Great sound and awesome music. Highly recommended.
Glad to hear they played the old tunes. Not many surviving members in the band anymore, but these guys gave it their all. A nice tribute. Some good song choices...it was nice to hear Needle and the Spoon since it is a little less well-known but still an awesom song.
Bo Bice was great! I would advise to go get his 2nd CD. Lynyrd Skynyrd was very loud and amazing--- Great!
Lynyrd Skynyrd put on an outstanding show. With on one original member left, you would never know it. The guitar work in Free Bird is one of the most amazing things you will ever see on a rock stage. The only reason that I did not give them 5 stars is that at times it was so loud that just sounded like noise.
We took my daughter for her 18th birthday. She has been a huge fan of Skynyrd every since she was little. They put on a great show. She had a huge smile on her face the whole time. Bo Bice was also a favorite of ours from American Idol. It was great to get to see both of them. Gas $30 Tickets $80 smile on her face Priceless. Thanks to Skynard and Bo Bice for making her 18th birthday one she will never forget.
Too loud at first, The sound level made the mix muted and not clear. About two songs in, the problem was corrected. then on Sweet home Alabama, the base was out of whack and it rumbled over the music. Overall, it was good, high energy and classic Skynyrd romp through the oldies. Free Bird close of the show was the highlight.
The concert was a very enjoyable experiance. Bo Bice was also great.
It was awsome!!!!! We all had a really great time!!
Wow!!! Lynyrd Skynyrd is truly the best ! Their music rocks you straight to your core. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G Sound. What an inspiration to our son who is a talented guitarist.
This concert was phenomenal! Everyone waiting in line and in front of the stage was so energyzied and excited. The crowd seemed almost 50/50 in those coming to see Bo Bice or those who were there to see Skynyrd. Bo was just awesome and his voice was powerful and rich. His connection with the crowd was magnetic and his smile and shout-outs to the crowd was genuine. Plus the guy can really rock! Skynyrd was all that you would expect and more! Their performance was 5 stars and never let up for one moment. They just drew the crowd in and blew the roof off with their outstanding musicianship and vocals! I loved every second of this show and it's a concert I won't soon forget!
The show was great!Bo Bice was a great opening act to the show.Skynrd was awesome from beginning to end!
My husband, 17 y/o daughter and myself attending this energizing performance. As Johnny VanZant said...they were in Skynyrd country and it showed The audience was exctited and the band felt it!
We were kind of skeptical because of the venue they were playing at, along with we were unsure of how many of the original band members were still apart of Lynyrd Skynyrd but it definitely didn't matter. They still killed everyone song they played! It was one of the best concerts we have been to in my opinion. They entertained the crowd the whole way through without taking any breaks. The best part about it they played all there greatest hits which made the concert that more unforgettable!!!
This was the first time my husband and I went to a Rock concrete and we had a ball nice to be 25 again. The crowd behaved themselves and it was a enjoyable evening, would I go again, Yes,Yes, Yes.
This music still holds up. The current folks have played this so much they are really, really good. If you like white hot rock, with a double base drum and three leading gituars this is you band. Only one band member is from the original. These guys were not at Woodstock, but Hendricks would have listened to the rift in "That Smell". Oh baby, light them up, let's rock.
The Lynyrd Skynyrd concert with Bo Bice was a great time! The music just kept on coming. One great song after the next. Bo was great also. They played for a long time and the images on the screen were fun to watch.
I really like Lynyrd s. This is the first time going to one of their concerts. I was really excited and looking forward to it. The concert was disappointing to say the least. The music was so loud I could not understand the words of the song. Bo Bice was good and he was also good when Sweet Alambama was sang. This is one of my favorite songs of the bands. My ears actuallyt hurt like being in an airplane when we left. You know that saying----If the music too loud you're too OLD. I love concerts and loud music ,, but this was not my favorite and it cost $50 for my husband and me.
Lynyrd Skynyrd not only plays the music that I love, but they play it with the passion and energy that ranks them at the top of the list. I've won my wife over. She was rocking right along with me. It's was a family fun night. Bo Bice was a perfect opening act. He WILL be a star. Thanks Lynyrd Skynyrd and Bo Bice for a great night.
The Lynyrd Skynyrd was the best concert I have ever been to. I came out of the concert with a greater love of the music, pride in my country and a respect for the musicians. I would love to see them again.
I did not what to expect as I haven't seen the guys "live" before. Also I haven't heard from them for a while. Yet, the Skynyrd concert was so nice and energetic. There were about two hours of skynyrd rock of the best with both new song and their classics.
