Shuttles were timely, comfortable and I don’t know if it was our driver, or if it was planned out but even the shuttle music playlist was live. All the performers killed it and the people and the overall vibe was nothing short of amazing. My only issue might’ve just been making sure the watering stations get replenished on the regular but just the fact that they had them was dope in of itself. Def going back again next year!
I’ve been to many large and small scale concert, award shows, etc. This was the first music festival I’ve ever attended and traveled alone from Los Angeles for this event, but I must say this was hands done one of the greatest days/moments I’ve experienced!!! The line up was unmatched and all of the artists did an amazing job! The energy from everyone was amazing. I laughed, cried and sang my heart out all day long. There were so many activities to engage in and plenty of great food vendors. I’ve waited years to see H.E.R. live and I’m so glad I chose this event to see her. She is a legend and an artist in every aspect of the word. I’m glad I got to witness her make history! Overall it was an amazing experience and well organized! If you love R&B attending this festival is a must! My only is that it stays in the Bay Area, but I’ll be at next year’s regardless!!!
The entire event was amazing!! Very organized and well put together. The scheduled line-up was on time and there was little wait time in between performances. The workers were very helpful with providing information. Overall, the best festival experience. I'm looking forward to next year!!

LIGHTS ON FEST was BEYOND AMAZING! HER put together a beautiful lineup and it made my first trip to the Bay Area, the best trip yet! Everything was perfect, performances were on time and the setups were beautiful. I loved every minute of it!
Honestly. Truly. The. Best. Festival. On. The. West. Side. H.E.Rs vision was beautifully manifested. From the art walk, to the films, to the illumination stage, food trucks, dranks, arcade and fluorescent stage (mainstage). Everything flowed. Fun and laughter echoed throughout the day and night. Artist line-up with magical. History was made. New friends were made. Love was made. Memories overflowing. Not a festival you want to miss. It will only get better.
This was such a great show. Non stop fun. I’m so proud of H.e.r. And all the artists that preformed. Everyone did i great job! See you next year
Was a little hot that day so people were fainting. More water stations woulda been awesome. I liked the venue and occupancy load though. I could move without being uncomfortable and there was actually room to see comfortable.
The line up was fire!! I’m so glad I went and enjoyed this experience. Can’t wait to see the line up for next year!!! Thank you H.E.R for starting something amazing!!!! RNB is not dead!!!!
The event was an awesome experience and it was great that R&B got it’s own music festival (first ever in the country). H.E.R. and team did an awesome job bringing this idea to life and looking forward to many more.
For the first light on fest, the turnout was amazing!! I got seats for the lower level and apparently they were VIP. I loved it! Faster entry, the view from the seats were PERFECT, and free merch! We got a fanny pack, lighter, and fan. The event was truly spectacular. The line up was bomb. Free Starbucks, free snacks in the film area. Easy to park and surprisingly was easy to exit the parking as well. The reason I give it 4 stars is because I expected more shade to be set up. They didn’t set up those tents (idk what they’re called) over the seating for the food. The one that gives shade? They could’ve done that & added mist machines on the outskirts to give people a more comfy area to sit and eat their food. Also expected a VIP lounge but assuming the whole lower level and GA PIT were VIP, it would be just as packed. H.E.R really did that ya’ll!! I can’t wait to come back next year!!!

An epic day of Rnb Music in sunny Concord,CA. The venue itself was beautiful. I appreciated 2 different stages for 2 different vibes. We were able to see/hear every single artist on the line up since there was no time overlap of performers which was amazing. The Main stage performances was the most relaxing experience. Ari Lennox, Summer Walker, Daniel Cesar, Jhené Aiko and H.E.R were a whole mood as the sun went down. Definitely looking forward to returning
Great curating job. Good venue choice. The seat benches were clutch in the pit section and would love to see an expansion on the art walk. The only downside to the day was waiting for the shuttles at the end of the evening. My group waited over an hour. Seemed like there were only 4 shuttles running at the time and they were split between locations so in reality only 2.
The festival was amazing. It was cleaner than previous festivals I’ve attended. Food and drink options were good despite high drink prices. Setup/timing and options were all great.
This venue was beautiful, lineup was incredible but the lines for everything were way too long. I missed an entire artist because the food lines were so lengthy. So next year, more food options this allows a quicker turn around for patrons, more shuttles to and from the concord station. I only saw two of HER’s song because I had to get into the shuttle line which closed at 11 and there were so many people and no line regulation. I rode with some who had been in line for 5 minutes because there was no one to enforce honesty and integrity of patrons. Otherwise one of the safest and chill festivals I’ve been to.
Great experience, very organized, the music was on point. Can't wait for next year.
The free shuttle for the off site parking was great!... The entrance line move fairly fast... The staff were all friendly.. The event was truly amazing..
