  • My first ever concert was incredible!

    by ECGxSP33DY on 3/8/13The Pageant - St LouisRating: 5 out of 5

I have never been to any concer of any kind before this one. I've loved Lindsey Strling since i saw her on AGT. I learned about her youtube about 4 months ago through Peter Hollens. I dragged my best friend to come with me to this concert, she absolutely loved it! For this being my firs concert, I'm afraid of going to other ones because of how high my expectations were set by this! I am listening to Lindsey's album while writing this even!

  • Lindsey Stirling - Fantastic!

    by thatonekid1324 on 3/7/13The Pageant - St LouisRating: 5 out of 5

This is the 2nd show of hers I've been to, and it was just as amazing, if not more so, than the 1st. I sat in the first row after the pit, so the view was perfect. The combination of her music and stage performance is unbeatable. She was fantastic, the view was incredible, and the venue was great. I can't wait to attend another one of her concerts.

  • Simply amazing

Lindsey never fails to disappoint, every song held more energy and moving sounds than the next. If you like her on youtube, you will ADORE her live. She knows how to interact with the audience and get everyone moving and feeling great.

  • Totally original and totally worth

by KennJewell on 3/7/13The Pageant - St LouisRating: 5 out of 5

Lindsey is such an amazing performer to see, so full of energy. The drummer and DJ were top notch. It is really refreshing to see music portrayed in this fashion. I wish Lindsey and her team the best. Go see Lindsey ASAP! You will not be disappointed.

  • Lindsey Stirling - Amazing as always

by KiAndPhoenix on 3/7/13The Pageant - St LouisRating: 5 out of 5

Lindsey Stirling is an amazing performer. The energy she gives off, combines with her music to let you feel it as much as hear it. She has something special that everyone should have the chance to see in person at least once. My wife and I were fans of hers before the show, and after seeing her in person, we are even more so. On a personal note, I will also say that her music saved the life of my wife. It was well worth seeing her. The down side to her show. Her opener is not for everyone. Not quite to our tastes, and after he did a half hour set, there was a half hour of dead time. We were excited at 8pm to see Lindsey, and she didn't make it to stage until 9pm. Still the wait was worth it. Only other down side is that we would have loved to have her sign autographs, and she was not available. It would have let us have the chance to thank her for all she had done for us. Over all, it was worth the admission fee to have seen her for just one or two songs, let along almost an hour and a half.

  • Best. Day. Ever.

    by arcane351 on 3/7/13The Pageant - St LouisRating: 5 out of 5

Simply put, she put on an amazing performance. By far the best day of my life and plan on going again as soon as she is performing near me again.

  • Lindsey is extremely talented

    by Brain4u on 3/7/13The Pageant - St LouisRating: 5 out of 5

Lindsey is an extremely talented violinist ,but to also be able to do the stage performance while playing was truly excellent. I really enjoyed the show!

  • Lindsey has a memorable performace

by ArtWithStyle on 3/7/13The Pageant - St LouisRating: 5 out of 5

the mix of dance music an her violin melody was a unique experience. her back up crew goby jammed out the keyboard and drew blasted the drums. all gave a masterful performance to be remembered. there was a wide range of attendance ages from youngsters to grandparents. she made it pleasurable for all. if she is in the area again I plan to attend another performance. fun was had by all.

  • Lindsey was awesome!

by Puddleglum on 3/7/13The Pageant - St LouisRating: 5 out of 5

One builds expectations when watching Youtube videos over and over for a couple of years that simply cannot be met when the opportunity to see the artist live in concert arises. Lindsey is no exception. She didn't meet them. She exceeded them. Fantastic music and energetic dance kept the audience fired up the entire night. Well done effects were very additive and made up for the lack of having Devon Supertramp spending months 'putting together' a polished live video just for this concert, so to speak. Her band is phenomenal as well, though it's a bit of a detriment to become enthralled by her drummer's skill and actually get distracted for brief moments from the whirling violin playing inferno of talent and energy. I wish I could give the same props to her keyboard/synth player, but while what he did sounded fantastic, I, alas, could see very little of him from where I was standing. Marvelous!

