Lynda Lemay on Tour

Since the early '90s, Lynda Lemay has dazzled her audiences with her beautiful voice and her intimate, heartfelt lyrics. The French-Canadian singer/songwriter is on her 2022-2023 tour across Canada and Europe, making stops in Canada, France and Belgium. Her expertly written lyrics are sure to make the audience tear up, either from the touching nature of her songs and the romance behind them, or from the humor Lemay brings to the monotony of everyday life. Lemay first reached the spotlight in 1989 after winning the Best Singer/Songwriter award in the Granby Song Contest for her song "La Veilleuse." Soon after, Lemay signed with Warner Music Canada where she released her debut album Nos Rêves (1990). This album received some  success, but it wasn'tuntil her second album, Y (1994), that Lemay began her journey into superstardom. Y sold 200,000 copies in Canada alone while eventually going double platinum. Over the next couple of decades, Lemay continued to produce a number of albums and EPs, including La Visite (1995), Lynda Lemay (1996), Lynda Lemay (1998), Live (1999), Du Côq à L'âme (2000), Les Lettres Rouges (2002), Les Secrets Des Oiseaux (2003), Un Paradis Quelque Part (2005), Un Éternel Hiver (2006), Ma Signature (2006), Allo C'est Moi (2008), Blessée (2010), Feutres Et Pastels (2013), Décibels Et Des Silences (2016), Il Était Onze Fois (2020), Des Milliers De Plumes (2020), À La Croisée Des Humains (2021), De La Rosée Dans Les Yeux (2021), and Haute Mère (2021).

In 2001 she was awarded Female Artist of the Year at the prestigious Les Victoires de la Musique ceremony (French version of the Grammy Awards). In 2012 she received the insignia of Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres in France, an extremely significant French award given to those who have made great contributions to French culture. Lynda Lemay has more than 80,000 monthly listeners on Spotify with her hit song "Le Plus fort c'est mon père" topping the list with more than 3.2 million streams.
