About

Lorde is a Grammy-winning artist and cultural force, known for her genre-defying sound, introspective lyricism, and striking creative vision. Since her breakthrough with Pure Heroine in 2013, she has redefined the contours of modern pop--merging poetic storytelling with minimalist, emotionally resonant production. To date, she has amassed over 18 billion global streams and 18 million album sales worldwide.

In April 2025, she returned with What Was That, her first original release in four years. The single debuted to widespread acclaim and commercial success, hitting #1 on Spotify in the US -- her first US #1 on the platform since "Royals." It also landed at #3 in the UK and #5 globally, reaffirming her place at the forefront of pop music.

  • Lorde was unbelievable live!

by AdrienneVancouver on 4/18/14Boulevard Pool – Mophie Stage at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vega - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

Lorde sounded just like her album live! A true talent at only 17! It was an unforgettable show. Probably the best concert I've ever attended. I am obsessed with her! I wish I went to her second show too! I even bought two of her overpriced long sleeve tees just to show my support. I truly loved her performance, simply amazing.

  • Lorde was fantastic!

We got there a bit early and the line was a mile long to get in to the pool area. It moved quickly and soon we were enjoying the perfect April evening under the Vegas sky. Two drinks and a bottle water cost me $42.00 plus a random misc $3.50 L.E. tax that no one could explain what it was for. So I probably won't be buying many drinks at the pool concerts from now on. But the concert was fantastic and Lorde was an excellent performer. Wished it was on a Friday or Saturday night rather than a Tuesday. But well worth the hangover and being late to work the next day. :)

The live screen wasn't on, couldn't see the stage. She was singing over a track, and super awkward.

  • Lorde sounds amazing in person!

by Capriki on 4/18/14Boulevard Pool – Mophie Stage at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vega - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

The venue was nice, you get to stand in an emptied out swimming pool, just wished it had a little more of a sland to it from where I stood cause I'm short. But over all amazing LORDE sounds better life then on the radio or tv and dances pretty fun. Loved her show and LOVD her! See her life! :)

  • The best concert ever!

  • Lorde at the Cosmo Pool!!!

by Shelala08 on 4/17/14Boulevard Pool - Mophie Stage at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

The opening act, Lo Fang was really good. It wasn't as busy and loud as I was expecting (I'd never heard his music before), but he and his band are really talented, so it was entertaining. I'm a fan! Lorde's performance, while shorter than I would have liked, was so great and powerful! She really showed her appreciation for her audience. She is an amazing live performer. She is crazy in the best way! Great show!!

One of the best concerts I've ever been to!!! Lorde has such an amazing voice and I'm so glad I was able to attend her concert because it was just amazing all around! The lighting, the confetti, the images in the background, LORDE!!! Perfection.

  • Lorde's final performance

by Nickelbackthen on 3/30/14Fox Theater - Oakland - OaklandRating: 5 out of 5

She is a very talented young lady and we were fortunate to see her on her first major tour. Her opening act Low Fang consisted of a very talented front man. The duet at the end of the show was what I was hoping for but unexpected. She basically ran through her only album which consists of a nice variety of songs. Her voice does not have a lot of range but it is strong and sultry, which lends itself to the songs she has written. I am so glad we went to see this young, extremely talented lady. The Fox Theater was just stunning.

  • LORDE WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING

by mmbl on 3/30/14Fox Theater - Oakland - OaklandRating: 5 out of 5

The oakland fox theatre was beautiful. Drinks were a little pricey but they always are. Any seat is a good seat in this place. Sound was good. View was good. She rocked the stage. This was the best concert I've ever been too. Two thumbs up.

  • LORDE IS BEYOND PERFECTION

by LiahBeth on 3/30/14Fox Theater - Oakland - OaklandRating: 5 out of 5

Ok. Holy crap. So lorde was obviously not lip singing her because she sang her songs a little differently and wow! This girl CAN SING! I don't know anyone who can sing that good live. What I love about her is that she's her. She doesn't do crazy hair or outfits. She wore black slacks, a white t shirt and a black coat, her normal hair and makeup. She focuses more on her fans and singing which I loved. This girl hypes up her crowd. I was really scared after watching her Grammy performance cause honestly.. It wasn't her best and I honestly feel she took some good hard lessons from that cause her concert was amazing. I'd pay big bucks to go again.