  • Amazing show; but get there EARLY!!!

by LordManimal on 3/7/13The Pageant - St LouisRating: 5 out of 5

Ticket price was outstanding for this new and upcoming artist, and the venue is great excepting a few things, but let me summarize with a few key bullets: 1. You're going to be patted down and checked, and re-checked like you're making a visit to a prison. St. Louis isn't THAT bad people... 2. They sell far more tickets than there are seats, and about 1/5 of the fans wind up standing around at The Pageant for the duration of the show. GET THERE AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE TO GET A SEAT; your "seat number" on your ticket means nothing. 3. The opening act was horrendous. I have no idea what the guy's name was, but it was like a soundcheck from hell that wouldn't end. He sang the opening theme from the Fresh Prince of Bell Air on acoustic guitar, and then spent the rest of the "act" prancing around the stage crooning into the mic unintelligbly, to pre-recorded music. No band, no lights, just some random dude on the stage like the drunk guy at a kareoke show that won't get off the stage. Me and about 30 other people left after we realized he wasn't going away and sat outside smoking for 45 min till we heard him leave. 4. The show was, frankly, stellar. The accoustics were perfect, in the bottom floor. The upper deck was very tolerable, but you could "feel" the show down below. Up top, you more or less watch it. Sterling is an amazing performer, and even the costume segways were well thought out and entertaining as she changed from one outfit to another.

  • Lindsey rocked

by jedimikep on 3/7/13The Pageant - St LouisRating: 5 out of 5

Lindsey and the band rocked! Loved her great attitude and energy!

  • Best performace I have ever seen!!!

by MrNinjaDrBrian on 3/7/13The Pageant - St LouisRating: 5 out of 5

Lindsey was amazing in concert, she played her own renditions of Thriller, Smooth Criminal, My Immortal, Phantom of the Opera, Legend of Zelda, and more. Her energy was just as hogh and she danced just as much as she does in her videos, I brought along my wife's violin teacher and he was extremely impressed with not only her tenacity in her playing but also her dancing and was surpised on how well she played whilst doing both. I only had to pay 25 dollars to see her in concert but I would have gladly paid 10 times that to see her in concert again!!!

  • Lindsey Stirling Concert in St. Louis MO

    by austin13fox on 3/7/13The Pageant - St LouisRating: 5 out of 5

... Pure Awesomeness... Talented Singer, Gifted Artist, (as her crew and peers), and come on, a Violinist who can rock out? On top of being amazing, she is a total sweet heart with a sense of humor as for her peers, who one of them gave the sheet of music to a young girl who was dancing near the stage after the show. As for the show and her/them themselves, Amazing, truly are.

  • Oh Linsdey

    by REPLIC4NT on 3/7/13The Pageant - St LouisRating: 4 out of 5

Lindsey did a great job! But either her sound guy (or the Pageant sound guy) really needs some improvement. The drum set completely eclipsed Lindsey's violin. As well, the beats levels needed to be brought up a lot. These audio issues are kind of typical at the Pageant nowadays unfortunately. Also, this should have been a dancefloor show. It broke my heart to see almost no one dancing because there were chairs setup everywhere. DO BETTER NEXT TIME, PAGEANT PEOPLE.

  • Amazing!

    by jimjaz01 on 3/7/13The Pageant - St LouisRating: 4 out of 5

I throroughly enjoyed my evening as did my friends that went with. I would see her again the next time she comes around. I'll break down the night a little bit so you can get an idea of things. The Venue was great. The Pageant is a great place to see a show. They have their act together with as far as getting people in and out. Being over 21 we entered through the Halo bar where we skipped most of the people in line outside. The process is so seamless that we were ID'ed, frisked, admitted and given access to the +21 areas without barely noticing it. There isnt a bad seat in the house and having a wait staff is nice to not have to get up for drinks. The opening act(Vibrant Sound) wasnt what I expected and honestly really did not impress most folks in the crowd. It was a one man act and he walked out with a laptop that he hooked up to the sound system. He opened really strong playing an acoustic version of the Fresh Prince of Bel air. The rest of his act was playing songs off of his laptop that he sung along to. Personally if i wanted prerecorded music I would just listen to music at home. At first I thought it was just my friends being a little harsh on the guy but when other people around us complained I saw that we werent alone. The headliner, Lindsey Stirling was amazing. Her energy ignited the crowd and got everyone into the moment. She played her own songs as well as some covers that just blew the crowd away. The Michael Jackson medley and Phantom of the Opera medley were incredible. She of course played the huge crowd pleaser, The Legend of Zelda. She had a few costume changes like most acts do and her set on stage really worked for what she was doing. LED screen, lights, smoke, bubbles and even fake snow. I didnt expect such a "show" from a youtube sensation. She brought up people in the crowd to take part in a Dance Central style dance off where the screen mimicked what the game would look like. Shes great at connecting with the audience and just making you smile.

  • UNBELIEVABLE

    by Lindseyfan123 on 3/7/13The Pageant - St LouisRating: 5 out of 5

Lindsey is amazing. It's as simple as that. I paid for the VIP meet and greet and was not dissapointed. She is the nicest person i have ever met, and she is my idol. To meet her was amazing. She talked to everyone, and it was obvious how much she cares about all of her fans. :) i would easily pay like 80 dollars total for the vip and regular ticket again.
