LL COOL J is a two-time Grammy Award-winning hip-hop icon whose trailblazing career is singular in its longevity and accolades: 2021 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, millions of albums sold, the first rapper to receive a Kennedy Center Honor, successful actor and author, NAACP Image Award winner, co-founder/CEO of the Rock The Bells hip-hop festival and so much more. LL COOL J exploded onto the scene in the 1980s with pioneering hit singles like the rap-rock hybrid “Rock the Bells” and beatbox classics like “I Need a Beat” and “I Need Love.” The rapper’s confrontational, occasionally romantic lyricism would propel the genre to new heights on 1990’s multi-platinum Mama Said Knock You Out. Considered one of rap’s first superstars, LL COOL J has performed on sold-out tours with legends like Run-D.M.C., Janet Jackson and the Beastie Boys.

Great up beat show, I really enjoyed the lights, sound effects, performer, and theater.
He is always a good entertainer, and I was definitely entertained. He brought back memories, made me love hip hop again, and just he always brings sexy back!!
he started nearly an HOUR LATE and provided a ONE-HOUR PERFORMANCE!!! so the show did not sell out. not my fault. i still deserved a FULL show! for nearly $75 per ticket, i felt cheated. while i LUV ll and say that he DID give a decent performance (walking back and forth between stage left and stage right singing to a track), he is NOT worth $75 per hour for my money (not for an impersonal concert). probably will not see his show, again. nonetheless, i STILL have MUCH luv for him!
The concert was amazing! I have loved LL since I was a teenager! He still has it, it rocked for an entire hour nonstop!
Although he was good - starting the concert almost 40 minutes late is unprofessional and inexcusable without an announcement.
The concert was great except for one thing. I had 3rd row seats but lots of people from seats much farther back swarmed the isles and the front of the stage. If I pay for seats up front I would hope the security staff would not allow people to block the views of people who bought the most expensive seats. At times there were so many people it was hard to just stand at our own seats.
I think the LL Cool J concert was great!!! I had high expectations, and he didn't disappoint!!!
If you want to hear all of youf favorite LL hits, go see this show. It is pretty low tech. No dancers, no lights, no big fanfare. Just a lot of my man.. LL COOL J! If you want lip lickin, he will deliver. If you want him to deliver the hits just the way you remember? He will not disappoint. The only downside is that he did not show or flash one single ab. I know that he is not as cut as he was in his 20's or 30's but I am sure that his 40+ year old abs would not have disappointed either. We can all be our own worse critic.
THE BEST CONCERT I HAVE EVER BEEN TO AND HIS PERFORMANCE WUZ BREATH TAKING. jUST CANT WAIT TILL HE COMES BACK TO THE CHICAGO AREA. BEST UNDERSTAND THAT HE HAD MY HEAD SPRUNG!!!!!!!!
Show was awesome! He's still got it & hotter than ever if possible. House of Blues is a great location & able to see from anywhere in room. Would def recommend to others.
Overall it was a great show, however the seats were terrible (no elbow room).
it was for my mom she enjoyed and I didnt think I would but I enjoyed it as well ! very well performed
We were in general admission STANDING ONLY ROOM. So, to start the show an hour late did not make me feel great --I started to leave. LL was not what I expected. Seems he is still trying to act younger than his age, or I'm just acting my age. Songs are still great though.
I would go see him again if he came back to New Jersey.
Even with LL showing up 2 hours late, :-( (unusual for him) I enjoyed myself. His opening act, (Dj Diamond Kuts) was awesome and kept the crowd occupied while we waited. This was my third time seeing him in the last 3 years and he definitely does a WONDERFUL show! I would certainly go and see him again. Next time I'll wear comfortable shoes, just in case :-)!!!
The show was awesome! The sounds and beats were pumping just an old school party in the cafe. LL did most of his stuff from the early years as well as later stuff. The mix of songs was very nice.
LL was really good as he always was but having DJ Z Trip with him just took the whole thing over the top. This was edgier and didn't seem too rehearsed, it was fun. LL talked more than he has in the past and that was cool, too. Can't wait for the next show!
This show was off da chain. Took my wife and she had a blast. It was a straight party!!! Definitely a great show
LL was unbelievable. I've seen him 4 times now and he just keeps getting better. He was fantastic. I
My second time seeing LL in Atlantic city at the house of blues. All i got to say is if you are a LL fan you must see him in concert.
