Dynamic, sophisticated, confident, excited, sincere, eager, powerful, interactive and engaged with her audience. Her notes flowed richly and energetically and she delivered refreshing and interesting variations to familiar favorites too, actually making them better. Beautiful voice, beautiful, classy poised young woman. Her light show was unexpected - vibrant, colorful, intense, always punctuating and complementing her warm intense notes and beats delivering the thrills. Gave us a peek into her style versatility in some unfamilar to us, but really fab numbers. Love the way she moves (flows and throws), not stagey orchestrated dance productions, but more about just "grooving." And the audience was all grooving. People of all ages grooving. We knew we were a part of something very special. It was a real happening to catch her on the first show out on this tour. She really captivated and elated the house. Could not have had a better time. We can't wait to do it again! Ella, please enjoy your visit here in the US, we do treasure your talent and the fun you bring, and please rest up and take good care of yourself and your amazing voice. Fans, get seats as close to the stage as possible. But if you can only get seats farther back, you still will have an awesome experience anywhere in the house.

Lorde was incredible; the opening band, however, was not. It was 30-45 minutes of the exact same type of music. Beautiful, yes...but after the 9th or 10th selection, it became overkill.

This has to be one of my favorite concerts I've ever been to. Everything about her performance was brilliant- her vocals, the light show, the effects, the setlist, the personal connection with the crowd, and her undying passion that she puts behind every song. She had me from the very beginning when she came out onto the stage in a black cape and sung Glory and Gore. It was my very first time being at the Mann's amphitheater and despite my seats being less than satisfactory directly behind the light board people (I ended up dodging the ushers while going from empty seat to empty seat throughout the performance), I really enjoyed the venue with its open-air seating and amazing acoustics. Lorde's performance itself was quite dynamic, with her multiple wardrobe changes and variations of mood between her songs. Her light show and the effects were some of the best I've ever seen as well. Overall, this was just an amazing show and I would say the performance (definitely not my seats) were worth paying the money I did and I would see her again in a heartbeat.

Gosh, if I could relive Lorde's performance again and again-I would!!! This was by far my favorite concert yet. She has spectacular stage presence and knows how to give one heck of a show!! I have never seen an artist portray her music on stage like Lorde did...fascinating and captivating--I couldn't look away!! I am completely thrilled with this performance and will be looking into attending more events at the Mann in the near future. Bravo!! (Or should I say 'Bravado')

I'm a Mom that gets "stuck" taking her kids to different concerts, I had no expectations. After seeing Lorde I have such a new found respect for her. She reminded me of the concerts that I use to go to where the preformer actually sang! She explained why and what was going through her mind as she wrote the songs. I loved that! She thanked everyone and was so gracious. Then she kept going the whole time, never stopped. I felt like I really got my money's worth and believe me... I haven't felt like that in a long time.

Not often that a 10-year-old and her 49-year-old mother both love the same music, but Lorde was amazing! She really played to the crowd (in a fun way) and has a wonderful stage presence. I kind of wish there was less emphasis on the bass notes so we could have heard more of the vocals that were drowned out at times, but overall, it was a fabulous night.

Opener: Majical Clouds: never heard of them but I was impressed! Bought their album. Lorde: absolutely amazing, but I'm biased. Venue: very cool place, tailgating friendly, great staff. GREAT SEATS

The Lorde show was awesome! She had great stage presence, looked much more comfortable on stage than she did in her on-air appearances that I've seen on TV. The lighting and stage production were minimalist but impressive, and of course her voice was outrageous. She talked a lot between songs about her inspirations and the songs' meanings - sort of a cross between a concert and a Storytellers episode. I loved every minute of it - a truly memorable show!

The mann center was such a fun place for a concert and Lorde was amazing live. I recommend Lorde and the Mann center to whoever gets a chance

Short set list!! Whole show was over by 9:45! Could have been longer or more opening bands for price of ticket.
