Lionel Richie Tickets

When I bought the ticket, I was made to believe that it was a concert since it was classified as such. After I received the email stating that it was not a concert, it was a mixed emotion. To go or not to go? Being a fan of Lionel Richie and the thought of seeing him for the first time in person made me decide to attend. However, it was a big disappointment. The show did not start on time and the attendees were so little. I felt bad - for myself, for Lionel Richie, and for all who bought the tickets.

What an amazing evening of music! Lionel and his band were in incredible form! This was the final performance of his most recent residency at The Wynn. It was a sold out show on an electric Saturday evening. Each member of his band was at the top of their game. All top notch musicians. It started with the rhythm section. The bass player and drummer laid down an infectious groove on every song. The drummer had amazing skills. He had a beautiful drum kit and utilized every drum and cymbal. The bass player danced his way through every song and had an infectious effect on the audience. He really did set the tone from the beginning for what turned out to be a memorable experience for all. The main keyboard player was great. His background vocals were also spot on. His playing was perfect. The guitarist was great as well. His playing, singing and guitar tone were perfect. He played mostly on a Les Paul, Telecaster and Stratocaster. Each solo was faithful to the original recording. His backing vocals were spot on too. There was also a multi instrumentalist who was a top notch musician and singer. He played keyboards and several different woodwind instruments. His tenor saxophone was strongly featured in the show as well. Mr. Richie was in fine form as well. He gave a master class on entertainment. He was very engaging. His playing and singing were top notch. We all felt like we really knew him by the end of the show. The lighting, sound and special effects were perfect. Everything and everyone involved with the production were dialed in. Overall, it was a perfect evening of entertainment. It made for an enjoyable and unforgettable experience. I would highly recommend this show to anyone looking for a memory for a lifetime.

Lionel has not lost a beat. He sings well and is an excellent showman

Having traveled from England UK as a birthday treat for my wife I was somewhat apprehensive that maybe it wasn't going to be quite what I had hoped. However I can only say that it was more than worth it with both myself and wife enjoying every minute of the show. From start to finish Lionel and the band engaged with the audience and I believe gave everyone an evening to remember. Having seen some not complimentary reviews of the Encore Theatre I can only say that I do not agree. We were sat in the orchestra row u and had a full view of the stage and didn't find the seats uncomfortable. Yes there are no cup holders but that is quite common in the UK so wasn't a problem for us . If I had any disappointment at all it was that unfortunately he didn't sing My Destiny which happens to be my wife's favourite song of his. Maybe that means I will have to take her again 😀😀
