About

+LIVE+ have sold over 23 million albums worldwide and earned two number one albums: Throwing Copper and Secret Samadhi. Their catalog is filled with such gems as "Lightning Crashes," "I Alone," "All Over You" and "Lakini's Juice," which live on today as classics on rock radio. Throwing Copper--which the band celebrated in 2019 with a deluxe 25th anniversary edition along with a global tour across major festivals, amphitheaters and arenas--produced the band's biggest single, "Lightning Crashes," which was #1 at Modern Rock radio for ten consecutive weeks.

Throwing Copper reached #1 on the Billboard Top 200 and eventually surpassed sales of 10 million albums sold, with Rolling Stone honoring the album with placement on their list, "1994: The 40 Best Records From Mainstream Alternative's Greatest Year." Secret Samadhi (1997) immediately shot to #1 on the Billboard Top 200 and eventually went double platinum. The release of the platinum-selling The Distance to Here (1999) turned +LIVE+ into an international powerhouse and moved the band from arenas into stadiums. +LIVE+ has been and remains today a global concert juggernaut.

  • Great venue, left before main act

by KMG on 9/1/25Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course - GrantvilleRating: 4 out of 5

1st time at the venue at Hollywood Casino at Penn National. Easy parking in the casino garage (free), then took the shuttle to the venue. Perfect. Food offerings were great. Typical prices but LARGE portions! Seating was a pleasant experience. We didn't dress warm enough for the cooling evening (obviously our fault) but the second act (Collective Soul) simply wouldn't finish and get off the stage. Left after one song by Live when they finally took the stage at 9:45. Concert started at 7:00. Shuttle driver mentioned that the venue was going to pay a fine that night, because the concerts were to end by 10:00 due to noise ordinance! All in all, ENJOYED THE VENUE! Will definitely go again.

  • Great show-great venue

    by G>EVTH on 8/31/25Rating: 4 out of 5

My high school BFF and I went mainly to see Live and Collective Soul as they were huge parts of our soundtrack in high school in the 90s and beyond. We got there the last two songs of Our Lady Peace and, while they were not what we listed to on the regular, their energy and sound were phenomenal. Enter Collective Soul. Wow (head exploding emoji). They totally killed it. The way they interacted with the audience and played so many bangers we were on our feet and hoarse by the end of the show and riding cloud nine. I think they played quite awhile for an opener. I have to say, after Collective Soul, I was slightly disappointed with Live. They played a many amazing songs from Throwing Copper (one of the best albums of all time IMHO) and of course Dolphins Cry. I don’t know, I guess the energy that was evident with Collective Soul was lacking. The Venue: easy to get to, small enough where there wasn’t a bad seat in the house but we were in the fourth row stage left and were packed like sardines. Trying to get in our out of our seat was a feat of acrobatics I did not know my 46 year old body was capable of, even with flipping the seats up. The staff were great, super helpful and literally walked us to our seats.

  • Beautiful venue and good times

by 🎶 music on 8/25/25Thunder Ridge Nature Arena - RidgedaleRating: 3 out of 5

Great venue - we got upgraded to floor seats after the first act, which was great! The opening act didn’t have any video, so we couldn’t see them really from the lawn seats 🫣 Collective Soul absolutely blew it out of the water and exceeded all my expectations!!! I do wish they could have shown them on the big screen as well - we’ve seen that at this venue a few times before and its nice to see the finer details… Waited a long while for Live to come out - amazing sound, but announced he was drunk basically out of the gate and some of their performance felt a little less than I expected…overall good night - would see Collective Soul again in a heartbeat! They were really putting on a show for the crowd ❤️

  • Great Venue

I would encourage anyone that has a chance to see a concert at Thunder Ridge in Ridgedale Missouri. This is an amazing venue.

  • Great Music Poor Venue

by degalover on 8/25/25Thunder Ridge Nature Arena - RidgedaleRating: 4 out of 5

All things considered, the music, performance, sound quality, and production including lights was excellent. The venue has issues with access to the venue itself and then when you we did get there we had handicapped parking. It still had to be, and I am just guessing, more than a half mile to our seats. Half of that was uphill and the other half was downstairs, no ramps. The stairs were on both sides of the grass area, no stairs down the center. When we left the show we had to walk back to the side and up the stairs. Then back down to the car. The seating area below the grass was on level ground, not terraced. Most of it was on gravel. It had interlocking folding chairs. We will not be going back to that venue again. By the way, the venue was Thunder Ridge Nature Arena in Ridgedale, MO. It is just south of Branson, MO.

