Chairs were great. Sturdy comfortable and well priced. Stood in line way way longer than we all should have because staff was disorganized and totally inefficient. And clearly didn’t give a shit about not working while we all waited.
We stood in line for over 45 minutes to get our chairs that we had PRE PAIDFOR. when we reach the front we were told by the young lady working there that her scanning system was not working and that there was nothing she could do to give us a chair. So we are out of the $20 and we’re uncomfortable while waiting for the concert to start. I felt extremely bad for the young people working at this location because they were not supported by management or empowered to make decisions.
If you are like us and you want to get to the concert early because you want a good spot on the lawn the rental chairs are great. Sturdy and can handle a large person! We are always up during the show and then just got to walk out and leave the chair behind. Love it
Love that you do not have to carry these from your car in the parking lot to the lawn and even better, When the concert is over I just leave them where I was sitting and someone else comes to pick them up.
The fact that I can no longer bring in my own chair and am forced to rent one (or not have a chair at all) is very disappointing. Although the reason stated is to "reduce contact", we all know it is just a money grab. In addition, you pretty much have to purchase ahead of time if you expect to get one - we watched and everything was sold out well before the 2nd act, let alone the headliner, even started.
The lawn chairs were way better than stadium seats. They were comfortable, well taken care of, and I loved that the section for the lawn chairs had so much room for space while also having an awesome view of the stage. The big screen was definitely easier than the stage but you can either see the musicians up close and be annoyed with being smushed by others or have space/comfort and see them from farther away.
Having learned the hard way at the Tim McGraw concert that you have to purchase/reserve a chair in advance, I did so this time. Easy enough to do and no complaints about the event staff, but I've been going to concerts at the amphitheater for years, and I have always brought my own lawn chair. I hate the change in the policy that does not allow for outside chairs. Seems only to be a way to nickel and dime patrons and will add significant cost to my patronage as a Lawn Pass holder.
So first the gate opened 2 hours late. We were directed to another line after waiting in the Lawn line for an hour. There were way too many new artist performers. On top of that Summer walker came out near 10pm. She was very monotonous in her performance but I’ll give her a break since she announced that she was sick. After about 5 or 6 songs she decided to exit the stage without notice to let another artist perform. She’s one of my daughter’s favorite artist and she was so disappointed she asked to leave!
