The concert was amazing However the venue was disappointing, there was a gal who made herself throw up then preceded to lay on the ground the entire concert. It was disgusting and distracting. Wish the venue would’ve done more to either move them or us.

  • Lynyrd Skynard Rocked The House

by Apricot Girl! on 9/22/24Toyota Pavilion at Concord - ConcordRating: 5 out of 5

This was the first time I’ve seen Skynard at the Pavillion. It was a great show but it’s tough when everyone is standing up in front of you. They always gets the crowd rocking . Love how they always recognize the first responders and our military whether retired or active. I will be back next year if they have a show at the pavillion.

  • Always a pleasure to watch a team of professionals!

by Show business veteran speaks out on 9/22/24Toyota Pavilion at Concord - ConcordRating: 5 out of 5

I grew up in the generation where Skynyrd, Boston, ZZ Top, Jimmy, Ted Nugent, Foghat, the Rolling Stones, the Beatles led the way. A friend of mine invited me to watch the Outlaws, as his son Jeff Aulich is the lead guitarist, and they were opening for Skynyrd and ZZ Top. What a great time. My party of one grew as two of my kids and their significant others hopped on board dad's fun train. Sitting on the grass at the top of the Concord pavilion rocking out to these groups was fantastic. The Outlaws are worth the price of admission, a great band going places, managed by Nashville own Linda💯. ZZ Top is always great, but it felt about a quarter step off without bass man Dusty, but who doesn't love La Grange, Tush, Sharp Dressed Man? Besides, watching these pros twist this crowd around their finger worth every minute. Skynyrd killed it. Those great songs, Sweet home Alabama, the breeze, give me three steps,… That's the national anthem via Southern rock. The show, five guitar leads, great piano and back up singers, And a lead singer who knows how to work a crowd, lead a tune, and March us into southern rock heaven. Are they still working for MCA? It's a must see for everyone breathing. Five stars.

  • Always a GREAT show!

by EricaM on 9/22/24Toyota Pavilion at Concord - ConcordRating: 5 out of 5

Lynyrd Skynyrd always delivers. The Outlaws opened and got the crowd ready for a fantastic evening. ZZ Top did what they do - Texas style! And Skynyrd - they always bring it! Took my 16 year old son who had a blast! Can’t wait for the next show!

  • Can't get enuf...

by SCOTT ROX 63 on 9/22/24Toyota Pavilion at Concord - ConcordRating: 5 out of 5

As an avid lifelong Skynyrd Nation faithful I endeavor to catch them every time they play the West Coast of our great nation. This year it was down at Lake Skinner for the Temecula Ballon Festival a few months ago. This past Thursday night was in Concord with the always fabulous Outlaws and the inimitable ZZ TOP who thankfully have awakened from their 45 minute set slumber of the past 2 years. 75 minutes was awesome from that little ol' band from Tejas. The piece de resistance was them good ol' boys from the deep south that drive them guitars, drums, ebony and ivory keys and let us not forget the lead vocals and the always talented and very beautiful rhythm ladies whom the signature Lynyrd Skynyrd sound could not do without. As always, LS brought the heat to both of those shows "like a black cat do." The Lake Skinner Skynyrd set was so six-string blistering, fret smoking hot that it left a 16 your old African American girl standing near me absolutely awestruck at the conclusion of Freebird. At 63, I was right there with her and I've seen them multiple times over my lifetime. Since my daze on this planet are drawing shorter, I was very blessed to find out that after the 2 Washington state shows with the Outlaws and ZZ TOP, LS got booked into the last frontier, the 49th state in our great union. So I bought my tickets and I am treating my longest running friend (50+yrs), and her husband in Wasilla to a night on the town in Anchorage this coming Tuesday night, Sept. 24th. I'm guessing that The Skynyrd Nation faithful will be rocked like getting shot with a .38 Special. Skynyrd will be killin' it!!!

  • We love LS

by MC on 9/22/24Toyota Pavilion at Concord - ConcordRating: 5 out of 5

Enjoyed the concert and the venue amenities. Only negative point was an inconvenient with a Shrine Hospital volunteer that I reported to their website. Other than that it was great to hear and watch our favorite band. Keep coming to California, Lynyrd Skynyrd ✌️♥️.

  • Awesome Experience!

Saw ZZ Top and Lynyrd Skynyrd. What a show! Seating was wonderful for the price, weather was great, lighting and sound was perfect, and the bands were incredibly talented and entertaining! What more can I say?

  • Lynnrd Skynnrd 2024 Concert at TA, Concord

by Dewi on 9/22/24Toyota Pavilion at Concord - ConcordRating: 5 out of 5

I went to LS Concert at Toyota Amphitheatre, Wheatland in 2023 with a friend. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to reprise the concert this year at TA, Concord. This time i brought another friend along. Another great concert but can do without the white blinding lights flashing in our faces! The colored lights are tolerable. We love the way Johnny Can Sant connects with the audience and how the audience responds. LS Concerts are always full of good energy and excitement. I’m thinking about reprising yet again for next year, maybe even become a LSkynnrdHead!

Bucket list concert and wasn't disappointed! Last minute opportunity and glad we were able to attend!

  • Great Performance. But...

by BobP on 9/17/24Pine Knob Music Theatre - ClarkstonRating: 4 out of 5

The performers did a fantastic job. The amps were overdriven and distorted in the first half. Volume was in the high 90's dB. It seemed louder than ZZ Top that night. I should have brought my ear protection to drop it down 5 dB. I definitely had a Temporary Threshold Shift in my hearing.

  • Excellent Pine Knob concert

by PN on 9/17/24Pine Knob Music Theatre - ClarkstonRating: 4 out of 5

Lynyrd Skynyrd were amazing as well as ZZ top. The show was exellent. The concession drink prices were extremely high, refuse to purchase anything food or drink once inside Need to lower prices, or like most people tailgate outside with there own food and drinks.

As always we greatly enjoyed rocking out at DTE. The Sharp Dressed Simple Man tour was awesome. We love bringing our 4 yr old with us and sitting at the top of the hill so, he can run and roll down the back. We will continue to attend concerts here as long as possible!!!
