    Country and Fun

by MrsVJ on 12/22/12Somerville Theatre - Somerville

Mac Powell is one of my favorite singers. He has a great voice, writes great lyrics/music and can play a mean guitar! I'm partial to his Christian rock music with Third Day, so it was an easy transition to listen to his country music. The band was first rate and they seemed to have as much fun as the audience. I am so glad that we were able to make the performance. Though the venue changed and there was no seating, it worked out well. It made the show much more intimate. My one regret was not having my camera!

Mac Powell is a True Entertainer

by MPRocks on 11/6/12Variety Playhouse - Atlanta

Mac Powell is truly a showman! The concert was excellent ! The new songs are very fun and entertaining. He knows how to draw the audience in to the show. He relates to current events & is very funny as well. The sound at Variety Playhouse was Awesome. The Band Members of Third Day were there and they are some of the nicest guys that God put on earth. Mac was available to sign autographs & have pictures taken and the Third Day members stayed to do the same.

Mac Powell and the Backsliders best country

by acerola on 11/6/12Variety Playhouse - Atlanta

The concert was so much fun. Mac Powell's country songs have content and meaning. Slow or fast, it's the best country music of the moment. Mac's voice is unmatchable! Who knew that Mac Powell was so funny! I had a blast with my husband. The whole house was on their feet and on "fire"

Mac Powell @ Variety Playhouse was a blast!

by SusanCNorris on 11/5/12Variety Playhouse - Atlanta

My husband and I attended the concert with friends and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The venue was the perfect setting for an intimate concert. It allowed us to sit back and enjoy the music or get up and join in the dancing. It was well worth the money. Mac Powell always delivers an amazing show! I would highly recommend this to anyone.

    Mac is the MAN

    by Rags2Righteous on 9/28/12Somerville Theatre - Somerville

I had a great time at this intimate concert that. I don't listen to country, but as a long-time fan of Third Day, I could not pass-up an evening of music by Mac Powell. He and his band were witty, offering jokes in between songs. These guys might be funny, but they are good at their craft, and I was amazed by how awesome the music sounded. They even sang a few Third Day songs, which blessed my heart. I look forward to seeing Mac again! It was moved from the Somerville Theatre to the Middle East Downstairs, and I appreciate Ticketmaster contacting me promptly about the venue change.
