I HAVE BEEN TO THIS EVENT SINCE DAY ONE. AND I WILL CONTINUE TO ATTEND AS LONG AS IT EXISTS. IT IS AN AMAZING TRIBUTE TO A WOMAN THAT DIED MUCH TOO YOUNG, WHO WAS IN INSPIRATION TO ALL HER PLAYERS , AS WELL AS ALL PEOPLE. NOT TOO MENTION THE FACT THAT WE GET TO SEE 2 GAMES OF OUTSTANDING WOMANS BASKETBALL. NO BETTER WAY TO SPEND A SUNDAY AFTERNOON. ALSO THE HEALTH AWARENESS SEMINAR IS GREAT FOR ALL PEOPLE TO CHECK THERE HEALTH.
The event was excellent. The level of play was fast, intense, and totally exciting. My son attends St. John's while I am a UConn grad. My fiancée dressed 1/2 and 1/2, St. John's - UConn. Will attend again next year.
I love Women's Basketball. I greatly enjoyed the games.
Took my daughter and bff to their 1st college game. What an amazing event, this will be something that I will make a yearl tradition. The girls loved it!
A small group of friends meet each year in NYC to attend the Maggie Dixon Classic. Some come from Hartford by train and others come from NC. We spend the weekend in the city taking in fine dining, a Broadway show and then the game. Good time had by all. A UCONN women's basketball games are the best!!
I have been to this event four times. The games were everything I expected. The food selection was poor. Most stations were closed. In the past I remember being offered sliced deli items, sausages & peppers. You could not even get a soft hot pretzel. This will not prevent me from attending next year...but I will eat before I get there.
Great game, great seats, great cause, both games were great,
An excellent cause with some excellent teams participating for a GREAT cause.
It was a nice event to take the family to. We will definitely go next year
My daughter is obsessed with basketball- especially UConn and Brianna Stewart. Being able to watch her play from the third row for 25.00 at MSG made her 10th birthday spectacular . We found the MSG staff so friendly and the event very organized! Will definitely come again next year!
First game was good, a close contest between St. John's and Texas A&M. Second game was not so good, unless you're a UCONN fan - it was a blowout between Cal and the Huskies. The organizers have always done a good job of scheduling games with local favorites like UCONN, St. John's and Rutgers, but it seems to be getting away from its original roots. Army used to play one of the games of the double header, but not anymore. The heart health fair, which is supposed to be a cornerstone of the event, was small this year, out of the way and not very inviting or convenient. Still, it's one of the best events for fans of college basketball and/or women's athletics and I hope the tradition continues for years to come.
Not basketball fans but we booked tickets from the UK, mainly just to experience 'The Garden' whilst in NYC. It was a wonderful experience, full of 'over the top' entertainment, as well as 2 exciting basketball games.
Enjoyed the games & will always support the Maggie Dixon Classic, however, I'm tired of seeing UConn. I know they are the defending champs but it get's dull watching blowouts. I prefer to see close competitions like the St. John's Texas A&M game was. Also, would like a warning that I will be surrounded by UConn fans. They can be downright rude. Would prefer them on on side of the arena & everyone else on the other.
Excellent event . It is great to see womens D-1 basketball played in the worlds best venue! Go UCONN
Uconn at the garden was great. Seats were fine. New garden beautiful.

A small water bottle was a security risk for msg plus a pat down equal to prison visted. Plus Univ. Of Conn fans need to stand for first basket 4:30 mins later in a neutral court. THANKS A LOT 4 years never again
This has become an annual event for me and several of my BFF. Early train ride in the morning, take in a few sites thru out the City....then great hours of Basketball with some of the greatest fans in New England.
Great time to come to a game. Seats were great, 7th row even with key, also seeing the tree and times square. Had excellent warm weather. UCONN beat a gutsy Cal team. Just too much talent. Great talented little young break dancers for entertainment too.
Fun day, reasonable prices and awesome seats. Would definitely do it again. It was a great day to reunite with my friends from high school.
