Maks & Val on Tour
Sometimes there's a special communication between siblings that can almost seem like a form of telepathy, and that's the kind of connection brothers Maks & Val have when they take the stage together to display their dance expertise. In their live performances, the pair — whom the public came to adore through their long tenure on TV's Dancing with the Stars — combine their fleet-footed moves with eye-catching visuals that dovetail perfectly with the brothers' sense of style. And when Maks & Val bring their respective spouses, Peta Murgatroyd and Jenna Johnson, on stage as their dance partners, it takes the brilliant, storytelling choreography to a whole other level. Viewers can expect an entertaining program filled with sizzling dance moves, playful antics and high-energy fun.
Who are Maks & Val?
Maksim and Valentin Chmerkovskiy — better known as Maks & Val — are celebrities of the popular dance world. The brothers were born in Ukraine, where ballroom dance was part of their school curriculum, and they relocated to Brooklyn, New York, as children. After competitive ballroom careers, the duo rose to mainstream fame through Dancing with the Stars. Over the years they've been seen everywhere from Broadway to the Netflix series Fuller House, performing styles from Latin to swing, all with contemporary flair. But starting with the second season of DWTS, Maks & Val danced their way into the hearts of millions with their deft and dynamic style. They were on the show for an incredible 14 seasons. Since then, the suave siblings have been taking their terpsichorean skills straight to the public in a live setting, on tours that allow them to show off their passion and precision on stage, as the palpable energy in the room bounces back and forth between Maks & Val and their delighted audiences.
Amazing performance by the three stars and all their backup dancers. This is my second performance (previous in San Diego) and I will continue every time they are in town
Awesome!!! Val's interpretation of "Chip-n-Val" and Max's "Magic Max" were jaw dropping great. Love those brothers. Hearing their confidential stories was sweet. Now that I know Peta started off in ballet, it makes total sense. She is so fluid. She is an amazing dancer!!!
Amazing is an understatement. My niece is a tap/hip hop dancer and I took her and she was so inspired to start ballroom. We were so excited to see some of our favorites from SYTYCD to Dancing with the Stars. I had so much fun watching my niece in awe with these dancers and I could the inspiration shine in her eye. It's moment like this that are unforgettable.
We have seen several DWTS related tours and this one was the best of an excellent set of shows. My wife's family came from the Ukraine so we have always felt great pride in our "cousins'" success and the values they live by. Also, the Fox Theatre has become our favorite venue. We live in the the High Desert so going to Staples Center, Segerstrom, the Disney or Irvine Meadows makes for a long night. The Fox has great staff, easy parking, plenty of dining options and is an hour's drive for us.
This was the second Maks and Val on tour for us. PETA really added to the show and it was even better this year. Can’t wait to go again!!
Amazing, thoughtful, precise dancing, costumes, humor! Stories through a couple of the dances seemed cathartic & profound for them. Their love for the audience is felt throughout. Sound/voices were a bit blaring & unclear a few times- not sure if the mics or speakers were the problem. But, the performance & artistry are just top notch!
This show was great. I wasn't expecting much, only went because I am a fan. I was pleasantly surprised the show was insightful, entertaining and the time flew by which is a good indicator. The only negative would be about the venue. The sound people did an awful job with so much bass that you sometimes could not understand the word s. I would definitely go see any show that these talented performers put together
Speech less. Awesome show. Maks,Peta and Val are the perfect trio. I hope there is another event in the future.
Was not expecting the high levels of narcissistic descriptions of their journey of self-discovery. Dancing was unimaginative and uninspiring. My husband fell asleep during one of the dance numbers. Very disappointed as I was a fan of theirs. Would not go to see this show again.

So nice to get to know Maks, Peta & Val - to hear their stories. The contemporary dancing was very moving! Loved their show and would certainly recommend it to other Dancing with the Stars fans!
Maks, Val, and PETA were super. They told a very nice family story, but the dancing was exceptional.
The venue feels very intimate and doesn't appear to have a bad seat, based on our 2 visits. Maks and Val never disappoint, so that goes without saying!
I cannot thoroughly express how amazing this show was. Well, it was so good that I am considering buying a plane ticket so I can go see it again! Choreography: A+++, Music:A+++, Maks, Val & Peta: Absolutely the BEST! A must see, worth every penny and then some.
The show was a real life love story in motion before the audience's eyes of MAKS & PETA & the love of family with VAL through artistic choreography. Well worth going.

Confidential with Max, Peta and Val was an entertaining and high energy show of music, incredible dancing and great staging. The costumes, the back stories and especially the dancing and costumes were outstanding in color and effects. Seeing these performers in-person on the stage was more electrifying than when I would watch them on "Dancing with the Stars." I highly recommend this show and felt like I had the most enjoyable evening I remember in a long time.

What an amazing show! Loved learning the life story through the dance. The storyline was so much fun to follow and of course the dancing was incredible!
I purchased the Meet and Greet and it was an amazing experience! They were all so down to earth, genuine and extremely nice! Beautiful inside and out! They began their show promptly at 8 p.m. and they had one break of exactly 15 minutes and they were all back on stage! It was nonstop until 10 p.m.! Two months ago I watched the DWTS Tour and I will never do that again. Very disappointed. I will definitely continue to support these three! Just an amazing performance where the memory of it remains freshly embedded in your mind for weeks on end! They were all the greatest!! So very entertaining and talented! They interacted with the audience too. It was so much fun!
