About

Lil Wayne in Concert

With four Grammys and eight consecutive No. 1 albums on the Billboard Rap Albums chart, the luster of Lil Wayne’s accomplishments as a rapper rivals the bling of his signature gold chains and grill. With the release of 2013’s I Am Not a Human Being II, Wayne landed four more singles on the Billboard Hot 100, edging out Elvis Presley to became the male with the most entries on the chart – a whopping 109 in total. Singles like “Love Me” and “No Worries” featured his characteristic use of Auto-Tune to create a highly melodic hybrid of rap and R&B, propelling the album to a No. 2 spot on the Billboard 200. After becoming the youngest member on Cash Money Records’ roster when he joined the imprint at age nine, Wayne rose to fame with his group Hot Boys before achieving success as a solo artist. His instantly recognizable sound has been honed over 11 studio albums and made famous by hits like “Lollipop”, “How to Love”, and “She Will”. On the road with 2 Chainz in 2013 for the America’s Most Wanted Tour, Wayne treated ticket buyers to his hit-filled live concert, serving it all up with a hearty side of swagger.

    Not what you expect

    by ST94 on 3/19/24BOK Center - Tulsa

I have been to many concerts and this way by far the worst I have ever been to. Lil wayne sounds horrible and only performed about 45 seconds of each of his hits. Very disappointing

    Awful

by Upset fan on 3/18/24BOK Center - Tulsa

Bad show. He rushed thru every song, didn’t finish a full song, cut them off in the middle of the song. No screens so if you were not on the floor you couldn’t see anything. Didn’t start until 10 pm and only performed for 1 hour with a 15 min intermission In that hour. Awful!!! He disappointed me so badly.

    Disappointed

by Lys on 3/18/24BOK Center - Tulsa

I’ve always loved concerts for the simple fact that you get that live experience. Unfortunately my last concert on 3/14 was disappointing as the artist only performed for 45 minutes. I waited weeks to see one of my favorite artists only perform for less than an hour. Not to mention, my seats were behind a huge black curtain. Me and several others had to find other seats because the view of the stage was blocked. Why would you even sell tickets in areas where you can’t see the stage? Seems unfair to me.

Who that said they gon' beat Lil Wayne? And whoever said he can no longer perform- wrong. Night of a lifetime with all the greatest hits. And I love the way he says "thank you"at the end of each song he's so sweet.

    Lil Wayne at the BOK

by Mama J on 3/17/24BOK Center - Tulsa

Lil Wayne put on a great concert but my seats were blocked off at the top row. However we got courtesy floor tickets which was awesome! Except I'm short and I couldn't see anything from my seat.

    Eh.

Wishing there would have been monitors so that people from far back could see. The people in front of me and beside me were smoking weed, so maybe better security measures?

    Poor concert performance

Opening act was very terrible. Didn’t even get to hear full songs by Lil Wayne and kept saying thank you after each song.

    Lil Wayne in Tulsa

    by Themovieman on 3/17/24

I saw Lil Wayne in Tulsa on Thursday and he was phenomenal, but because he was late he only played like a verse from all songs except his big hits. He did play 42 songs in 1 hour 20 minutes though. He was amazing and would definitely see him again. I just wish he played every song in its entirety. Cordae was amazing and selfish sons were good just maybe the wrong artist to open up for. Cordae killed it though. The merchandise was pretty cool just wish the shirts had tour dates on the back.

    Terrible Experience

by Vanessa on 2/19/24SAHARA THEATER AT SAHARA HOTEL AND CASINO - Las Vegas

We got to the Sahara at 11:30, found out doors were pushed from opening at 10 to 11. By the time we got inside 2chainz showed up probably 30 mins later not bad at all. Lil Wayne showed up 3 hours later, with a bunch of people on stage smoking and drinking. Had already been standing around waiting for 4 hours with no performance. Overall bad experience

by Pooh on 2/14/24SAHARA THEATER AT SAHARA HOTEL AND CASINO - Las Vegas

On the billboard and the flyer is stated that Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz will be there not that we would just watch them On Stage drinking liquor and do A walk through there was no performance it was horrible never again will I ever waste my money I don't know if it was in the fine print that all they were going to do was a walkthrough but it was not what I expected for my money

    Disappointed

by Moni on 2/13/24SAHARA THEATER AT SAHARA HOTEL AND CASINO - Las Vegas

We waited over 5 hours to just watch them party on stage. I thought they were gonna at least do a song or two or at least say a few words. We waited to see if they would do anything and started watching people leave so we left.. I was so excited for this show too. The DJ was ok but starting playing the same song over again

Not worth the money for 3 minutes of music

by BornLadyVA on 2/13/24SAHARA THEATER AT SAHARA HOTEL AND CASINO - Las Vegas

2 Chainz was there on time but Lil Wayne took so long to enter the building. When he did hit the stage, there were so many people on the stage you could barely see him. We didn't come there to see these random people up there taking up space on the stage. And then the sound kept messing up while Lil Wayne was rapping. The ticket said "concert"but it really should have said "appearance". I could have went to another event/concertwhere I could see a performance.
