50 years of playing together pays off. They still sound great and nearly everyone in there were on the feat for the entire show.
Lowell George is probably rolling over in his grave...
Beyond expectations. All time great album, great musicians and one of the best rock and roll crowds I’ve been apart of. 55+ crowd at The Chicago Theatre on their feet the entire show.
Little Feat still got it!! Gave us their all show was awesome!!
Sparkling interplay by incredible musicians, Little Feat is gritty and better than the rest ! Tremendous Band that draws on blues , country, jazz ,blues , folk ,roots rock and bayou Americana and play it all brilliantly and can move between or blend them together in a wonderful musical gumbo ! This band stands up fine with The Grateful Dead , Allman Brothers and The Band and I actually like them better ! The most underrated band on the planet who kept everyone on there feet roar 2 hours , this show was in Chicago and I will see them again in Phoenix in August!
Beautiful venue & great that 3 original LF members can still jam! Such a deep cannon of songs….would like to hear more of them, rather than strictly follow WFC album. No complaints….glad I could share with my kids who loved it & will see them this year again at Summer Camp fest in Illinois.
The Kalamazoo State Theatre venue was perfect to experience Little Feat. Big enough to enjoy with all your new friends, but intimate enough to feel really connected. Smooth entrance procedures with several texts ahead of the show informing us of expectations. Concession line waits were reasonable, as were restroom lines.
It was everything I had hoped for! The band was very tight for only being the second show on the tour!! I wish they could go on forever!!!!
Excellent show! Exceeded my expectations. The State Theater was a wonderful venue. The newest band members of Little Feat did an outstanding job delivering the music.
We arrived at State in Kalamazoo, we had our vaccine cards but not our ID (had left at hotel). We wear masks in crowds without being made to. Pleading to no avail we walked away with me crying. Trip was a memorial to my sister who we had last seen Little Feat with.
I'm certain that the band was excellent. It has been one of our favorites for years. The sound system was horrible. None of the lyrics could be understood. It was pretty much just noise because you couldn't tell what song was being played. I believe the issue was having the sound board on the stage next to the band instead of down on the floor. Hopefully that will be changed for future performances. We left after what was believed to be the third number.
Glad the weather cooperated that night,,,,,tele-tickets worked good.....loved the venue.... parking easy, and of course Little Feat was GREAT!
I am a life-long fanatic of Little Feat. I have seen this band 77 times, through each and every incarnation of the band. This version of the band is to put it simply, "amazing". There is a new birth, new energy that I have not witnessed in years. Tony is Richie's adopted son, and Scott brings the best of Lowell and Duane Allman in his slide and his voice, while somewhat similar to Lowell, has made each song his own and the emotion is sincere. It is amazing to me that Fred is 75 years old. His playing is as sweet, smooth as ever. Kenny is still the best and most underrated bass player. He, Sam and Tony are the beat of the Feat. Billy is still the keyboard king. The band is the ultimate of "jam bands, and the master of so many different types of music." The only fault that I saw at this concert, was not necessarily the band, but for some reason the overall sound seemed off, and I think that the venue maybe at fault there. Overall - this was a great night, people were dancing and no one, no one left without a smile on their faces!
Absolutely incredible show. Little Feat is in top form. New energy from guitarist/vocalist Scott Sharrard has them hitting on all cylinders.
Great Band!! Great Night!!
Little Feat was phenomenal! Sounded so good and crisp and didn’t miss a beat!
saw Little Feat at Kalamazoo State Theater. Waiting For Columbus Tour. Excellent performance. They did the whole album, plus an encore. Totally worth it.
I wanted to like it. But no clarity in the sound in the mezzanine. Bill Payne’s voice was a muddled murmur whether singing or talking, and his keyboards were buried in the messy mix. I went to the main floor awhile to listen and the sound was better there but still not great. Wished the room sound was better
Little Feat put on a great show tone Kalamazoo State Theater is a great venue