  • Unforgettable night!

by Anonymous on 3/30/14Fox Theater - Oakland - OaklandRating: 5 out of 5

This whole night was just amazing. Words cannot explain how good Lorde was. I've been a huge fan before she got so popular and I'm obsessed with how well her concert was. I loved it so much and loved her opening act. Amazing.

  • LORDE --- EXTRAORDINARY TALENT!!!

by gregb on 3/30/14Fox Theater - Oakland - OaklandRating: 5 out of 5

Second night at the Fox Theatre in Oakland to see and hear the amazing young superstar LORDE showcase songs from her recent album. The show is a flawless artistic masterpiece with excellent mood setting lighting and video backdrop and LORDE center stage under a crystal chandelier dressed in black dressy jumpsuit and looking lovely and mature (adult) beyond her 17 years. I mention adult because she tells a story about being adult before singing RIBS. The show has a minimalistic feel to it and directly connects with you as an audience member. LORDE has a rich voice with great range and it sets the tone for her lyrics. This girl is one special artist to emerge in our world...gifted like an Amy Winehouse or Adele or any of the others so special. Hopefully we will hear and see her many more times in the future. Her opener Matthew Hemerlein (aka LO FANG) is also a star in the making. He is a gifted singer and musician and if he gets fully discovered should be a major entertainer. Like LORDE he presents himself as an independent yet vulnerable spirit

  • This lil girl rocks

by Nancyono on 3/30/14Fox Theater - Oakland - OaklandRating: 5 out of 5

Lorde has so Much energy and grace. She puts on a great show. Her opening band Lo-Fang was awesome too. Really loved their sound

  • Lorde is really a lord.

by LordeOoo on 3/29/14Fox Theater - Oakland - OaklandRating: 5 out of 5

I went to the concert by myself because i didnt want to miss out since i love her first album Pure Heroine. Lorde was simply amazing. There was no awkward moment throughout the show. She's so quirky and hot. Her movements match the beat of the music. She sounded just like the album, if not, better. Everything was great considering it's a small revenue. Next time i see her, i will be buying front row to her sold out stadium shows. <3

  • LORDE --- is PHENOMENAL!!!!!

by gregb on 3/29/14Fox Theater - Oakland - OaklandRating: 5 out of 5

LORDE brought her US tour to the Fox Theatre in Oakland on Wednesday and totally excited her loyal fans with a 75 minute performance that was beyond exceptional. She is such a gifted singer.....really mature beyond her years (17 yrs.old). Hard to compare her with anyone out there but gifted like the late Amy Winehouse and Adele...somewhat quirky...her movements on stage spasmatic to a degree....beautifully flowing hair....nicely attired in a red jumpsuit like outfit. This show has video screens....a chandellier.....minimalistic...yet artistic beyond description. The lighting accentuated the mood. A drummer and a DJ behind her supplying the backup accompaniment. She performed about 14 songs during the set.....was engaging and gracious to the audience....told a cool story about a party she threw at home when her parents were away. I have to say I was EXTREMELY IMPRESSED. This is no one-hit (or two-hit) wonder. LORDE is hopefully someone who will gift us with many more albums. Opener LO-FANG (Matthew Hemerlein) is a gift young guy....plays multiple instruments....great songs....and charming cool personality. He was the perfect opener for LORDE. Some of his moves made me think he is a male Annie Lennox!!! Very much one-to-watch. Bought his CD and it is defintely worth buying.

  • Lorde

Music was excellent Price for shirts was VERY high.

  • Lorde was 3 hours I will never get back!

    by dorriecs116 on 3/27/14WaMu Theater - SeattleRating: 2 out of 5

I have watched her on several different showing throughout the year. She seemed so in to it and loved to watch her. Watching her on stage was unbearable, I am not sure what she was doing or what had came over her. Her voice was amazing, spot on. The sound, horrible! It started slow, people were walking out half through the show!

  • Lorde was great!

by jmeredith on 3/27/14WaMu Theater - SeattleRating: 4 out of 5

Lorde put on a really great show! She sounded just like the record and the lights and visuals were quite entertaining. The reason this show gets a 4 is because there shouldn't have been seats in the floor area. I believe it should have been general admission so people could dance and get closer to the stage. I was disappointed in the set up at WaMu, but the concert itself was really fun!

  • Great Show!

by ACCR on 3/27/14WaMu Theater - SeattleRating: 4 out of 5

I was hesitant to go because this is not the type of music I listen to. I ended up going anyway and I am so glad I did. This was a great show and Lorde is an amazing talent. I would highly recommend seeing this show and I can't wait for her to come back!
