I love Steve Van Zandt. His music catalogue is amazing. He had written so many great songs. It's a crying shame he doesn't know how to construct a good setlist for his concert. Way too much off of the new album, which isn't that good. Almost the whole album is performed at the concert. Not fair to be that self indulgent. Only 3 songs that he wrote for SS Johnny were done, and one was "Little Girl so Fine" which is one of the lamest songs you could ask for when you think of all the great songs that could have been performed in it's place. Also, only one song from the "Men Without Women" album, which, in many opinions, is his masterwork. My wife, daughter and I left the show early as the setlist was that bad. Steve (and Bruce for that matter) need to learn that their new stuff isn't that great and they should think about what would really excite their fans. In Steve's case it is not doing the new album in it's entirety and only one song from their best album ever. In retrospect, I wish the show that I went to was one of the shows that he canceled. He is great, his band is amazing, he simply doesn't know how to craft a good setlist. His new album simply isn't good enough to represent half of the concert.
