From 1999 to 2002, he won four consecutive Grammy Awards, setting a record for the most wins in the "Best Male Rock Vocal Performance" category for his single "Dig In" (previously winning for "Again," "American Woman" and "Fly Away"). In 2004, he received his sixth Grammy nomination in the category for "If I Could Fall In Love" off his 6th studio album, Lenny. Kravitz's appeal has also been recognized by his peers; his collaborative efforts are as varied as his own influences, having worked with Madonna, Slash, Aerosmith, Jay-Z, N.E.R.D., Mick Jagger, P. Diddy and Alicia Keys.
A father to a 17-year old daughter Zoe, the 43-year old Kravitz's musical success has afforded him many opportunities to fulfill his creative vision beyond the recording industry. He recently created a design company, Kravitz Design, that undertakes various high-concept projects with commercial, residential and product design.
Kravitz released a new album entitled It Is Time For A Love Revolution set in February 2008.
Lenny has the perfect amount of swagger with the songwriting and musician skills to back it up.He performs like his heart and soul is in tune with each chord and lyric!!So at home on stage!!! He put on a fantastic show and I am looking forward to the new album and next tour so I can go see him again!!
What a Fantastic concert!!! Brilliant!!! Plus Lenny is sooooooo talented and hot. They were amazing, the best concert I have been to in a long while. Total Awesome band. You will love it!

This was our 4th Lenny concert… the 3 previous shows were all 10+. Usually Lenny breaks open the show with a rocking song that sets the mood for the entire evening … unfortunately this was not the case on 10/17/09. He came out and was obviously not feeling well and mid-way thought the show he performed on the keyboards for about 15-20 minutes hitting the keys like a kid. We couldn’t take it anymore so we went to the foyer to take a break it was so bad, while standing there beautiful women, in their sexual prime were leaving the show… that’s how pathetic Lenny was. Absolutely horrible show waste of time and we deserve our money back. It pains me writing the cause I was so stoked about the show and believe me I love his work. Not 1 song from his latest CD which I believe was his best since Lenny 5. I don’t understand it… Lenny what happened to you.
What a horrible show! Lenny was obviously very sick and not up to his usual performance. He kept thanking everyone for letting him treat that night like he was in our living room. He kept apologizing and offering up his credit card for a free drink on him. Obviously that never hapenned...... The songs were all older, nothing from his new album. They were all mellow. When he finally did decide to rock for one or two songs, they were totally off beat. He missed lyrics and had trouble keeping up with the music. He looked like hell. The worst Lenny Kravitz show EVER!!!!!! I want my money back!~
Hi, My wife and I went to see Lenny At foxwoods Saturday Night . He was like 20 mins late. Crowd was NOT happy with that . Opening Act i don't think really fit the bill. But The crowd was ok with it. Lenny dragged out 2 of 3 songs beyond the comfort zone . let love rule went way beyond at the near end . we left around 11 pm we were up all day and had to drive about 80 mins home .
Kravitz can still rock...... would have have been a little smoother if Kravitz made a set list for the night....but he decided to wing it. Good mix of new and old stuff.
Better than I expected...great venue and a good crowd..Lenny knows how to get the crowd going. I would see him again.
AWSOME....the most comfortable yet energetic show ive seen in a while
Some time ago The Edge from U2 said that music note were expensive so he didn't use a lot of them in their songs. As a result I felt betrayed and subsequent interest in the band waned to just short of despise. Last night Lenny went on-and-on-and-on with some of his songs to the point where I felt a little cheated. Here is a guy with 7 or 8 studio albums, right? Why then did we only hear maybe 25 tunes from his music 'arsenal'? And the encore was so lame I wish I hadn't stayed for the 15 minute rendition of Let Love Rule. Two weeks ago I saw KISS give a 35 minute encore. They played until 11:30 at night and the best Lenny could do was come out 15 minutes late, then give us just ONE song for the encore? I was disappointed and a little hurt. -Jaige
This was my first Lenny Kravitz concert and it was absolutely awesome! Lenny's voice and jamming were great and his lead guitarist Craig Ross and the rest of his band really rock. He really connects with the audience too. I loved the venue at the MGM Grand-great acoustics, beautiful theatre and comfortable seats to boot. Great show!
It was a great show, Lenny was really into it. You could tell he has missed being in the U.S. His performance was immense. I am looking forward to seeing him perform again, and again. I definetly would recommend Lenny to everyone.
Lenny Kravitz is so unappreciated as a musician. He put on an awesome show. It was was my first time seeing him in concert and I throughly enjoyed myself. I am telling all my friends that they need to start listening to and appreciating his music more. I am definitely going to another concert of his the next time he tours.
I absolutely love Lenny! I think he's one of the most amazing singer/player/song writer of our time and his show was excellent! Maybe it's because the MGM at Foxwood is not too big but we fell like it was a "personal" show, just for us. The sound was great! Loved the whole atmosphere.... Will do it again!!
