  • A great Night of Boxing

by HarveyTMZ on 12/20/16Downtown Las Vegas Events Center - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

The Las Vegas boxers were excellent and brought a big crowd and excitement. The kidney/liver punch knockout was a first for me. The title fight was entertaining for the entire ten rounds. Plus we saw George Bell the tallest man in the United States.

  • Roy Jones Jr absolutely mastered boxing line up

by NotEasilyImpressed on 10/21/16Downtown Las Vegas Events Center - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

I am huge boxing fan for decades. It has been a very long time since I have seen such a well-produced lineup. The venue is not too large and very well designed overall. "Friday Night Fights" has exceptional promise for a traditional boxing come back. Roy Jones Jr productions and the Downtown at The D Hotel Las Vegas is magical combination. Hope see many more events just like this.

I've been to 2 of these events and they were both outstanding!

  • Live boxing

by kingkong12763 on 1/4/16Sands Bethlehem Event Center - BethlehemRating: 5 out of 5

Great time with my son. Great fights, affordable and not a bad seat in the house. Met Larry Holmes, my favorite fighter ever! Love going to the Sand Bethlehem for boxing.

  • The night never ended!

by LimeRidge on 1/2/16Sands Bethlehem Event Center - BethlehemRating: 5 out of 5

There were many more matches than marketed with the ticket. Even after the TV broadcasted main event was over after 11:00 pm you could stay for three more bouts! The seating was comfortable and easy to get around. My highlight was meeting and chatting with the GREAT Larry Holmes who was in the bar area casually visiting with fans.

  • Great Event

    by haze313 on 10/26/13Gibson Hall - Del MarRating: 5 out of 5

This was an excellent showcase and I recommend anyone in the San Diego area who wants to see great up and coming fighters go to this exhibition. The food and drink service was great, the fighters were great, and the atmosphere was great. Can't wait until the next event.

  • Live Boxing Events from Barron Entertainment

by SDSpaceCowboy on 9/9/13Del Mar Fairgrounds - Del MarRating: 4 out of 5

The first bout started a little late and the event center at the fairgrounds was a bit sticky with the hot weather, but all in all, once the fights began, the show proved to be excellent. Four tremendous bouts, culminating in a much-anticipated ten-round bantanweight championship main event that was good enough easily to be a televised main event from anywhere in the country! Even though I sat row 1 ringside I noticed tickets started at just $25 for elevated bleachers with excellent sightlines...seemed like a good value. Beverages were cold and easy to get, food was hot. Ring card girls were decent eye candy...it was awesome when they threw out sponsored T-shirts and sport bottles from the ring (they did it a couple of times!). The live mariachi players featured during the pre-show was a nice, fun touch. Next live boxing event scheduled at the fairgrounds by the same local promoter is Friday night, October 25th. I'd definitely recommend it!

  • Danny O'Conner Boxing Was Not Planned Very Well

by PubMan on 8/14/12Gillette Stadium - FoxboroughRating: 2 out of 5

The boxing event was not planned very well. We got no brochure as to how many bouts there would be, how long each bout would be or who the boxers would be. I purchased tickets in the 120 section because on the web site this is where the boxing was to be held. They changed the location of the boxing so that I had to change seats. It would have been nice if we had informatio on the fighters. Their record, name, weight, boxing record, and some summary.

  • Boxing at Rising Star - poorly run

by beekeeper4 on 4/23/12Rising Star Casino formerly Grand Victoria Casino - Rising SunRating: 1 out of 5

I will not be going back to Rising Start Casino. The boxing itself was good. The management of the event was awful. The announcer apparently had never seen boxing before; hard to understand, not informative, did not get the crowd into it. The ring girl had no idea what to do. The ring cards were hand done - and not always with the right card for the next round. They kept running out of beer. The only selections were Budwieser and Bud Light - ick.

  • live boxing

by andy626 on 3/19/12Morongo Casino Resort and Spa - CabazonRating: 5 out of 5

Great I had a good time no problems. Got to meet a lot of known boxers and I would definitely want to do it again.

  • fights were good!

by burren on 3/19/12Morongo Casino Resort and Spa - CabazonRating: 4 out of 5

  • by CEVP on 1/1/12Morongo Casino Resort and Spa - CabazonRating: 4 out of 5

Gary Shaw did a great job. Good match up's. Always enjoy a Showtime covered event. The Taylor fight was stopped a little early, however, still a really good fight. This is the second time we've attended a Morongo site boxing event, first time was James Tony, purchased (10) tickets, and this fight, (4) tickets where purchased. BOTH TIMES, our seats where not available. Had to be moved three times during this event. Morongo needs to care more about their events when providing the venue location.

  • No Programs

    by Ro11 on 8/18/11Hard Rock Live - HollywoodRating: 3 out of 5

Very good card! No Programs were available for boxing card. Attend number of boxing matches, never has the promotion team Not provide a program for fights. You figure a promotion team called DreamTeam, would provide information on up and coming fighters. Once again, got my money's worth, however, could have used a program.

  • Very disappointing

by sunnymom3 on 6/21/11Grand Victoria Casino - Rising SunRating: 1 out of 5

Paid $98 for 2 tickets to watch 2 short boxing matches. Stood in line for 45 minutes and waited about an additional 1 hours to see about 30 minutes worth of boxing. Was very disappointed for the amount of money I paid. Will not go back to another one.

  • Don't waste your time!

by Laxmi on 6/21/11Grand Victoria Casino - Rising SunRating: 1 out of 5

I got these tickets for my husband and I for our Annivesary, he loves boxing. The doors opened late, the event started late, and to top it off 5 of the 7 fights were cancelled. Not pleased! I would have rather the event been cancelled all together and rescheduled than to have seen such a bad match between Smith and the Cincinnati boy. Terrible! I want my money back!!!!!
