  • Earth, Wind & Fire Legacy Tour

by DZ on 3/24/24Ovens Auditorium - CharlotteRating: 5 out of 5

We had seats upstairs and they were nice enough to upgrade us to downstairs seats for free! The band was wonderful. I could see everyone around us was having a good time also.

  • Dazed and Confused

by Carolina Girl on 3/19/24Ovens Auditorium - CharlotteRating: 2 out of 5

The show was decent but EVERYONE was under the impression that this was the actual group. Also the special guest…I personally called the venue and they told me that The Average White Band was actually there. Well to my surprise…. THEY WERE NOT! Only the sax player. Overall a decent show, but this was so deceiving.

  • Original members

by Pam on 3/18/24Ovens Auditorium - CharlotteRating: 3 out of 5

Overall, the concert was not a major disappoint me t , however I was very upset that the legacy tour that I attended did not include any of the original members. I think this information should have been shared in the description to customers.

  • Back Down Memory Lane

by Scoop on 3/17/24Ovens Auditorium - CharlotteRating: 5 out of 5

This was a very entertaining concert. From beginning to the end. Nonstop oldie but goodies. Took us back to the good old days. Everyone was up on their feet. My only problem is the venue staff wouldn't let you in the isles to dance and really enjoy yourself. Ugh! Also the bars closed BEFORE the concert was over.....really! Overall we had a great time. The band was awesome. We drove 3 hours to see this event.

  • Beware!!! This Isn’t Earth, Wind, and Fire!!!

by Joyce on 3/17/24Ovens Auditorium - CharlotteRating: 1 out of 5

I purchased the tickets thinking it is an Earth, Wind, and Fire concert. Wrong!!!! It’s a cover band singing their songs. The singers were good but I didn’t pay to hear them. I could have listened to someone sing those songs for FREE! If you want to hear Earth, Wind, and Fire sing their own songs, this is not what you’re getting.

  • Bait and swap?

by Confused on 3/17/24Ovens Auditorium - CharlotteRating: 5 out of 5

Thought we were going to see Earth Wind and Fire plus alumni. Then they removed any reference to EWF from the title of the show. Added reference to Average White Band - their sax player joined the performance. Between the outrageous pricing and the confusion over who were really going to see, we were not sure what to expect. Who ever they were they were great! But very unhappy with this ticket process!!!

  • Awful. If I could give it a zero I would

by Db on 3/14/24Rating: 1 out of 5

This was not advertised as a tribute band which that is what it is—a D performance at best. False advertising!!

  • Duped!

by Carolina Girl on 3/14/24Rating: 3 out of 5

The band was decent but really expected more. The venue stated that AWB was here but this is a cover band. Long story short….NO Average White Band only Sax player. DISAPPOINTED!! Read EVERYTHING
