LUKAS GRAHAM IN CONCERT:
Danish soul-pop quartet Lukas Graham has become a hit on both sides of the Atlantic thanks to a string of catchy-as-heck anthems that combine radio-ready hooks with a bit of edge courtesy of the band's hard-knocks background. They call their accessible yet gritty sound "ghetto-pop", and it's a product of their upbringing in a marginalized, rough-and-tumble Copenhagen neighborhood. The foursome may have seen hard times, but you'd never know it at their live shows, where they crackle with celebratory energy and treat ticket buyers to an all-out pop party. Frontman Lukas Graham Forchhammer can seriously belt, and he always wears his heart on his sleeveódespite the fact that he usually performs shirtless. His emotional vocals on soaring hits like "7 Years" and "Mama Said" are matched at every turn by the rest of the band and their energetic playing, making for an upbeat concert experience that always ends on a high note.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Lukas Graham formed in Copenhagen in late 2011 and got their start uploading videos of self-recorded tunes to YouTube and Facebook. The clips were shared widely among their friends in Denmark, and before long the band boasted several hundred thousand views and a growing reputation in the Copenhagen underground. Their 2011 debut single "Ordinary Things" peaked at No. 2 on the Danish charts, leading to a sold-out tour despite the fact that they hadn't even released an album. They rectified that in 2012 with their self-titled debut, a massive hit that topped Danish charts and earned them fans across Europe thanks to popular singles like "Drunk in the Morning" and "Better Than Yourself (Criminal Mind Pt. 2)". Warner Bros. Records snatched them up in 2013, and in 2015 Lukas Graham dropped their sophomore album Lukas Graham (Blue Album) to a No. 3 spot on the US Billboard 200. They're already massive stars in their native Denmark, and with undeniable singles like "7 Years" earning them new fans by the minute, it's only a matter of time before their fame goes global.
I’ve always enjoyed The Neptune Theater and Lukas once again didn't disappoint, he wasn’t feeling well and still delivered another entertaining show. One of the most underrated singers I’ve ever seen.
Fillmore was still the Fillmore which was amazing and the staff was very helpful. Had not seen Lukas Graham since 2016 and was stoked he came to San Francisco. Great show.
This concert surprised me so much, the whole vibe was super positive and I had a smile on my face the whole time. Even during the sad songs because this guy is SO talented. Also Rozzi, one of the hottest support acts ever.
Great concert on a great revenue. Lukas and band gave an excellent performance.
I think he must have been sick or having a hard time with his equipment. He kept futzing with his ear piece, also, I didn't think he interacted with the audience as much as he has in the past.

This is the third time I’ve seen him in concert. I love how he interacts with the fans and the fact that he sounds just like the album in person live is amazing. Great great great show.

Great show by Lukas Graham. Fire alarm delay getting into the show and bar in VIP section was really slow but great venue great seats otherwise
Lukas Graham knows how to pump up the crowd with his exceptional singing and terrific band. What a treat to be able to see them perform. Hope they come back to Santa Ana in the future - we are eager to watch them again. Rozzi was also such a delight. We had been waiting for her to have a concert and we were so pleasantly surpised that she was front-acting for this.
These guys really know how to put on a show. I’m not a big fan of going to concerts but this one blew me away. The singer does amazing at engaging the audience by moving all over the stage and encouraging everyone to sing. He also really personalizes the event by talking about his songs/ life. The only disappointing part was when the show was over, it was so good it didn’t want it to end! I would highly recommend this show!
Lukas Graham was absolutely amazing! His/bands energy and stage presence was beyond great! I would love to see him again! I saw him in the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York. Great show! Please come back to the east coast of the United States!!!
Lukas Graham and band were great performers. They were able to make the audience laugh and inspire creativity. The hosts (104.3) were also great and had prize giveaways for those that won their contest. It would have been nice to see the hosts interact more with those that didn’t win so they can reach a different market of potential listeners. The venue. It was smaller than pictured. There were flat rows of chairs with a stage that doesn’t allow the audience to see the stage clearly unless you are in the front middle row. There are giant screens on the sides of the stage that were very bright and distracting but the only clear view of the concert. During the concert, the fire alarm had went off for a good 10 minutes. The bad was unable to play during the alarm thus less songs were played. The alarm was eventually turned off but then there was the stand alone alarm that would go off a few more minutes before someone came over the loud speaker to say to disregard the alarms. The alarms almost completely ruined the experience. I gave this review 3 stars because of how the band was able to pull off the horrible venue so well.

This was the most amazing concert I have ever been to. Lukas Graham put on the greatest performance ever and interacts with the audience throughout the whole concert. I would pay to see their performance again. I love all of his songs. I liked there were no opening bands only his performance.
Lukas Graham is one of the greatest voices in music today. Both the Fox theater and the grand theater at Foxwoods are something to be seen. The sound systems are incredible. I encourage everybody who reads this to see Lukas Graham and visit Foxwoods!!!
Lucas Graham gave his audience a amazing personal experience. It was a great crowd and he was better than I ever expected!!
While the opening act was hard to understand what he was saying the headliner, Lukas Graham was fantastic. Lukas sounds the same live as he does on the recordings and there was no lip synching involved. The crowd fed off the energy from the band and sang along to every song. Lovestick and Magnus were excellent on the drums and bass. The brass section was amazing. The overall show was entertaining and worth seeing multiple times.
This was our 2nd time seeing Lukas Graham and it was even better than last year! It was my first time at the Fillmore, and it's an excellent venue in which to see a band like Lukas Graham!
