard while performing a few of the tracks.
Mali is an awesome artist and an even better performer. He kept the crowd going. I will always go to his concert so long as he is in the Boston area. Come back Mail!! The only thing that was kind of frustrating was that the doors opened later than 7pm.
The concert itself was amazing! It was a night to remember. The subs, speakers for the lower medium sounds, were too loud. The base kept the whole room vibrating. That didn't discourage me from moving closer, fortunately the venu sold earplugs.
Great energy! Live vocals that are just as good as the recording.
The show was amazing!! I would recommend Mali Music to all of my friends! The only thumbs down was the music the venu played before the show actually started, I don't think they looked to see that there were kids in the crowd so they played lots of swears. It was also a Christian show.
Mal's stage presence and energy was amazing. Best of all, his voice sounds better in person, can that happen! Lol. His live vocals were so raw, something I've never experienced at a live event. The Dj and drummer added to the energy. All 3 vibed together so well, you can tell they were made to play music as a unit.
I enjoyed myself thoroughly but was disappointed at not knowing there were no seats. I have never been to a show and stood in line to get in for an hour and then stood the entire show. Very few chairs which should have been included in the description for this venue.
Great show. Too much bass but ultimately I regained my hearing.
He's performace was beyond amazing. He came out with great energy and uplifted the area with all he's music that showed and expresed so much.
Usually, I do not go to concerts in the middle of the week because of work, but I really wanted to check Mali Music out. I am glad to say that it was worth it! His opening act, Echelon, was a good start and got the crowd going. Mali Music preformed for a solid hour and did all his popular songs along with some new from his upcoming album. I am excited for his new album to drop!
Mali Music definitely did his thing. I love his connection to the people and how he came to have a good time His forerunner was also enjoyable
Mali Music was awesome. He did a live performance and he actually sounds just like he does on the radio. I was absolutely blown away. He was high energy and kept us engaged for the entire show.
He sounds just like his tracks, but he sang live! He's extremely interactive and it was such a blessing to see him live for my birthday!
Mali Music is absolutely amazing! Very talented and anointed man! I would tell any and everyone to support him!
This was my first time seeing Mali in concert and he was absolutely amazing!!!!! If I could rate him with more stars I would. The only downfall is that there were not any of his music for sale. But other than that I would see him again and again. Very humble and down to earth person. He knows just where he belongs and where he fits in!!!! Go for it Brother your greater is coming!!!
Mali was a great concert. The room felt like a club scene and was up close and personal. As a former recording engineer, I think the vocals could have been clearer in the middle of the room. It was hard to make out his words. Well worth going and I would go again for sure.
