  • Good show

    by JDT82 on 2/14/23Attucks Theatre - NorfolkRating: 4 out of 5

It was a good show. Vocally and overall flow of the show was good too. I was hoping to hear more of her older songs instead of the cover songs. Don't get me wrong, Chaka Khan's songs are great but when your stage time is limited to 2 hours, you can't do 5 of them in your set.

Venue is great and has great staff. Volume was way louder than it needed to be plus the drums, keyboard, bass and guitar volume overpowered the vocals. Went to enjoy Lindsey and mostly ended up with drums, keyboards, bass and guitar.

Jimmy's is an amazing venue! Service was excellent, food was delicious and of course Lindsey Webster and band were incredible! We drove from downstate NY and will definitely be back!

  • Lindsey Webster = amazing

by Steebu on 1/24/23Jimmy’s Jazz and Blues Club - PortsmouthRating: 4 out of 5

Great venue at Jimmy's, food and service outstanding. We sat back by the board and had a great view. She was amazing! The only problem was that the mix (and I was back by the board) was terrible. She was drowned out on many of the songs, and keyboard player, while a great musician, was really loud. When the dynamics of the song came down and you could really hear her, the balance was great. Most of the show however was way too loud and overpowered her. Band was great - just loud... Id go back, but hope they work on the mix...

  • A stellar talent

by JM on 1/24/23Jimmy’s Jazz and Blues Club - PortsmouthRating: 5 out of 5

Lindsey’s talent is off the charts - if you want to hear an artist whose voice is a combination of Chaka Khan’s and Basia’s, check her out!

  • Lindsey Webster - Rams Head 5.1.2022

by Jay on 5/2/22Rating: 5 out of 5

This was the first time seeing Lindsey in a while. Buffalo NY, at Buffalo State Theater several years ago to name it. This tour opened with BLKBOK. He provided a mixture of songs with expressions of meaning and background. After a very quick set change, Lindsey took the stage. I sat directly in front and was able to really get into the show. After the opening number, she performed "I Didn't Mean It" - a new song, that kept the vibe going up tempo. Her band delivers with precision and a strong beat. Keith Slattery directs the atmosphere with strong keyboard and piano portions that blend well with Guitarist Tony of which adds the flow of strong accents during each song. Keith's background is AMAZING. His work with other Artist's is mind blowing. Great to finally see him put a solo effort out there! We all know that Lindsey "has got it" she sings with no difficulty and range. The thing about it is that she enjoys what she is doing. Speaking directly to the audience and taking notice of what is happening in the crowd. She was drawn by the enthusiasm by a fan that was giving her much love. She asked "what is your name" - Tanya was in the pocket, as most of us. Lindsey talked about the charting of "Fool me once" - what she did not say is that song is historic in it's own right. It held a significant presence on Billboard for a while. I think she is modest in that we know how big it was. The evening highlight, in my opinion, was her version of Denice Williams' FREE. OMG....it seemed impromptu - not sure if it appeared on the setlist (which I gave to two audience members afterwards). That song was what we all needed, really! I know I have to wrap this up, but finally, this tour could stand solid with NO opening act. Lindsey has a vast library of music out there. Out of respect for her, I did not take any pics, no one likes having photos taken directly in their fact, I think....Thanks for reading - stay in the groove!

  • Great Show

by RS on 4/18/22The Vogel at Count Basie Center for the Arts - Red BankRating: 5 out of 5

Lindsey has one of the best voices in the business, strong vocals and nice compositions. The crowd was enthusiastic, but not at full capacity- which I blame completely on a lack of advertising by the Vogel / Count Basie Theater. She deserved better

  • Amazing

by Ladysha on 4/18/22The Vogel at Count Basie Center for the Arts - Red BankRating: 5 out of 5

I’ve wanted to see Lindsey Webster for a few years but was never able to see her when she was in NYC so I was beyond excited when I saw she was coming to Red Bank. I live about an hour away, however I’m a Monmouth County girl so it was a no brainer that I had to get tickets. Her voice is so beautiful and she sounds exactly like her cds. I have seen shows at the original Count Basie Theater, this was my first time at the Vogel but it will definitely not be my last. Again, I can say it enough the show was AMAZING.

  • Loved it & Didn"t

by GreenEyes on 2/16/22Attucks Theatre - NorfolkRating: 3 out of 5

Have attended many concerts and performances before and really enjoyed them all. However this one threw me off. Or shall I say the "audio " threw me off. Every note Lindsey sung was NOT clear. Muffed and distorted. Sound system really needs looking into. Otherwise performance was fantastic. Loved the fact a young student will get a chance to be wonderful in life, crowd was wonder, security and staff also. BUT the sound was … let's just was say I really hope the next one is better or I'll really, really, REALLY have to think about future PERFORMANCES.

  • Awesome concert

by KevB on 2/15/22Attucks Theatre - NorfolkRating: 5 out of 5

The concert with Lindsey Webster was awesome! I hope the promoter will bring her and her band annually. The gift saxophone was really great for the high school student. Lindsey Webster is one of the finest singers out here today! I wish she had more time to perform. Excellent concert! I love the venue
