About

English singer-songwriter Louis Tomlinson rose to fame as a member of One Direction, one of the most popular boy bands in history, which was formed on British television program The X Factor. During his time with One Direction, Tomlinson and his bandmates sold over 70 million records worldwide, accrued over 21 billion streams, and embarked on multiple world tours. Following the announcement of a One Direction hiatus in 2016, Tomlinson made his solo debut with “Just Hold On,” a collaboration with Steve Aoki, and followed the release with “Back to You” featuring Bebe Rexha and Digital Farm Animals. He’s released two solo albums — Walls (2020) and Faith in the Future (2022) — both of which peaked in the Top 10 on the Billboard 200, with the latter debuting at No. 1 in the U.K. His third studio album, titled How Did I Get Here?, is scheduled for release in January of 2026, and Tomlinson will take the album on the road with an arena world tour.

  • You need to see this man live

by Valeria on 2/4/22South Side Ballroom - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

Literally one of the best shows I’ve ever been to. It was my first time seeing him and he is just so memorable. It was everything I could ask for.

  • Louis was AMAZING

by Natt on 2/4/22South Side Ballroom - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

His live vocals are even more phenominal when seeing him in person instead of seeing him live on youtube! I knew he was talented and amazing before but I was completely breathless. His set was perfect and the way he ended the night was killer! Kill My Mind is a great way to end his concert and I honestly couldn't have asked for a better knight. He spoke to the crowd a few times between songs as well and just kept telling us how important our support is to him and it really made me feel special to be a part of his fanbase. He is a gem.

  • Amazing

by Karinne on 2/4/22South Side Ballroom - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

They checked for vaccination cards and negative tests at the entrance (I had seen reviews saying that this venue doesn’t enforce that, they do). They also checked that everyone had a mask before they went in (if you didn’t you couldn’t go in). No one checks if you’re wearing one after you’ve gone into the crowd, so some people took them off but the vast majority kept them on. Louis was incredible, he’s my favorite person on earth and I can’t believe I got to see him in person. He puts on an amazing show. The security guards were so sweet and one of them even came out to the line while holding a pride flag :).

  • AMAZING

by Nina on 2/4/22South Side Ballroom - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

For the ballroom itself, the staff was great in reinforcing mask and safety policies. Louis was amazing as always. I couldnt be happier.

  • Loved it

by Dawn on 2/4/22South Side Ballroom - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

Louis is an amazing person and musician. He interacts with the so much. His lyrics tell a wonderful story. You can relate to his lyrics. The energy of the room was so overwhelming. His fan base is like an extension of his family.

  • 5/5 Stars for Louis, 1/5 Stars for Venue

by Bri on 2/4/22South Side Ballroom - DallasRating: 3 out of 5

I first want to say that Louis and the band was absolutely fantastic and they couldn’t have sounded and performed better! They were perfect. Now for the morning of the show, we were instructed through the venues website to line up at 10 for a numbered wristband. Camping was not allowed but at least 300 ppl did anyways. There was not an official line until 10:30 so some were waiting across the street and some closer to the venue. There was no staff in sight up until they told us that the line will actually be on the other side of the venue. This caused a mob of people to run across. In the process, someones little kid went missing (they were eventually found). Campers formed a mob at the front of the line saying they deserve their made up number system. They were fighting with staff and others in line. This went on up til 12:30. People began to leave when venue staff now told us that there were no numbered wristbands and that they didn't know where we got that information from. At this point, they removed the 10AM wristband instruction on the website that had been up for MONTHS and was there the night before the show. About 30 minutes later, they said they had wristbands, but there was only a couple hundred - so we stayed. We began being brought into new lines of 50 people. This was now not the line for wristbands, but the line for the ACTUAL show. There were no numbered wristbands and we had to stay to hold our spot in line or take shifts with others around us to hold our spots. Also there were NO RESTROOMS for us on the property!! Also, my COVID vaccination card was never checked to get into the venue. This was by far the most stressful waiting in line situation I’ve ever been in and hope to never experience anything like that again. Sending my love to Louis and his team because they definitely didn’t have anything to do with the mess.

  • AMAZING

by Mia on 2/4/22South Side Ballroom - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

The experience was great, only bad thing was the organization for wristbands in the morning. Other than that Louis was great the opener was great too.
