Regarded as one of the preeminent rock musicians of our time, Lenny Kravitz has transcended genre, style, race and class into an 18-year musical career, one which revels in the rich influences of '60s and '70s soul, rock and funk.
Kravitz's multiple talents as a writer, producer and multi-instrumentalist have resonated through seven studio albums into a timeless catalog, all of which have been certified either platinum or multi-platinum. From 1999 to 2002, he won four consecutive Grammy Awards, setting a record for the most wins in the "Best Male Rock Vocal Performance" category for his single "Dig In" (previously winning for "Again," "American Woman" and "Fly Away"). In 2004, he received his sixth Grammy nomination in the category for "If I Could Fall In Love" off his 6th studio album, Lenny. Kravitz's appeal has also been recognized by his peers; his collaborative efforts are as varied as his own influences, having worked with Madonna, Slash, Aerosmith, Jay-Z, N.E.R.D., Mick Jagger, P. Diddy and Alicia Keys.
A father to a 17-year old daughter Zoe, the 43-year old Kravitz's musical success has afforded him many opportunities to fulfill his creative vision beyond the recording industry. He recently created a design company, Kravitz Design, that undertakes various high-concept projects with commercial, residential and product design.
Kravitz released a new album entitled It Is Time For A Love Revolution set in February 2008.
I enjoyed this concert way more than I thought I would. I've been a fan of Lenny since my early 20s. This is my first real concert ever attended. It was totally awesome. I would definitely go see him again.
Lenny Kravitz put on one of the best performances I've seen in a long time. The seats were great and the acoustics were great also. He started a little late but unlike some performers who make you wait two hours or more before they come out, he was only 30 minutes late. He made up for the lateness with his non-stop performance of two plus hours of entertainment. I loved his message to the audience. In total, I LOVE LENNY KRAVITZ!!
Lenny Kravitz is 55 years old but hasn't lost a step nor a note. In fact, his voice is just as strong as 30 years ago and as happens with most artists, he has become a better guitar player. The band rocked, the venue was incredible, the sound was perfect. I can't be happier, one of the best concerts I've ever been to...and I'm not even a big Lenny fan.
Saw Lenny 15+ years ago and enjoyed him thoroughly at San Diego Civic Center. Sold out. Great show.
Lenny Kravitz put on an amazing experience, not just a rock show. I have seen well over 60 rock bands from Led Zeppelin to Kings of Leon over the years, this was simply one of the very best I have ever seen. Lenny Kravitz is so special, spreading love and music....and totally rocking the house! Loved every second of this man’s beautiful show ❤️

Lenny Kravitz is a top notch performer and he and his incredible band were on pointe! One of the best concert experiences I've had hands down! The venue is great too...the sound and lighting were amazing and the venue felt intimate even up in the balcony. I did not experience any issues getting in or out of the theatre.
Scheduled for 8pm, started at 8:30. Full band, amazing acoustic. Most new album songs which I wasn’t familiar with.

Great show from start to finish. The sound mix quality was Fantastic. Lenny Kravitz is a Fun....Get up on your feet kind of performer. Band was perfect, encore was a blast, with a choir too! Electrifying Electric Guitar combined with a clean booming thru the soul drum beat. Brass section.....it had it all🎸🎸🥁🥁🎷🎺🎸🎸
Lenny Kravitz was amazing! He sounded absolutely fantastic and I loved the way he interacted with his fans. He made fans feel appreciated by telling them how grateful he was and by going into the crowd to greet them. I have never seen another artist do that during their show. His band was also terrific and the light show/staging was great. The San Diego Civic theatre is a small venue which made the show feel even more intimate. I will definitely try and catch another Lenny Kravitz show when he comes to town!
This was my first time seeing Lenny live and he blew my mind. One of the best performers I have ever seen. I will definitely see him again if he comes to San Diego

I loved the theater! I loved Lenny Kravitz. He sounded amazing and his band was great. I would go to see him again. The tickets were reasonable. The concert was amazing!
It was an amazing night. I could see Lenny Kravitz every week. He is such a peaceful and tranquil human being, plus he knows how to really rock. Comerica theater is my go-to venue for concerts.

Venue was not the greatest... woman with big hat in front of us And larger man in front left of her. Very hard to see stage... frustrating paying that much ($98) to not be able to see!
