Louis Tomlinson on Tour
"I like the idea of finally finding my lane and feeling comfortable and confident about what I'm doing," Louis Tomlinson said in a 2019 interview, and seeing him in concert shows that he's traveling at full speed. Wielding the charm and onstage presence that he honed as a member of mega-selling boy band One Direction, the British singer and TV personality puts on a high-energy live show that spans his whole career — all the way back to the days when he auditioned for The X Factor with The Killers' newer-wave smash "Mr. Brightside."
Louis Tomlinson in Concert
Born in 1991 in Doncaster, England, Louis Tomlinson trained as an actor in his early years, and landing the role of Danny Zuko in a school production of Grease gave him enough confidence to try out for the Simon Cowell-helmed British singing competition The X Factor in 2010. He didn't place as a solo singer, but decided to enter with four other contestants as a group that was dubbed One Direction. They came in third during the show's seventh season, but they wound up being first in fans' hearts, creating a Beatlemania-level frenzy as they headlined stadiums around the world, released chart-topping songs and repeatedly broke the internet until they went on hiatus in 2016.
At the end of that year, Tomlinson released his first post-One Direction song, a collaboration with EDM festival floor-filler Steve Aoki called "Just Hold On." In 2017, he collaborated with pop belter Bebe Rexha and British DJ Digital Farm Animals on "Back to You." Later that year, he released two solo singles, "Just Like You" and "Miss You," that were marked by introspective lyrics. In 2018, Tomlinson returned to The X Factor as a judge, mentoring Jamaican-born singer Dalton Harris to victory. He resumed his own musical career in 2019, co-writing Blackbear's "Changes" and releasing three singles in the run-up to the January 2020 release of his first solo album, Walls, and the Louis Tomlinson World Tour in support of it in the spring and summer of 2020.

by Glora on 11/17/23I went to Louis show in Seattle. Though the lines into the show were chaotic. The show was incredible. I saw him last year for LTWT. and loved it. it was my first concert ever. He truly cares about his fans. Plus Seattle got the first live of Common People. So big flex there. I was by myself in the pit. but the people around me were so incredibly nice. There was a moment during one of the opening acts where Andrew Cushin said to hug whoever you came with. and the people i came with decided to go sit. So, a random stranger gave me a hug. so thoughtful. There was a moment where i tried to get water but i didn’t get one passed to me. and this kind wonderful mom said she had an extra water and gave it to me. i ended up sharing my water with another fan cause she wanted some too. Overall one of the best nights of my life. so proud of him and everything he’s accomplished. i can’t wait to see him again. thank you for everything you’ve done for me Louis Tomlinson. thank you.

by Ella on 11/16/23Me and my best friend went to his show in Atlanta and we had the BEST TIME EVERRRR!!! It was a small venue so the lines weren’t bad at all! And the seats were AMAZING!!! If your short you could still see over everyones heads!! Over all I’d give his shows a 28/10 😄 best night of my life!!!!!

His voice was impeccable and his band was great ! His openers, Andrew Cushin and Giant Rooks were phenomenal ! They all certainly know how to put on a hell of a show ! All 3 are definitely worth seeing live !

And when I say it was so unbelievably hot/humid outside and we were there from 5 till 11pm and before his show we finally got some rain and got 2 RAINBOWS!!! Louis also always picks the best openers and we had a blast dancing to the giant rooks:))) Louis is also a great performer and performed his way through the heat im surprised he made it to the end of the concert with the lights on him and the heat both hitting him at once❤️❤️❤️❤️

by Ivelina on 9/21/23Louis is not only an incredible songwriter and performer, but an amazing person as well and i think we all have noticed that. his show in Sofia was surreal to me, he really fulfilled a childhood dream of mine and for that i'm forever grateful. if you have the ability to go see him in concert, you should definitely do it. hearing his songs live is an inexplicable feeling. he was also very caring the whole night, even stopped the show at one point for a fan who wasn't feeling well. :') in other words, i'd do it all over again. you should too!

It brought back memories of the old One Direction and I loved how everybody had the same vibe.. jumping up and down and screaming. WE LOVE YOU LOUIS!!

I made many friends at the shows, traveled to new places, and got to see Louis sing his heart out. He is so incredible live, his vocals are FANTASTIC and he has an excellent stage presence. I hope to get to see him again soon!!
