I've followed Leonid and Friends on YouTube for a while. They are good musicians and give a nice live performance. They are not just a Chicago tribute band, but do other groups and songs as well. I was not happy with the sound, the voices were "honky"and the girls solo vocal got buried in reverb or something. I know groups take what they get playing venues like the Casino Events Center, but a good lighting designer and some smoke would help their show.
They were fantastic. I want to see them again and take some friends that I know will love it.
Outstanding concert. 3rd time seeing them. Worth going to see them again!
Leonid & Friends is an extremely talented Russian group that specializes in the music of the group Chicago. There are 11-12 members in the group and they are all Russian. There are 4 feature singers and they are extremely talented as well as great performers. Most of the songs are Chicago, but there were several Earth, Wind and Fire as well as one Carpenter's song: Superstar. There are 3 members of the group that play horns and they are sensational. The group is very engaging with the audience and that's obvious as many in the audience had been to numerous Leonid concerts in the past. If this group is coming to your area definitely go see them. My wife and I actually flew to Fort Lauderdale from Dallas just to see them. They are that good.
My 4th time seeing them and finally was able to get a front row, meet and greet ticket. As usual, they put on a fantastic show. And at the meet and greet they were so down to earth and willingly would let you take pictures with them.
I have been wanting to see Leonid and Friends for about 5 years since I first learned about them. i always seem to put off buying tickets( for no real good reason) and the show would be sold out. I have always been a huge Chicago and EWF fan as I had seen them both live in concert in Boston while in college in the 70's. Arguably the two best concerts I ever saw! When i first heard L&F in a you tube video I couldn't believe how much they sounded like these two iconic bands of the 70's!!!Finally when I learned L& F was going to be at Parker April 12th I jumped on line and scored GREAT seats ( Row G...sweeeeet!) Clearly they didn't disappoint! My wife and I thoroughly ENJOYED the 2+ hours they played. Their sound( both vocally and musically)was awesome and the group's enthusiasm towards playing to the audience was very evident and embracing. The collaborative chemistry that the group had with each other was excellent and really added to the evening! they were having fun and it translated to the audience.. I highly recommend to anyone who has never seen Leonid & Friends to treat yourself to a really GREAT show and night of awesome entertainment. And if you have already experienced Leonid & Friends,.... go see them again!!! I know we will next year!!!
Leonid & Friends - a fantastic tribute band !!! Their renditions of Chicago and Earth, Wind & Fire hits are wonderful. I have recently seen EWF and Chicago and enjoyed the Leonid & Friends performance even more!! I have seen many tribute bands and only a few have been outstanding. Leonid & Friends are on my outstanding list !! I will be happy to see them again and will be bringing more friends along to enjoy the show.
Very entertaining and I thought the band was very approachable, like a local band you were friends with.
The older guy who was on lead vocals for Make me Smile was pretty bad. His voice was shot. I thought the other singers were really good. The mix of the horns were drowning out the vocals especially the female who was fantastic. The drum solo went on too long. Chicago does it with a percussionist and a drummer. How can you be a Tribute band and Not Play Saturday in the park? The young lady who did the Karen Carpenter was fantastic. They could do a better job mixing. I’m a traveling musician and I would fixed that mix. Because of this, I would not see them again. Their YouTube videos are nothing like their live performance. I hope they read this a make some changes.
The concert started 20 minutes late. The music was very good although the acoustics were not the best . At times, it was difficult to hear the singers, but the Musicians were great. I really thought the drum solo took way too long and was boring. I am really not in favor of any musical solos unless it is part of the original song.
A friend invited us in 2021 to see Leonid & Friends for the first time at The Parker. We then went on to see them again in 2022 and now 2024. They are an amazing group of talented men and women. Highly recommend them. I also highly recommend the Parker Playhouse. It’s an intimate venue where no seat is a bad seat. I just wish it was a little closer to us up in Palm Beach County. Keep up the great work.
The band was fantastic but the volume was too loud and distorted. Seems to be common at the Parker Playhouse. Yet I saw Eaglemania 2 nights earlier and the sound was perfect. I walked out with 6 guests last year at Gino Vannelli because it was so loud and distorted. All 8 of us agreed the sound was distorted.
After so many years of watching them on YouTube and really loving the band. I was really disappointed on the quality and the lack of enthusiasm from most of the members including Leonid. I was expecting more of the same quality of sound and orchestra shown on thrower videos Ksenia was almost impossible to hear She has a beautiful voice that was drowned by the loud instruments being played Not sure if they actually spend time doing sound checks or not. It was the amateur hour. People leaving during intermission was bass. It was like the band did not want to be there. I thought the auction was tacky Not sure who came up with that. The theater was not helping much The lights were blinding us and the chairs very uncomfortable. What a shame
This was my third time seeing Leonid & Friends at The Parker. They are amazingly talented and put on a really fun show. A must see!!!
Went and saw Leonid & Friends in Birmingham, Alabama. They were absolutely awesome. They interacted with the audience and I also purchased meet and greet tickets. They are not only very very talented and flawless musicians they are also extremely nice in person. Spent some time with them talking and taking pictures. It was the best anniversary present ever. I will go see them again in 2024 in Montgomery Alabama. This is the only band I would travel to go see. They are a must see band!!! You will be amazed.
Credible versions of their covers of the originals. Sound engineer was horrible. Harsh overdriven , painful mix
Attending Leonid and Friends concert for the 3rd time in three years and each time is better than the last! They're talented musicians, personable and fabulous to watch. I'll attend next year as well. They keep getting better and more enjoyable, if that's even possible....
Band was great. FOH mix was not. Sorry, but I was the leader of an EWF tribute band. The guy who mixes their studio stuff deserves a Grammy. Not expecting a studio mix but something better that we got. Still love the band. Be back next year regardless.
Always a great evening when Leonid & Friends comes to Seattle! Fun to hear all the great hits and some surprise songs too! Can’t wait until next year!
