LOS LONELY BOYS IN CONCERT:
Chicano rock favorites Los Lonely Boys are known for their signature "Texican Rock n' Roll," a unique style that combines rock, Texas blues, and Tejano. Approaching two decades together, the Boys are nothing if not seasoned performers, and fans can expect to see a rip-roaring display of musicianship from the tireless trio at their live shows. With their eighth album hot off the presses, Los Lonely Boys will hit the stage hotter than a ball of Texas fire on their 2014 tour dates.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Comprised of Texan brothers Henry, Jojo, and Ringo Garza, Los Lonely Boys self-released several records in Nashville in the '90s before moving back to their home state with the hope of finding a more appreciative audience. The move proved fruitful â under the tutelage of Willie Nelson, the trio's self-titled third album peaked at No. 1 on Billboard's Heatseekers Albums Chart, going on to receive double platinum certification from the RIAA. Since then, theyâve become key players in the Texas music scene, releasing a string of successful records including the Grammy-winning hit single "Heaven" and Grammy-nominated songs "More than Love" and "Onda."
FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:
"The Garza Brothers put on another amazing show! I have seen them several times, and they are great every time. If you ever have a chance to see them live, I highly recommend it."
"Los Lonely Boys are amazing and we go to see them every time they are in the area. They play Texas Rock and Roll and can play their instruments with amazing ability! Their voices are great too with their harmonizing!"
"Absolutely amazing! These guys played their hearts out and rocked the place."
They were truly amazing and to see the smile my mom carried through the whole concert was awesome!!! I will for sure go again to see them! They put on a great show!
First things first: I love LLBs music. I loved this show!!!! I stumbled across them before they hit it big and they blew me away with their musical prowess, song writing, and showmanship. Iâve seen them 6 times now. The bad news (for me anyway) was after they became successful some of the shows were lackluster due in part by giving huge percentage of show time to family members that unfortunately were not at the same caliber they are. After the last of those shows, I had actually, reluctantly, given up on their live shows. Some friends of mine wanted to go see them this time around and I went just to hang out with my friends. But now the good news (for me any way). LLB is back to their old form. They sounded awesome. By the time it was over I was grinning ear to ear. Henryâs sons have a band and they opened the show and got a great reaction from the crowd. Ringoâs son joined them on stage for one song and nailed it. It was fun to watch and very sweet to see the reaction of his uncles and father to his performance. I LOVED THIS SHOW! Iâll be there the next time they come to town.
Atmosphere was great. Everyone enjoyed the music regardless of seating and we were sitting in the balcony. Excellent entertainment.
Family opened the show and itâs clear to see that the apple didnât fall far from the tree. Good but a little too aggressive for me. Second act (didnât even know there were going to be any) were a little more tight and experienced. Finally the main act makes it out by 10ish. Thatâs a long time but this was worth the wait. Missed them
I waited a little over 20 years to see these guys jam.... Best birthday gift to myself!!!
It was a great time! No waiting in lines or getting drinks. Had great seats to watch show!! Loved the Los Lonely boys.
The show was great. The bands were great. Just wish, with 3 bands on the slate, they wouldâve started the first act sooner than an hour after the published show time.
This is probably one of the best live bands out there. Three guys make it sound like 5-6 members. They don't get the right recognition that they deserve. Their voices, their skills are amazing.
Last night was the coolest, intimate concert I have ever been to. Felt like we were part of the familia. Seeing the brothers play on each otherâs instruments was incredible! And to see the generational genre of Texican rock n roll being passed down to their sonâs band the Cristeros was historical. Phenomenal concert!
The Los Lonely Boys are a tight trio. They seem like ONE instrument playing as one. But to me they seemed either bored or tired. I expected more energy from them and more songs. Henry Garza is amazing, but the long solos were a bit tedious. They were good but I was a little disappointed. I wouldn't pay to see them again.
Los Lonely Boys were very talented and down to earth. I really enjoyed their music and good nature!
Security team were courteous respectful & set good limits until the last song. LLB always rock the house no matter where they play. It was a great show!
First time at this venue. Had 3rd row seats 1,2. Great view of stage. Henry brought it as always. Loved the CCR opening song.
Loved the concert! A great performance by Los Lonely Boys! Enjoyed listening to every song they played!
Great concert! Love their music and energy. Iâll be watching for them to come back.
Lis Lonely Boys put on a good show. We had a great time. Enjoyed the venue and weâll be sure to go again.
The venue was roomy and organized. The prices for cocktails and beverages was surprisingly much lower than GSR. For the concert itself left me feeling frustrated. I paid $300 for two tickets and they never even played at least four of their main songs. The production was short, and definitely not worth what I paid. This was my second time seeing them, and I can guarantee there will not be a third.
It had been some 20 years since I last saw Los Lonely Boys live. In fact they were the opening group for Carlos Santana. These three brothers are an awesome tribute to live music! The sounded great, in a great venue and great fans! I can guarantee it will not be another twenty years the next time I see them!!!
I've been listening to them for years but live......omg! Absolutely rocking concert, can't wait to go see them again!
We've been to see Los Lonely Boys many times. Last show was at the Independant in SF. Now, after a break of several years, they are back better than ever. Henry has honed his guitar skills even more than before. As usual JoJo and Ringo fill the space with beat and music. Would go see them again in a heartbeat.
