About

Letterkenny On Tour

A show that's every bit as rude, raucous, and hilarious as the TV series that fans know and love, Letterkenny Live is back. Audiences can expect more of the same good times they had when the Letterkenny gang headed off the screen for their very first Canadian tour in the spring of 2018.

The sold-out dates all over the country were a sign of the phenomenon that the show has become in the years since viewers first got a taste of its gleefully profane yet lovable sensibility. Letterkenny made its debut in 2013 as a web series that spoofed the ways and attitudes of rural folks like the kind that co-creator Jared Keeso knew growing up in the farm town of Listowel, Ontario. Racking up tens of millions of YouTube views, the original videos established a unique brand of comedy, one that could be crude, affectionate, and wickedly clever all at once.

With their instantly quotable and reliably foul-mouthed dialogue, the characters played by Keeso and his pals had little trouble making the transition as the show evolved from a viral sensation to a full-fledged sitcom. Set in the titular town, Letterkenny has become a favourite destination for viewers of Crave and The Comedy Network in Canada. And with the addition of the show to Hulu in 2018, Letterkenny expanded its following in the U.S., where more and more audiences are getting acquainted with the show's motley crew of idiotic hockey players, sketchy skids, and sarcastic hicks like Wayne (Keeso), Daryl (Nathan Dales), and Squirrely Dan (K. Trevor Wilson), the three buddies who always find themselves in the middle of the idiocy.

Billed as a 90-minute comedy experience featuring Keeso, Dales, Wilson, and Mark Forward — who fans will recognize as the hockey team's hot-headed coach – shows on the Letterkenny Live! The Encore Tour combine performances of beloved sketches with additional material not seen on TV or on the original tour. Two of Canada's sharpest stand-ups, Wilson and Forward also perform solo sets. So as Wayne himself might say, "Pitter-patter, let's get at ‘er."

If you watched the show, it was incredibly awesome!!!

by Jen on 5/10/22Orpheum Theatre - Minneapolis

It's best to see the play once you see the series. It was so much fun and my daughter and I were happy about getting to see the characters in person. They appear to be a wonderful group of people and it was a great night. We both really enjoyed the entire time.

    Great show, Disappointing Q&A

    by M. L. on 5/10/22Orpheum Theatre - Minneapolis

The show itself was fantastic! Mark Forward's and K. Trevor Wilson's stand-up routines were hilarious (and kudos to Mr. Forward for how he handled his heckler). The show was a mixture of new and old skits as well as some videos of bloopers and such. While the show was great, the Q&A before was very disappointing. It started 30 minutes late, they had 4 questions asked by the actors to the other actors, and then they left. I know it was the last stop on the tour, but it was disappointing to not be able to interact with them or have any of our questions asked. We ended up being shuffled in and then shuffled out. Overall, I really enjoyed the experience of the show, but the Q&A left me feeling a wee bit sad. Ferda.

    I'd like a refund

    by N. M. on 5/10/22Lincoln Theatre - Washington

The show time was moved 3 days before the event and I could no longer attend. I bought the recommended insurance and they denied my claim... I'd like a refund.

Waste of a lot of money

by Chad on 5/9/22Orpheum Theatre - Minneapolis

Bought the Gold VIP package. The Q & A was just the actors asking each other questions we could probably find on the internet (what was your first acting gig, etc) and zero audience-submitted questions, and no pictures allowed even after the "Q & A". The sound was awful and unintelligible. The parts I could understand were hilarious. I shouldn't have to strain to understand the dialogue when I'm 2nd row right in front of a P.A. speaker. I love the show and the actors, but overall I'm very disappointed in the "VIP Experience" and won't waste money on it again. I'm hesitant to go to another show at the Orpheum if they don't sort their sound situation out. A theater built for stage dialogue shouldn't have that as its biggest weakness.

    LOVED every minute

by MoparMama on 5/9/22Orpheum Theatre - Minneapolis

I had heard that this was going to be a great show, especially for Letterkenny fans. It was beyond that! Mixing in some of the "classic" lines and jokes with some new. Even had some Shoresy chirps that were MN-based! Coach stole the show, his stand-up was hilarious. I felt so bad that a woman towards the front was interrupting him, that he had to have security escort her out (he gave her 3 warnings!) but was embarrassing that she had to rep MN like that. So glad they stopped here during their tour, hope they come back soon!

