Music was great and so were the people that work at BNH Pavillion. Bring back Lynyrd Skynyrd next year and I will see them again. Saw the band in 1977 in Portland and they might be better today. Great experience.

If you have not been, catch them, great music, obviously not as the last few years

  • Great show

by Amanda on 8/26/24BankNH Pavilion - GilfordRating: 5 out of 5

ZZ Top and Lynryd Sknyryd put on a great show. There were a couple moments when we thought Skynyrd was about to get political, but the message was tempered and well done.

  • Best concert ever.

All in all an ok show. Zz Top was fun. Lynyrd Skynyrd was engaging and songs were EXACTLY what you hear on the radio. That said, I think the band is riding coat tales and living on borrowed time. They truly should not be calling them themselves Lynyrd Skynyrd. They are, at this point, a tribute band charging premium pricing.

  • Wow- 3 Awesome bands, playing perfectly

by JM on 8/26/24BankNH Pavilion - GilfordRating: 5 out of 5

The icing on the cake was when the Outlaws opened up for an already great lineup, ZZ Top and Lynyrd Skynard!!! Wow, what an amazing performance from all three bands- perfectly executed!! Love Gilford, NH venue too!!

  • Fabulous

One of the best concerts I’ve ever been to. I’m 71 and have seen a lot but all three groups knocked it out of the ballpark. Great venue as always but I think the food has gone downhill in the last few years. I’ll be back for more concerts in the future but probably bring my own food.

  • Southern Rock Icons don't disappoint

    by Aris K on 8/26/24BankNH Pavilion - GilfordRating: 4 out of 5

I was surprised that ZZ Top was not the headliner. All the promos for the show seemed to point toward ZZ Top, then Lynyrd Skynyrd, and the Outlaws were the opener. In the end, it all made sense. The Outlaws were excellent with great guitars as usual. ZZ Top was also great, but missed a few big hits such as "Rough Boy", "Tush", "Cheap Sunglasses", and "Sleeping Bag". Lynyrd Skynyrd was excellent from start to finish. They played "ALL"the hits and had the crowd rocking all night.

I went with friends to Jones Beach theater on August 22, 2024 to see The Outlaws, ZZ Top, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. We were in agreement that we loved each band individually and the concert as a whole. It was a beautiful night, there was a red moon that rose during the concert, and we shared the experience with the people sitting around us. It was one of the highlights of my summer!

Concert was great!! Food was awful at Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion. Would not buy food there again. Also drinks are way overpriced. Something has to been done!!

  • Lynyrd Skynyrd at Bank of NH

by DJ on 8/26/24BankNH Pavilion - GilfordRating: 5 out of 5

I initially went to the concert to see ZZ Top. I had completely forgotten about all the nostalgic and favorite songs I liked. And they put on a good show. But when Lynyrd Skynyrd came out on stage I was blown away by the powerful show. I had never been to a Lynyrd Skynyrd concert. Didn't know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised. The music I remembered through the years and the showmanship and just overall enjoyment went thru the roof. The Breeze, Give Me 3 Steps, Sweet Home Alabama, my personal favorite. The end with Freebird and the tribute to the original members blew me away. I would love to go to a Lynyrd Skynyrd concert again. Only problem I had was people in front of me not sitting down so I could see or get photos. Hard for a disabled Marine Corps veteran who can't stand for long periods of time. Then of course people sitting in other people's seats. That's a venue issue.

  • Great musicians!

Great music, Great sound system but food and drink are so, so overpriced!!!

  • 1974 or 2024?? Transported!

by AreNot on 8/26/24BankNH Pavilion - GilfordRating: 5 out of 5

We bought to tickets to Lynyrd Skynyrd as a novelty night. We had no idea we were in for one of the best concerts of this year! The music was unbelievable, Johnny's voice was stunning and they were just too much fun!! It was heartfelt as the honored the original members. I would see them again tomorrow if I could!

  • great bands/great sets/food-drinks way overpriced

by Steve on 8/26/24Northwell at Jones Beach Theater - WantaghRating: 5 out of 5

Great concert and all three bands were fantastic. The venue-jones beach theatre--has some nice upgrades. the food and drink are WAY overpriced. beer is $20; water was $7 EACH. Pretzels were $8 each.
