A Detroit native, Loni has been working the comedy scene for eight years. She was awarded the Jury Prize for Best Stand Up at the 2003 US Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen & voted one of Variety's 2003 10 Comics to Watch. Loni's movie credits include starring roles in the films With or Without You & Soul Plane. Her television credits include regular appearances on Chelsea Lately as well as guest starring roles on UPN's Girlfriends & Cuts. Loni played Viola in the NBC Comedy Thick and Thin & she plays Lunch Lady Rose on the Nickelodeon show Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide. Loni has appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn, Comedy Central's Premium Blend, Comedy Central's Weekends at the DL, & The Best Damn Sports Show Period. She has been seen on VH1's I Love the 70's/80's/90's. Loni has a half-hour standup special on Comedy Central that originally premiered in the spring of 2007.

First time seeing Loni live doing standup. She had us in stitches....So, so funny. What a great way to spend a Friday night. I would definitely go and see her whenever she comes back to Boston.

It was too close to the people whose table was behind us and we felt like we were sitting on top of the people who say beside us. The way it was set up was weird. But loni made up for the wilburs weird seating because she wass AWESOME and it made me accept the seats
