  • Voice spot on, passionate, engaging & classy

by Concert Junkie on 8/18/25The Magnolia - El CajonRating: 5 out of 5

Macy Gray has still got the pipes, charisma, passion, grace & completely engaged with her audience. At one point, I had tears in my eyes, listening to her singing, like she was listening directly to each person in that audience. I say I loved her performance? Yes absolutely!

  • Amazing Show!

by ND on 8/18/25The Magnolia - El CajonRating: 5 out of 5

Macy Gray sounded great! Every song was fantastic and the audience was singing along the entire time. The Magnolia is a great place for a show. 5 stars all around!

  • Amazing Concert

If you ever get a chance, go and see Macy Gray. Not only a great live performance but she is very funny, a real entertainer. Loved the whole concert from start to finish. I took my 16 year old daughter and she had just as much fun as I did. Highly recommend!!

  • Macy Gray ROCKS

by Margi on 8/5/25Old National Centre - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

First of all, I love Old National Center (Will always be the Murat to me) and the Egyptian Room is beautiful! We had way better seats than I realized, they were to the right of the stage in an upper part, seats were so comfortable and the bartender came to you. I will say that I was HIGHLY disappointed in the turn out, the crowd was so small for such an amazing artist. I expected it to be packed, I think highly of Macy's talent, on the flip side, it felt like a small intimate concert just for us so that was pretty cool. She sang her newer songs for the first part and her first album the second half, I wish she would have spent more time on the older songs but that is just me. She is spectacular no matter what she is singing. I also really enjoyed the opening act, Terra Renae. She had great energy and a beautiful voice. I loved that her husband was her "band"and that he is a Physician and she is a Nurse Practitioner!!!

  • FIRST TIMER

by LONNIE LOVES MUSIC!!! on 8/2/25Rating: 5 out of 5

This was my first time seeing her in concert and she did not disappoint!!!....it was a small crowd and she played for us. The, On How Life Is, 25th anniversary of her debut album for which she won a grammy for. it was beautiful, she was beautiful, her costumes she wore, just everything. I didn't know what to expect but I was willing to find out and I'm so glad I did. Her last song before exiting the stage she said was a new for her. She played Alicia Keys' no one and it sounded really nice!!!.....I'll be at her next concert when she comes back again, Good job Macy!!!

  • Terrible

by Mike on 7/31/25Fillmore Minneapolis presented by Affinity Plus - MinneapolisRating: 1 out of 5

I was in row 3. She might have been wasted, I don't know. She played 3 covers, poorly. When she played her album (25 th anniversary) it was bad and the songs where about 2 minutes long, vs longer than on the album, which is normal. The band was good, especially the bass player. The venue was great. There were no spotloghts on her so her face was dark and un recognizable.

  • Macy Gray Electrified The Pageant

by CahlPryceMom on 7/29/25The Pageant - Saint LouisRating: 5 out of 5

We love The Pageant. Great seats anywhere in the house. Macy Gray was perfect in this venue. Her voice is as amazing as ever. Her style is so unique and beautiful. Her band rocked the stage. And she was so gracious to my son. The drummer - Mr. Steve Stewart, gave my son Cahl his sticks after the show. Then we met Macy. She was casual, comfortable and welcoming to me and my son. We had an amazing time. This was his second concert and I’m not sure he will understand that this doesn’t happen at every concert. I’m so thankful for his experience with Macy and her fantastic team.

  • Macy did not disappoint!

by Foo ah on 7/29/25The Astro Theater - La VistaRating: 5 out of 5

Macy and her band sounded great! We saw herat a venue that is typically an outdoor amphitheater in the summer instead of a well air conditioned indoor space, so that probably impacted the size of the crowd, but those that were there were on their feet dancing and singing along! Highly recommend for both older fans and newer fans-to-be ❤️

by Ernest on 7/29/25The Astro Theater - La VistaRating: 4 out of 5

I received an email "know before you go"was very informative. The venue was very clean and comfortable. The acoustics was very crisp and well balanced. Although the event started 16 minutes late Macy Gray did an excellent job making sure the patrons did not exceed the three hour free parking limit. Kudos to everyone i enjoyed the green book tour. Respectfully, from son of a Navy veteran and Grandfather World War II veteran. I am not a veteran

  • Not a good performance

by Antjam on 7/29/25The Astro Theater - La VistaRating: 1 out of 5

Worst show I’ve seen in a long time. Won’t be seeing Macy Gray again.

  • One too many openers

by JD on 7/28/25The Pageant - Saint LouisRating: 3 out of 5

I don't know how much Terra Renae's husband is paying Macy for an opening spot on this tour, but that's no reason to inflict her on us. We saw the original show at the Pageant 25 years ago. All Macy had was that album and had to open it up and groove for 90 minutes. This show couldn't repeat that vibe, but was still grooved.

  • Great music and great line up

by Southeast on 7/28/25The Pageant - Saint LouisRating: 5 out of 5

Loved her voice and the band was tight! Could have listened for hours.

  • Why so late?

by Music Lover on 7/28/25The Pageant - Saint LouisRating: 3 out of 5

I knew I didn’t want to sit through two opening acts I’d never heard of so I intentionally arrived late. That didn’t matter because the first act was still on stage. The second act took the stage shortly after and gave us 30 minutes of breathy “I’m just a girl” music. At this point, it was 9. The crew started resetting the stage and I thought for sure Macy would be on stage by 9:30. It was closer to 10 before she came out and did 6 or 7 songs only die hard fans would know, none of which was on On How Life Is (you know, the name of the tour and the reason most of us were there). She took a break to do a costume change and finally came out to sing the album in order but only gave us snippets of some songs & extended remixes of others. It was so hit or miss that it was unenjoyable. We had to wait until the encore for I Try and even then she sang two other songs before we got to that. All of this to say, I could have just listened to the album at home.

  • Supper Fun Show Macy Has Such Style

by Pechalata on 7/25/25Paramount Theatre - DenverRating: 5 out of 5

Macy was captivating rom the very start and connected with the crowd. Her voice is amazing and her style unique

  • Macy Gray 25 anniversary tour

by Vicky on 7/22/25The Egyptian Theatre - BoiseRating: 5 out of 5

I loved seeing her in a small venue where I could be close. I was impressed with her voice, hadn’t aged a bit. I wish she would have interacted more with the crowd a bit more, I love it when entertainers do that.

  • Excellent concert

by Nikki on 7/22/25The Egyptian Theatre - BoiseRating: 5 out of 5

The Macy Gray concert was excellent. She was so mesmerizing to watch and overall a fantastic show

  • Needed room to dance

by Amanda on 7/15/25Palace of Fine Arts - San FranciscoRating: 4 out of 5

Palace of Fine Arts is a lovely venue, however it didn't provide for a general admission/standing area which would allowed for dancing. I saw the disappointment in Macy's face. One woman in the front row danced and Macy gave her her feather boa at the end.
