  • Wow, great performance!

    by JD73 on 4/12/22Akron Civic Theatre - AkronRating: 5 out of 5

First got exposed to Little Feat's music as a teenager in the last 80's, via my brother's record collection. Never got to see any form of the band live until now. I was not disappointed! Wow, what a band. Bill Payne, Kenny Gradney, Sam Clayton, and Fred Tackett are joined by the new blood in the band - Tony Leone on drums, and Scott Sharrard on vocals and guitar. They really gel and sound terrific! The concert was a great celebration of the Waiting For Columbus live album at a wonderful venue, Akron Civic Theater. Opener was a real treat too - British singer/slide guitar player Jack Broadbent, along with his father Mick on bass!

  • Roll right through the night

I've been following Little Feat since the 70's, never got to see Lowell George but have seen every other lineup many times since they came back in 1988. This was the closest they've ever sounded to the classic late-70s sextet. New guitarist/vocalist Scott Sharrard nails the LG vocals and slide parts, and new drummer Tony Leone not only channels the brilliant anarchy of Richie Hayward's drumming but also sings the late Paul Barrere's parts and does them justice. Founder Billy Payne and longtime members Fred Tackett, Kenny Gradney and Sam Clayton were reenergized by the new blood and played with more fire than I've seen from them in years. This band is BACK with a vengeance. Don't miss them if they come your way.

  • I can’t even hear the words!

by Little Feat Lover on 3/31/22Atlanta Symphony Hall - AtlantaRating: 1 out of 5

Way too much distortion!! We were sitting on the floor 15 rows back from the stage and the instruments and voices sounded like a massive mess of confusion. Our group was so disappointed. We were really looking forward to the concert.

  • Great show but...

    by Tank-R on 3/30/22Rating: 2 out of 5

Great performance by Lttle Feat, really liked Amy Helm. But, the sound was exactly the opposite. It was so loud and distorted it was hard to even know what songs they were playing. Wish it could have been much better. The venue needs to work on their acoustics. We will think twice about another show there.

  • Band was hot, sound was not.

    by Tank-R on 3/30/22Rating: 2 out of 5

You would think the Atlanta Symphony Hall would have superior sound but it is terrible. After waiting decades to see them, we were very disappointed in the quality of the acoustics at this place. Distorted, too loud, poor sound. The band put on a good show, but their sound engineer should be let go. Ticket price way too high to endure a couple hours of blaring noise. I love Little Feat, but will never go back to the Atlanta Symphony Hall.

  • A-M-A-Z-I-N-G Concert!!

by convoyhelm on 3/27/22Atlanta Symphony Hall - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

Expectations were low, given how long it's been since these guys have been around, but they did not disappoint and this was one of the better concerts I've seen in years. I highly recommend seeing the show and will definitely see them again if/when they return to Atlanta.

  • Great show

Better than i thought it would. Venue sounded great. The new additions on guitar and drums proved more than worthy. Great album to celebrate

  • Got 2nd row seats mid stage! Best concert I’ve ever seen.

by DWF on 3/25/22Atlanta Symphony Hall - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

I’m 62 and listened to Waiting for Columbus almost continuously for many years. I know every song, I was drumming along, playing bass and singing. The original members were awesome, Billy Payne is a special talent! I took some videos that I will always keep and watch. Simply incredible!

  • Little Feat was awesome!!!

Great show!! Venue was great and sound was perfect!!

  • Good Vibe, Horrible Sound

    by g. m. on 3/25/22Atlanta Symphony Hall - AtlantaRating: 2 out of 5

As a fan, I've seen many great Little Feat shows. I was excited with anticipation for this one in the acoustically perfect Symphony Hall. Unfortunately, the sound mixing was absolutely terrible and the volume so cranked that instruments and vocals were indistinguishable. So bad that you could not even understand what Bill Payne was saying between the songs. A real shame! On the other hand, the opening act of Amy Helm and band was toned down and the sound mix much better so each instrument could be heard and the vocals understood. Why the same was not applied to Feat is unexplainable. Overall, a real disappointment.

  • Little Feat in Atlanta

by Mike on 3/25/22Atlanta Symphony Hall - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

One of the best concerts I have ever been to, and I have been to a ton in my 65 years. The talent on the stage was amazing. Like a group of artists sharing their craft.

  • Wow, Rock and Roll Royalty

by Sundreamrider on 3/25/22Atlanta Symphony Hall - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

These folks are tight as ever and delivered the goods all around. It was good to see The Band's horn section with members of the Allman Brothers playing with Little Feat! Rock-n-Roll Royalty for sure!. Amy Helm absolutely warmed us up as the opening act and also paid tribute to her dad Levon Helm, this was a real family affair. Sooooo glad to have been there!!! I noticed some twenty-somethings in the show and asked what brought them there, they said: "We know good music when we hear it". The legend will live on!

  • They still sound great after 45 years!

    by B. S. on 3/25/22Atlanta Symphony Hall - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

Little Feat sounded amazing! With half of the band now in their 70's, you could expect them to slow down a little, but not at all. They sounded sharp, looked like they loved what they were doing, and played for more than two hours. For those who wanted to hear their greatest hits, this was the show to see.

  • Atlanta Symphony Hall needs a better sound system

by DW on 3/25/22Atlanta Symphony Hall - AtlantaRating: 3 out of 5

Atlanta Symphony Hall’s sound system was deficient in so many ways. I could tell the band was tight and delivering good music, but the sound quality at mid floor level was muddy, indistinct, devoid of clarity and separation between instruments, full of unwanted resonances in the mid bass region, distorted, and sadly detracted from the otherwise quality performance delivered by Little Feat. I compared notes with a friend who saw a jazz ensemble there, and he said virtually the same thing regarding the sound quality. I will not return to this venue.

  • Lowell Was There In Spirit

by Grayboe on 3/25/22Atlanta Symphony Hall - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

What a concert…these guys get better with age (don’t we all)…I’d swear I heard Lowell join in from the other side on the “Dixie Chicken” chorus…and yes “we made all the hot spots, and our money flowed like wine!!!!”

  • Best Album ever !

by Curly Dog on 3/25/22Atlanta Symphony Hall - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

Little Feat played their “Waiting for Columbus”album to perfection ! Obviously everyone misses Lowell George but this show that they put on in Atlanta was simply amazing ! The vibe in the concert hall was electric and the crowd was dancing the whole time ! Little Feat will live on forever !

  • terrific

by old folks boogie on 3/15/22The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 4 out of 5

great experience, venue, seats, parking ,the feat ,turn up the heat,

  • Great music but flashing light overload.

    by billn262 on 3/13/22The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 4 out of 5

The music was great but there was no need to flash, change colors, twirl and spin to change ever 3-5 seconds. I suppose it made anyone tripping out happy.

  • Bad Sound

    by H. H. on 3/13/22The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 4 out of 5

We love the Chicago Theater, but the seats we bought, far left (facing the stage), row FF were in front of speakers. All we heard really was the bass, which is a shame. Lesson learned, buy tickets towards the center or back.

  • Great show

by Morley on 3/13/22The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

They played the full Waiting for Columbus album in order of the recording. Really a great show with the whole crowd singing along.