    More than I expected!

by Erica on 5/8/22Orpheum Theatre - Minneapolis

The show was great and professionally done! It felt like everything flowed well together, I wasn’t sure what to expect and they went above and beyond. There was some audience interaction as well. I will definitely get tickets for their next tour if they do one!

    Hilarious!

by Kaylee D on 5/7/22Orpheum Theatre - Minneapolis

This show is so damn witty! I love these people, and I love how the integrated standup and their own show into it!

    Exactly what I expected

by Matt on 5/7/22Orpheum Theatre - Minneapolis

The show was absolutely amazing, there were skits, stand up, and some cool behind the scenes stuff that was all hilarious. The jokes made by Shoresy were actually Minnesota related, which was really awesome. Definitely gonna see them again if they come back to Minnesota!!!

VIP tickets = Ohhh, not so bad. (It was great)

by Dr. Noise on 5/7/22The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

We got silver VIP tickets. It was fantastic. We got a lanyard, a very thick poster board style poster with the whole cast's signatures. Went in early, watched them do a fun Q&A, though the questions do not come from the audience, but I do believe in most locations they curate it. So, you can send questions in prior to the event. For ours, they opted to talk about how the tour had been going in detail. It was great to see them all before the show out of character. Then, the show itself literally just felt like they were hanging out with 3500 of their good friends making everyone laugh. The coach was often the star of the show, including his fantastic 10 minutes solo stand-up act. It's essentially a scripted skit show, and honestly an absolute must see to ANY Letterkenny fan. You will not in any way regret it.

    Not what I expected

by A Nonny Moose on 5/7/22Orpheum Theatre - Minneapolis

Felt like they were dialing it in. The cast spent more time off stage than on stage, and it felt like a big commercial. Some lady got kicked out of the audience and we’re not sure why so that was awkward. The sound was muffled and it was hard to understand them when turning up the treble and mids. We left early. It was f-in’ disappointing.

    Good and you!

by Ernest on 5/7/22Orpheum Theatre - Minneapolis

Wicked awesome show, many laughs were had. The experience allows true fans an in depth treat to a sneak peek into the new season of the show, sharing bloopers of past...but also gives all fans a lot to laugh about with mix of stand up, skits, and videos all while also engaging with the crowd. Highly recommend

    Fantastic

Everything you love about the show and more. They added a personal piece to it depending on the state you were in and I thought that was special.

    extremely funny....was done very well.

by Kermit on 5/6/22Clowes Memorial Hall - Indianapolis

VIP experience was great. Enjoyed seeing and hearing from the case before the show. The show was hilarious. Loved the stand up in between. I was also impressed with the end when the cast came out and shared what they liked about Indianapolis. Very classy. I would definitely see this show again if it came back. The only thing i didnt care for....after the vip experience, it was roughly 530p. the show didnt start until 7p. We werent allowed to leave and come back which is totally BS. I couldnt understand why we had to hang around the lobby when we could have went out for a bite on campus (Butler University) and come back. that was annoying/frustrating. So be aware..vip you might have to wait around.

    Very Funny

by MikeBeahan on 5/5/22The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

The show was extremely funny. Many talented comic actors are in the cast. My only complaint was that it was only 2 hours, including a 20-25 minute intermission.

    Too little live content

by Not Katie on 5/5/22The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

It was a short show, 2 hours with 20 min intermission. The actors left the stage several times to show videos from the show, that we have already seen. Kinda lazy on their part.

Beautiful theater, seats are very compact.

by Jhoffmaster on 5/4/22The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

Show was good, had a lot more tv clips than I would have preferred vs. live entertainment. The theater was nice and clean. I enjoyed the stand up comedy portions.

    I was pert’near death

by Puppers on 5/4/22The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

This show was everything I hoped it would be, plus a bonus of two stand up sets. They also gave us some flashbacks, behind the scenes and a few other gems.