  • Collective soul rocked the house

  • Good, but arena needs changes

by Tara on 8/25/25Thunder Ridge Nature Arena - RidgedaleRating: 2 out of 5

The bands were a little late starting, not a big deal. Our Lady Peace and Collective Soul were great!!!! But, we were very confused as to why Live didn't take the stage sooner. After around 45 min of waiting after CS exited the stage, our bunch and MANY other's left. No reason to sit and wait that long. Very discouraging! Also, parking is very backwards! Those who arrive sooner, should get the parking closer to the entrance.. not further away. The burgers were disgusting...sitting in a warmer with lettuce and tomato. It was runny, slimy, and not appealing in the least!! Threw $15 directly in the trash. The water to fill a bottle up, is warm! Even a water fountain stays cooler than what we got. Love the venue!! But, it really needs some changes on a few things

  • Collective Soul & Live Rocked!

  • The Headliners Can Still Rock

by Becky on 8/24/25Bethel Woods Center for the Arts - BethelRating: 4 out of 5

The headliners were very good, but we came late because we had other commitments that day and when we showed up (about 45 minutes after the openers started) we missed almost 2 full opener sets! At other concerts we’ve attended, each opener plays for at least 25-35 minutes and then it takes another 30 minutes for the stagehands to change the set-up — I really wanted to see the 2nd opener!

  • Extraordinary!!

by Gabby on 8/23/25Germania Insurance Amphitheater - AustinRating: 5 out of 5

Last night was absolutely unforgettable! 🎶 Seeing Our Lady Peace, Collective Soul, and Live all in one night felt like reliving the soundtrack of my life. 💜 Our Lady Peace kicked it off with so much energy and set the vibe right away. Then Collective Soul came out and had the entire crowd singing along to every single song—I had goosebumps the whole time. And when Live hit the stage as headliner… WOW. 🔥 The power in their performance, the connection with the crowd, the nostalgia mixed with pure rock magic—it was everything I hoped for and more. I left that concert with no voice, a full heart, and memories I’ll never forget. If you ever get the chance to see them, go. Don’t even think about not going!

  • A wonderful night

by Michele on 8/21/25713 Music Hall - HoustonRating: 5 out of 5

It was awesome. Especially when Ed came out strutting the cane and glitter on his chest. Live was excellent as well. Our Lady Peace was delicious. I so enjoyed my night of riding the rail and rocking out to Live, Collective Soul, and Our Lady Peace. I'll be back for Seether and Blue October to 713 Music Hall.

  • Worth the wait

by iamfirewolf on 8/20/25Germania Insurance Amphitheater - AustinRating: 5 out of 5

It's been a desire of mine for a while to see LIVE and it was worth the wait! I've been around since the 90's with LIVE and never got the opportunity to see them back them due to life changes but I was so grateful to see them perform new and old songs that I know by heart!

  • Depends on your taste

by Rache on 8/20/25Germania Insurance Amphitheater - AustinRating: 2 out of 5

Our lady peace was amazing! In my personal opinion they should have been headliner or at least 2nd in the line up. The energy started on a high then dwindled down by the time LIVE came on. We didn’t stay the entire time. First time I ever left a show that early. We saw LIVE play 3 Songs and left

  • Three great bands in one event

by Ana on 8/19/25Germania Insurance Amphitheater - AustinRating: 5 out of 5

The bands were awesome. Quality musicians at work. Good energy and dynamic with the crowd. The venue was great. Good food, so many beverage locations (really important because of the heat), a lot of restroom availability.

  • Fantastic

  • Fantastic but LOUD

by AR on 8/18/25713 Music Hall - HoustonRating: 5 out of 5

My first experience at the 713 Music Hall in Houston, Texas was the +Live+ and Collective Soul event August 15, 2025. All the artists that night performed fabulously. +Live+ was very engaging with fun audience banter and expressive showmanship during the performance. I'm slightly less familiar with Live's music, and at the volume of the performance some of Live's was nearly unrecognizable, which, for me, detracts from the experience. I'm not sure whether their volume was actually louder than Collective Soul's or I was just able to better imagine all the complex parts I know to be in CS's songs even when my ears can no longer discern them. In my opinion all performances would sound better at less ear-splitting volumes, and I recalled being more satisfied with the musical quality of the show when I previously saw +Live+ perform at an outdoor venue. Maybe I just have to wear earplugs.
