LIL BOOSIE IN CONCERT:
Following his early release from a drug-related prison sentence in 2014, Lil Boosie headed straight to the studio to begin work on a new album, his first since 2010's Incarcerated reached the Top 10 while he was, well, incarcerated. Known as the "Tupac of the South," the southern rapper is no stranger to controversy, but his dedicated fans have been unwavering in their support, launching a formidable "Free Boosie" campaign while he was behind bars . Eschewing the got-it-flaunt-it mantra of mainstream rap in favor of cold hard look at the struggle of life, Boosie is nothing if not real, and fans of telling it like it is are ecstatic for his return to the stage in 2014.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Born and raised in a rough-and-tumble neighborhood of Baton Rouge, Lil Boosie received his nickname from his parents, both fans of '70s funk icon Bootsy Collins. After cutting his teeth as a member of rap group Concentration Camp in his early teens, Boosie made his solo debut in 2000 with Youngest of Da Camp, recorded when he was just 17. The album was an underground hit, earning him regional recognition and paving the way for the success of 2006's Bad Azz, which peaked at No. 1 on the Top Rap Albums chart. Following an arrest for drug charges in 2008, Boosie's next two albums both reached the Top 10 while he was serving time, earning him comparisons to Tupac. Riding high after his early release from prison, Boosie thrilled ticket buyers with the announcement of tour dates in 2014.
I will never attend another event where these two artists are involved. Keyshia was extremely late, constantly complained, stayed on the stage only five minutes, and to top it off...SOUNDED HORRIBLE. Concert started at 8pm...why was it at 12am before we knew Boosie wasn't showing up? Basically payed $200 to hear untalented local artists. The biggest waste EVER!
Keyshia Cole was 3hrs late show was supposed to start at 8 she didnt perform until 11pm. When she did artive on stage she acted as if she didnt want to be there and was a little pissed it wasnt a sold out event. Lil boosie got sick and was hospitalized we didn't find out he wasn't performing until 12am after we had been waiting since 8pm. Smh just bad business....
It sucked. What a waste! Artist didn't even show!!!!
Had a great time! Boosie Juice was amazing!! Highly recommend everyone get a bottle. I know I will be the second it's available! The openers were pretty good with the exception of a couple local people...they were mediocre. Overall though, I had a great time, and Boosie put on a good show. Good mix of new and old music. Can't wait until he comes back!!
This was something I could check off my bucket list. It started an hour and a half late. Then between performers we kept having to wait. I wasn't happy with the schedule the performers were on. I had to leave at midnight and didn't even get to see the end of the concert. But I really love everyone who came out. I have been a Juvi and boosie fans since day one. So I did enjoy myself.
This show was everything!!! Boosie is an incredible performer!!! Humbled... I love him!!!
The concert was good boosie did a great job..we had to stand the whole concert. .
The show was amazing, Boosie is so humble ! He's my absolute favorite rapper and I'll never forget this experience!!
From the start to the end LIl Boosie concert was on fleek! The music sound was just right. They kept the concert going. I enjoyed all the music. Lil Boosie/Twista/Plies. I love the location. My first time in Detroit at a concert @ chene park. I had a great time. Will be returning for more concerts to come.

Omg I had the funest night ever!!!! I am the BIGGEST Boosie fan!!! I love him so much. Wgen I saw he was coming to concert I HAD to go!! Everybody performed so great!! I had a really great night.
I have seen him twice since he got out and I'm going to see him 6/6/15. His shows are great opening acts not so much but he has so many songs his concerts can go on and on. Every time he is performing somewhere I can make my way too I will be in attendance. Defiantly worth every cent. "and I pay good money for people I really want to see"
Speaker was busted & you couldn't understand anything. Radio station wasn't there we stayed until 10:30, but it started at 7:30. Tons of Waco Acts. We never seen Lil boosie we drive the hour back to Corsicana.
Short version....too many Opening artists. The MC didn't know who was scheduled to perform in what order... they kept making several announcements through out the show for performing artists to come back stage and sign up... show was suppose to end at 11pm..but due to the unorganized events, it ended over midnight. Shortly before Lil Boosie's performance someone apart of the concert asked several of us to come back stage for a meet and greet with Lil Boosie. They took us to this sitting area where we waited for at least 30 minutes and Lil Boosie never showed. And when we tried to go back to our seats to finish watching the show, we were denied and directed to go back to the waiting area. We asked assistance from the officer securing our area but he said he didn't know what was going on. A few of us checked several backstage doors and found an exit. While trying to make to back to our seats... Lil Boosie was on stage already. Then the Marijuana smokers started...unbelievable. No ushers or police there to stop them. Show ends and the MC states meet and greet previous holders can go back stage now. We did so only to be disappointed again. Lil Boosie left the building.
Boosie is amazing I've been a fan since highschool, I have every mixtape, album, etc. I was so excited to find out he was finally coming to LA. I bought 3rd row tickets which were not cheap. His performance was amazing he was full of energy, the vibes in the building were even better , he knows how to keep the crowd going. I just hate that for the hardworking fans like my self that spent over $150 for close seats only got and hour long performance. 9:02-10:12 , BOOSIE IF YOU SEE THIS ILY but you have to do better than that.
The show was amazing as soon as Boosie hit the stage. Omg I can't wait till he comes back to cali so my people's and I can be front and center again!!!
He put on a great show. The only thing I disliked were the opening acts...
I really enjoyed the show even the performance before lil boosie came out was great. If he come back out I would do it again
I spent 192$ for my ticket to only see boosie for 20 min , I feel like I wasted my money I could of just brought the lowest ticket for that price. I'm very upset about it especially how they combined both show together making it harder for those who purchased there ticket for 10 o'clock show but I still love boosie just never again will i waste money on tickets
Doors open at 7pm and main acts didn't come out until after 11pm. K. Michelle and Boosie did good but all the unnecessary opening acts could have been deleted. The host was great. He kept it lively. A girl sitting next to us went to sleep and eventually Left :-\
