If your debating don't debate any longer this is a great show very entertaining and David has you laughing a lota lot of fun and David includes you a lot of people in show would go see him again with no hesitation
About 10-12 tricks were performed that all seemed like a bit simple for a magician that just came off 4 years at Vegas. Granted the stage was extremely small and maybe a better venue for this acclaimed illusionist/magician could have and should have been selected. His memory was impeccable. He knew all the names of those that assisted him in the performance. He was very personable and spoke eloquently and mixed in a bit of humor, however, we felt a bit let down by the performance and felt that the high price (over $160 for two of us) for a short hour long and much drawn out magic show was too much. The show without the talking could have been done in about 20 minutes. The Fusion was not a good mix. I think I would have loved his show had it been on a much larger stage.
Spent our 16th anniversary in SLT, and had an amazing evening watching David Goldrake's Magic at The Loft! He was amazing! Very impressed by his magic, personality and the ability to remember the names of the audience members that participated! It was funny watching his interaction when there was an "over-achiever" audience member! Our favorite illusion was with my husband's (and 2 other) wedding ring. Still amazed and baffled! If you are a sceptic, you must see this show. It will change your mind!
Experienced magic and wonder. Though I forgot the magicians name he was amazing. He was Native American. Best card tricks I've ever witnessed.

Matt Marcy was terrific - engaged and involved the audience and kept us laughing throughout the show. Our group was my husband and myself, son and daughter in law, and three grandsons. We all had a wonderful time. The boys (6, 10 and 12) were so excited - they bought Matt's video on the art of magic and watched it later - it inspired and taught and they loved it. I highly recommend dinner on Fisherman's Wharf followed by this great show.
The performance overall was good. However the theater is very small and any disruptions from people needing to use the restroom or otherwise are felt and seen by everyone. They host asks everyone to exit to the right if they need to excuse themselves however that’s nearly impossible if your all the way left and have to crawl over 15 people. Especially if you have children. This is no fault of the performer or the parents. It’s promoted as family friendly. The theater should promote the show for children 7 or older. Or an age they feel is appropriate. The show itself is also not structured to entertain young kids. Lots of jokes that go over their heads and not enough visual wow to keep them interested. Again this falls on the theater to properly market the show.
I grew up when magic shows were popular on TV and saw David Copperfield live as a child and I remember all the excitement and wonder that came with all of it. This show brought those feelings right back! My 8 year old daughter and I attended this show, and I must say this was some of the best money I've ever spent on an experience for either of us. Robert Hall is a magician for all ages, and his tricks are new and absolutely mind-blowing. There is so much audience involvement, and it is such a close, intimate setting, that you feel that you are involved in all his tricks. I cannot speak highly enough of this venue or the magician. I got this on a Groupon but I would definitely pay full price any time to see it again. Go see it, you will not regret it!

My boyfriend and I went for date. He normally can figure out the trick but he was stumped. I lus Robert Hall is hilarious and did a great job creating more magically memories for the kids in the audience.
We went as a family for my husbands birthday , 9 of us all ages, and we LOVED it! It was amazing magic and great comedy in a smallish intimate setting! Lots of audience participation! Will definitely come back!
Great comedy, amazing magic and fun for the whole family. Small venue, so seating is not an issue when it comes to the best view. Interactive experience. Rotating acts weekly, so I’m not sure how the others are, but Rob Hall was awesome. My 7 year old daughter loved it and couldn’t stop talking about the show for days. Will definitely be going back to watch the others!
The Loft Theater is a really intimate place to see a show, so definitely check it out regardless of the act. The Magic Fusion show was really fun for both parents and children. My son was singing Matt's jingle the next day. My kids are ages 5 and 7 and had a good time and remained engaged the entire time. You have a better chance of being picked for audience participation if you're sitting on the aisle.
The whole family loved! He is as much a comedian as a magician.
My family was looking for something different to do during our recent Monterey getaway, and I stumbled across this show within walking distance of our hotel. We like magic (we're frequent visitors to the Magic Castle in Hollywood, like to watch Penn & Teller: Fool Us, etc.), so decided to take a chance. The theater is nicely laid out and I don't think there's a bad seat in the house. We sprung for VIP tickets (an extra ten bucks each) which put us in the back but gave us round tables to hold the drinks that they conveniently sell in the lobby. The show itself was pretty standard--I had set myself up for the kind of show you'd see on a cruise ship and I wasn't wrong. Kalin & Jinger have the personality and the skills for stage magic, and Kalin performed some impressive sleight of hand tricks. Kalin's mentalism, and the finale "cutting a woman in half" were less good, but the most important thing is that my kids had a good time. In summary, I think the show was worth the price and I'm glad we did it.

Matt was hilarious! One of the best magic shows I have ever seen. Great combination of magic, comedy, and some good improv with the audience. I went with my two kids, aged 10 & 12 and it was perfect for them - no foul language, humor for them and adults without crossing any lines. This show was better than magician shows I've seen on the strip for tons more money. I highly recommend him, and I would even go see him again!

Magic Fusion was the perfect show for our boys, who are 8 and 5! And we enjoyed the show too. Matt Marcy's magic talents and quick wit would be hard to beat anywhere.
It was a great show! Went with a friend and our sons and the kids were amazing with the magic. I would definitely recommend seeing the show! Mark was great!
