This was such an intimate concert. It felt comfortable and personable. The performances was awesome!! Lisa's voice is amazing.

My only complaint is that the Ritz Theater didn’t offer wine 🍷. The show was phenomenal! 😊

1st Timers celebrating our 21st anniversary! Longtime fans of Lisa Fisher! I grew up in Harlem listening to radio stations WBLS & 98.7 Kiss FM, stations had the song, How Can I Ease the Pain on repeat all day long! I am a vocalist and Lisa Fisher is a standard we vocalists all strive for with the pitch, passion, skill, delivery, dynamics and more that Lisa Fisher delivers in every song. The ambiance was beautiful, staff amazing! Our waitress was charming, fun and professional (had beautiful gray and black hair); we sat in the very front at the stage. We thank our waitress again for helping us relax (1st public even since COVID lockdown). Knowing all were Vaccinated was comforting. The Manager was very personable and very accommodating to my husband and I; also made sure we found our way to the front of the building before the show (thanks again Sir 😉). We will return.

All the staff that greeted us as we arrived, showed our Covid vaccine cards, tickets, etc were very accommodating. My husband has some walking limitations and staff escorted us to the elevator and to our table. That this was an option was not obvious on the location's website. The floor map where we chose tickets did not display that we were sitting behind a pole and had to move a bit to see. I looked at the seating diagram for future concerts and found it unclear. Ticket Master should make seating options more obvious. The music was wonderful and performers were generous with their time. The food at the venue was mediocre, small servings and not especially noteworthy

Lisa was warming and friendly to the room which is a terrific venue. This was icing on on our Anniversary Weekend!

Lisa and her accompanist were incredible!! Soulful, jazzy - her ranges are amazing. What a performer! If anyone has a chance to see Lisa, DO IT! Love Jimmy’s - it’s a beautiful venue! Will be back many times.

Everything from the venue to the atmosphere to the welcome to the singing and music was amazing. We just wish we knew the small portions of food that are served. It was our 1st anniversary that night and wanted to have dinner at the show. Just wish we knew because we didn't eat most of the day so we could eat there. We ordered a couple of things but were still very hungry. So next time we know just to go there for drinks and the show. But still, we loved it.

This is the 4th time I have had the pleasure of attending a Lisa Fischer concert and all 4 times I was able to introduce a few new "future fans" to the roster. Lisa is an experience that anyone with ears and eyes should witness if they have the opportunity! Her voice is only outshined by her incredible soul and that is no easy task I must say! Her ability to take you on a musical and emotional journey is what makes Lisa such a delight. Seeing her in intimate venues like Jimmy's Jazz and Blues Club allows you to be close enough to feel her presence even though her voice can easily tame an entire stadium with just one note. There are few voices like Lisa's in this world and even fewer spirits. Do not let her magic pass you by! Thank you Lisa!

I have loved Miss Fisher since the '90s and I have followed her career over the years and I can enthusiastically say that she is even more remarkable and astounding in person. First of all her presence is phenomenal. She is funny, audacious, kind, gorgeous, vivacious, and generous. Her total being embodies music. The way she moves when she sings. She sings from her whole heart and draws you into every note. She engaged the audience. She made us laugh. She was thoughtful and intentional with the audience - accommodating our many sang requests as we yelled them out from our seats and she sang each one beautifully - Acappella. She sang gospel, jazz, & R&B. Her range is incredible and so is she. I can't wait to see her again. She is fire!

Such a great voice, so amazing. Great arrangements on familiar songs. Piano guy put it over the top. YOU HAVE TO SEE HER LIVE! Birchmere was perfect venue for her performance. Wish she told stories about touring with Luther and Mick Jaguar.

Lisa is a force of nature. A true artist who understands that her voice is an instrument of sound. She’s remarkable. It was Valentine’s Day, and I was there alone, but never felt so loved. Thank you Lisa!

This woman is on a lever all alone! She is Very special and Gifted! The best show I've seen in years. Her Band Grand Baton was Awesome with her! I highly recommend her show to everyone!

Lisa Fischer and the trio did a wonderful Fantastic Performance all were So talented I could not get enough of Lisa Fischer’s Singing, the audience gave her several standing ovations and long claps due to the Talented Performance.

Seating more crowded than any club or venue I've ever been in. Bumped constantly by the people sitting in back and around you.

First visit to Sony Hall, probably should have arrived earlier, but house manager found us great seats house right in what felt like a (raised) VIP section. The food was ok and the server was fantastic, attentive and not disruptive. I'd never heard of Ranky Tanky, but they were a very pleasant surprise - a smart choice for Lisa as they have such a fun groove and the interplay between the band members was very fun. I've seen Lisa before with her band, but this is the first time with her pianist Taylor Eigsti and it was a RARE treat. She is captivating, and the way that she gets lost in the music is so inspiring. I left remembering how much I used to love and care about music - redemptive. Lisa has performed with so many icons, I'd love to hear more stories about her life, but she's classy, keeps it about the breath and the music as she weaves her spell. Thank you, Lisa!!!

So I recently saw Lisa Fischer twice: P'town Town Hall/Wilbur Boston - no, not a stalker. I have loved her voice for over 25/yrs but I hadn't seen her solo until 2014 in Truro. I've seen her with the Stones, Tina and others and to me she was/is on par with the best of them! Her ability to effortlessly cascade between octave ranges can give me a physical rush. It did in 1990 as it does today. At the Wilbur I was close to the stage and when she came into the audience and stopped in front of me singing 'heart/soul', I know I turned purple - forget red, I couldn't breath, couldn't speak. When she moved on I turned to my partner and said, "I just died," though I'm not sure any sound came out. Her choice of material and interpretations were great but she always leaves me wanting more. I have a list of songs in my head that I'd love to hear her sing as I'm sure others do as well. Since the internet I would search for new music from her 1-2 x's a year but nothing other than some utube stuff but no recording. Lastly, her work with Billy Childs on "Reimagining Laura Nyro..." was amazing as was the work of the other artists. Lisa, Honey, work with us on this! Record a concert, get in the studio... I don't care, just get there and gives your fans more. Love you!

I am fortunate enough to see a lot of live music. But an evening with Lisa Fischer blew my mind. This woman is talented beyond belief; I think I spent half the night with my mouth wide open in awe. Her voice, her range, her emotional delivery, her humor were all put to good use in a set that included songs from the Stones, Zepelin, Luther Vandross, Sting and her own Grammy-winning hit. GO SEE LISA FISCHER LIVE. You will NOT regret it, I promise.
