About

With over 13 million albums sold worldwide and an astonishing 55 songs on the Billboard charts, Los Tucanes de Tijuana are one of the most prolific and acclaimed norteño acts in the world. Formed in 1987 from the music scene of Tijuana's nightclubs, the group's humble beginnings gave way to international stardom and celebrated live concerts at iconic venues such as Dodger Stadium and the Zócola, a plaza in Mexico City with a capacity of 100,000. With the release of 365 Días in 2012, Los Tucanes landed at No. 3 on the Top Latin Albums chart and won their first Latin Grammy for Best Norteño Album. The group began as a quartet consisting of lead vocalist/guitarist Mario Quintero Lara, vocalist/accordionist Joel Higuera, bassist Mario Moreno, and drummer David Servin. Their songs include ballads and dance tracks marked by double-entendres and lyrical stories that represent the realities of life for many Latinos, making them a favorite with ticket buyers. Los Tucanes de Tijuana have received several awards from the Billboard Mexican Music Awards, BMI Awards, and were featured in 2010 in the first-ever Spanish-only program at the Grammy Museum.

    The pearl concert theater its amazing, and los Tucanes, the music. The songs were great, very enjoyable !!!!

    I paid for a concert with certain artists, one of them did not show up and did not get notified before concert nor an apology after. Paid full price for specific seats and they were changed.

    This was an awesome performance from Los Tucanes de Tijuana. They had the whole stadium up and dancing to every song played. The crowd was happy, full of energy and enthusiastic. Great performance and venue as well. Definitely in my top five concerts and I have been to quite a few. I would love to see them again. La Chona lives forever!!

    This has been by far the best concert we've been to! Like my title states, it was more of a giant party than a concert. Los Tucanes de Tijuana no how to do it. Simply fire!

    What a fun time we had!!!! If they were to come back again next month, we would go again. The music was great. They keep the crowd entertained. Please bring them back again.
