    great voice, boring show

by moonakis on 12/2/09Berklee Performance Center - Boston

My last Linda Eder concert was upbeat and snappy with a five piece jazz band. This show the band seemed to play without much passion. I think I prefer Linda when she plays standards and show tunes. The pop doesn't do it for me.

    Linda Eder is Lovely

by SingFannySing on 11/30/09Berklee Performance Center - Boston

Linda was not only stunning yet down to earth...her voice was nothing I could ever compare anyone to. It was incredible! The song selection was more then I could have asked for...a little of everything. Plus I was able to meet her after the show...and even though she was tired and I'm sure just wanted to get home, took the time to take not only one, but two pictures with me. She also remembered that my sister and I were the two young ladies sitting in the front row. And thanked us for going to see the show. What a lovely person...someone you could see yourself meeting for an afternoon coffee...with a kick-ass voice!

by Puffs on 11/30/09Berklee Performance Center - Boston

Each event with Linda Eder is better than the last. Saturday evening at the Berklee Performance Center, she provided over two straight hours of exceptional talent. Her voice was perfect in all genres of music. She is generous in her banter with the audience and respectful of her bands talents. No wonder audiences keep returning to her performances!

    Linda Eder

by PokahPlayahJack on 11/29/09Berklee Performance Center - Boston

Linda never disappoints! This was my third time seeing her and I brought three friends with me who knew nothing about her. After the show, my Carrie compared her to a Streisand/Dion mix. My friend Gary wanted to know WHY he didn't know about her. My friend Melanie, who I knew would love her said, "She was phenomenal!" This was all said while walking out of our row. The raves continued all the way back to Maine. I brought 10 of Linda's CD's over to Gary & Melanie's house today for them to listen to. I'm already anxious to see Linda in concert again. COME BACK TO BOSTON SOON, LINDA!

    Linda Eder Never Disappoints

by Moeskib on 11/29/09Berklee Performance Center - Boston

Another amazing concernt by the fantastic Linda Eder. I have seen LInda about 20 times and her show never disappoints. Matter of fact I could see her in concert every day. She brightens my day when I hear her voice on her CD's and in person she is absolutely flawless. This venue was great as it was smaller. Her show featured her new CD Soundtrack, which I love by the way but also she sang many of her songs from her previous CD The Other Side of Me, which is my favorite!! She also did her regulars such a Vienna and Gold, which I never tire of hearing. I loved this concert as I love every Linda Eder concert that I see. She is amazing and the best singer out there. I look forward to seeing her in New York in April at Feinstein;s at the Regency.

    VOICE IS UNABELIEVABLE

by drama531 on 11/29/09Berklee Performance Center - Boston

Love listening to Ms. Eder. She has a distinctive voice. Much as I felt about Streisand when I first heard her. Would love to see more of her. However, in this concert there was too much "country" for my tastes. 2 too many original songs written by her as well as her keyboardist. The guitaritst were outstanding. Would have liked to hear more Broadway. She explains that she felt she was getting stale. I respectfully disagree, I first discovered her as a Broadway Songstress and would prefer having her sing old standards as well as Broadway tunes. Not sure I would take the chance and spend $100 to see her again. Will probably stay with the albums I have and be satisfied with that.

Linda Eder has an absolutely amazing voice.

by Ironwing25 on 11/29/09Berklee Performance Center - Boston

Any review about Linda Eder must, of necessity, contain a series of superlatives. Can this woman sing! Her voice is at once powerful yet precise, commanding yet mesmerizing. Whether humming gently with the strains of a guitar solo or belting out a number with the entire 5-piece band, her pitch is superb, her phrasing masterful. And during this performance, she sang several songs of her own composing. And she does seem to be broadening her style, as noted by sometimes not so subtle inclusions of various country-rock selections. Her fans are legion, following her from venue to venue. This is the third time we've had the consummate pleasure of hearing this performer and she seems to improve with each occasion. Not only is she talented but she's personable as well, sharing various personal vignettes about her life sprinkled gently throughout the evening. All I can say is this woman is an unbelievable talent with an unbelievable voice. I'll have to bide my time with her outstanding CDs until she comes this way again.

    Linda never disappoints!

by thisnamehasbeentaken on 11/29/09Berklee Performance Center - Boston

Linda is one of the few rare artists who never disappoints the audience. Her beautiful, lush voice is truly a wonder. She creates a warm, intimate atmosphere with her light conversation between songs. She makes you feel like you are in her living room having a chat. The power of her voice as she belts out her signature songs like Vienna never ceases to amaze me, yet her softness during quieter ballads is equally enthralling. For two hours we were treated to an amazing talent that ranks right up there with the best of the best. It is a privilege to hear that voice in person. I never get tired of it. If you ever have the chance to see LInda in concert, be the first in line. You don't want to miss her!

    Linda is a powerhouse

by pdbrooks on 11/29/09Berklee Performance Center - Boston

Linda is a powerhouse, but the mics on her instrumentalists could have been turned down considerably, and her mic too. She needs more up tempo tunes in her repertoire. Her technique is marvelous, with full-mask resonance and squillo effects, requiring less breath to marshall her vocal production.

by KAHOONASUE on 11/29/09Berklee Performance Center - Boston

Just wanted to say that the concert was tremendous. She and the band performed for 2 solid hours with energy and passion. I had never been to Berklee for a concert and truly loved the venue for this type of performance because it was intimate and just perfect to appreciate Linda's voice, personality and the wonderful talent she surrounds herself with. Thank you Linda and musicians for a wonderful evening of pure talent.

Eder's Other Side Not My Cup of Tea

by dufftones on 11/29/09Berklee Performance Center - Boston

She has a great voice., but her current emphasis on country is not my cup of tea. I much prefer the broadway and jazzy side of Eder. A good portion of the concert was devoted to songs from her new "Sound Tracks" album. While not country tunes, her choice of songs like "Help" and "If I Can't Have You" were not good ones. She sang only one seasonal song. I would have lliked more. I have attended and enjoyed prior Eder engagements. If she stays with her "Other Side", I won't attend her future concerts but, rather, put on her CD's from her "prior side". Here's hoping her next album is entitled "Back to Broadway" or "My Jazzy Side".

    Linda Eder was truly amazing

by pfreader on 11/29/09Berklee Performance Center - Boston

Linda Eder's performance at the Berklee Performance Center was truly amazing. Wonderful selection of music, new songs plus some of her standards. She certainly can cross between Broadway to pop to country-like sounds effortlessly. Even her newly written songs could become favorites of mine. And, she definitely looked like she was enjoying herself while entertaining her audience. Looking forward to next year!
