When Louden Swain began working on the band's tenth studio album, Feelings and Such, the world looked much different than it had two years earlier.
The band's frontman, Rob Benedict, had gone through a divorce. Bassist Michael Borja had recently lost his father. Everyone's lives had been altered by the pandemic that brought everyday life to a standstill for months on end. It was a time of uncertainty and change. What remained the same, though, were the creative bonds shared by Louden Swain's four members.
"We're like brothers," says Benedict, who co-founded the long-running group in 1997. "It's been that way since the very beginning. We're all very committed to each other, to the music, to the band and that's what holds Louden Swain together."
With its combination of rock & roll swagger and melodic jangle, Feelings and Such isn't just the finest record of Louden Swain's 25-year career. It's also a testament to the shared history and musical chemistry that continue to fuel the band's output. Co-produced by Louden Swain and longtime collaborator Zackary Darling, Feelings and Such is stocked with emotive, electrifying songs about pushing past challenges and turning one's struggles into salvation. It's an album
rooted in trials and triumphs, whipped into shape by a band of rock & roll lifers who've had plenty of experience with both.

The guys totally know how to get everyone in the room going as well as feeding off the energy in a room. They really know how to put on a show and I wouldn't miss them for anything. I swear they get better every time I see them! It is 100% worth traveling to see their shows!
These fellas put on a great show. High energy, with great songs and their fans are awesome too. Definitely catch a show if you get the chance. (They’ve also been playing together for 20+ years!!)
I have been to several Louden Swain shows and this was the best so far. I’m so very glad I was there. Rob, Billy, Mike, and Steve put in a great show and the audience always has a great time.
I’ve been to a lot of concerts, and this was one of my favourites. Great set list, sound, and energy. Can’t wait to see them again.
I first saw LS at a Supernatural convention and my co-attendee and I weren't expecting much. Halfway through the first song, we were looking wide-eyed at each other, shocked by how good they were. Halfway through the set, we were both confirmed fans of this band. The songs are great, Rob Benedict has an excellent voice and a ton of charisma at the mic, and the musicianship competes with the best rock bands out there today. What a surprise. So glad I caught that show!
Saw them play in DC at a Supernatural convention and they were phenomenal! Rob is a great vocalist and I definitely can't wait to see them again in the future!
Louden Swain always puts on a great performance, but their March 18th show at the Echo was the best I’ve seen so far. I can’t wait to see them again.
