About

Letterkenny On Tour

A show that's every bit as rude, raucous, and hilarious as the TV series that fans know and love, Letterkenny Live is back. Audiences can expect more of the same good times they had when the Letterkenny gang headed off the screen for their very first Canadian tour in the spring of 2018.

The sold-out dates all over the country were a sign of the phenomenon that the show has become in the years since viewers first got a taste of its gleefully profane yet lovable sensibility. Letterkenny made its debut in 2013 as a web series that spoofed the ways and attitudes of rural folks like the kind that co-creator Jared Keeso knew growing up in the farm town of Listowel, Ontario. Racking up tens of millions of YouTube views, the original videos established a unique brand of comedy, one that could be crude, affectionate, and wickedly clever all at once.

With their instantly quotable and reliably foul-mouthed dialogue, the characters played by Keeso and his pals had little trouble making the transition as the show evolved from a viral sensation to a full-fledged sitcom. Set in the titular town, Letterkenny has become a favourite destination for viewers of Crave and The Comedy Network in Canada. And with the addition of the show to Hulu in 2018, Letterkenny expanded its following in the U.S., where more and more audiences are getting acquainted with the show's motley crew of idiotic hockey players, sketchy skids, and sarcastic hicks like Wayne (Keeso), Daryl (Nathan Dales), and Squirrely Dan (K. Trevor Wilson), the three buddies who always find themselves in the middle of the idiocy.

Billed as a 90-minute comedy experience featuring Keeso, Dales, Wilson, and Mark Forward — who fans will recognize as the hockey team's hot-headed coach – shows on the Letterkenny Live! The Encore Tour combine performances of beloved sketches with additional material not seen on TV or on the original tour. Two of Canada's sharpest stand-ups, Wilson and Forward also perform solo sets. So as Wayne himself might say, "Pitter-patter, let's get at ‘er."

    poor managment

by just a fan on 3/9/20Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Toronto

I am a huge fan of letterkenny and they put on a great show. What i did not enjoy was how things were managed. I purchased a VIP ticket and did not get a VIP experience. I received a poster that was pre signed by the cast. I could not tell who's signature belonged to who so it didn't really excite me and it looked like it was just a copy as appose to hand signed. With the meet and greet it was really rushed and I could only get a group pic as appose to individual pics with people i really wanted to see. Then after i had to leave my seat and wait in the lobby for over 30 min which soon was filled with regular ticket holders. There was no area or bar reserved for only VIP ticket holders. I spent 3x regular ticket price and only had very little perks.

    Great Show, but...

by Shelby on 3/9/20Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Toronto

Show was great! Loved all the sketches and the stand up portions too. I had bought a silver ticket, which meant I got to attend a pre show Q&A. I got an email telling me to show up for the Q&A at 5:30. I show up at 5:25 and they already had started. I missed over half of what I had paid for. I am a little bummed but still, it was a great show and would recommend to anyone who is a fan.

    Waste of time and miney

    by B. on 3/8/20

The show was lazy. All the content was reused from the TV show and the cast barely spent any time on stage. The only worthwhile original content was the stand up from Mark and Trevor. Do better Letterkenny, you’re capable of much better than this waste of time.

    To be faaaaaaaaair......

by jandj on 3/6/20FirstOntario Concert Hall (Formerly Hamilton Place) - Hamilton

The show was funny, but I thought the 4 main characters would do a lot more together in stage. Over the 90 minute show they did 3 scenes together and the rest was videos and 2 stand up comedy segments and scenes with the other characters. Love the show, but I won’t need to see another live event.

    Great but short

by Funwilly on 3/6/20FirstOntario Concert Hall (Formerly Hamilton Place) - Hamilton

Cool to see the gang but felt the show could have had a little more to it...between the late start and intermission it was a short performance.

    Need more!

    by D. B. on 3/4/20

Best live show I’ve seen in a long time. Just as good, if not better then last year. I love the tv show, and the live show makes it so much better! Can’t wait until next year! Great venue, and merch!

    Decent

    by N. on 6/25/19Pantages Theatre - Minneapolis

The audio quality was awful and it was hard to make out some of the jokes -- especially when videos were playing. I didn't like that they reused material from the show word for word. These are funny people. Could they not write a few original jokes for the in person show? I also didn't like that they never broke character to address the audience as themselves. It's cool that they performed in character but it would have been nice to do like 10 minutes of audience questions as "Jared and the gang" rather than "Wayne and the gang". Both standups (Mark and K. Trevor) were excellent. Overall I liked it but I truly can't say that I loved it even though I'm a huge fan of the show.

    Laughed so Hard I Cried

    by K. A. on 6/25/19Pantages Theatre - Minneapolis

Awesome experience. The only thing I could say was missing was other cast members. Hopefully, if they do this in the future, some others come along for the ride. The stand-ups by Mr. Forward and Mr. Wilson were excellent as well!

    Good N You?

    by J. on 6/25/19Pantages Theatre - Minneapolis

The event was fantastic. It was basically an episode of the show on stage, plus a stand up set from Mark Forward and K Trevor Wilson. I didn't stop smiling the whole time. Even for non-fans, I don't see how you could have not enjoyed this. Just a joyous, raucous, awesome comedy show.

    Tons of Fun

    by Ject137 on 6/25/19Pantages Theatre - Minneapolis

I loved this event. This was a gorgeous theater, as well as a great crowd and great staff. Seeing these actors live was wonderful. My only complaint - and it's minor because I understand why - is that I wish the show would have been a little less scripted. Doing so many shows like they do, it's understandable that they can't leave things up to chance, but it would have been nice to see a bit more of the actors personalities as well as their characters.

    Fabulous

by AmeliaL on 6/25/19Pantages Theatre - Minneapolis

This show was more than I ever could have anticipated. The comedy was OUTSTANDING. To be honest, we were a little hesitant about the comedian sets, not knowing if these guys were just kind of riding the coattails of their characters and a great show, BUT WE WERE SO WRONG. Everyone in my row was crying from laughter, and none of us wanted it to end!! The skits were great - super impressive rapid fire humor, totally live. It was an absolute joy and we had a GREAT time.

    Letterkenny Live was unbelievable!!!!

by Rob08 on 3/19/18The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

The best show I have been to in years. Cast was great during VIP backstage time. They even signed my Letterkenny Shamrocks jersey. The show was non stop laughter. Perfect mix of sketches and stand up. I hope show at some point gets released to fans. I could watch it over and over.

Very little new content. Mostly standup unrelated to the show.

    As Good As The Show

by MeanGab on 3/16/18FirstOntario Concert Hall (Formerly Hamilton Place) - Hamilton

3 stars for the venue, not the show! Show was hilarious, great presence with the crowd! Venue wasn’t the best - bad bar set ups and ran out of beer before half the line was served.

Meeting the cast of Letterkenny was really amazing. They’re super nice guys and seemed to be excited to meet their fans. These guys were so hilarious, I never stopped laughing through the entire show. I hope they go on tour again. If you get a chance to see them, go!!
